Homestay reached out immediately after the booking to confirm stay and responded to queries promptly. A lot of tours to nearby attractions can be done and arranged through the homestay and we did both Tumpak Sewu and Mt Bromo tours over consecutive days following the staff's recommendation. Overall stay, bedroom and bathroom, and food options were good, not forgetting their amazing staff who made the start of our holiday great - shoutout to Mas Arya and Mbak Sudus (and more) for the great hospitality!

Our TV in the room didnt work and couldnt connect to the set top box but we didnt find any issues since we were mostly out and relatively tired after the tours.

We stayed here after an independent trip to Bromo. It was perfect to rest before getting a train in the morning. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the staff very nice. They have a restaurant which was practical, the menu was diversified and prices correct. They offer a free pick-up/drop-off to the train station. A special mention to the ethics of the staff, I booked the same hotel in a different period, when the Bromo was closed for a Hindu celebration, and they mentioned that before my arrival so I canceled my reservation. Sometimes in tourism people only wants to make money but they were transparent. Everything for a very affordable price. I totally recommend this place!

In Probolinggo the transport is not easy,so the homestay helped a lot to organize transports. Also the pick up from busstation was free. We are very thanksful! The price of Tour Bromo ist fair, there is already the entrance fee (260.000/pax) included. That's why it seems expensive. So don't complain! The price of one night is very good! And I can reccomand the food, there are also vegetarian/ vegan options-which is not easy to find in Probolinggo. Enjoy!

It doesn't depend on the homestay. It's about Probolinggo. I didn't feel always welcomed in some areas. The service of Restaurants in Probolinggo is difficult. But I was happy with Clover Homestay's Restaurant :)

Very kind stuff, helpful, and communicative. Breakfast were a little bit poor, could be better, but that's maybe personal preference. I can really recommend this accommodation, especially if you plan Bromo trip or you need help with further traveling.

food and coffee, that could be really better. And please, when you order black coffee, make sure you mention no sugar, lady from kitchen by default prepared black coffee with sugar automatically. The same coffee with milk means that it comes mixed already. Maybe that is how it works in Indonesia :)

The outside decor was very warm and cozy providing a good first impression for our very low expectations. The staff were all lovely, very helpful in organising the Bromo trip for us and transparent about the journey. Felt very well informed and well looked after. Always asked if we wanted to eat at their restaurant which is cooked by the women working there and you can see them preparing it. The rooms were actually all you need for a short stay. Good aircon, comfy bed, private bathroom with hot showers, water and even a new blanket (wrapped in plastic) which we didn’t use.

Honestly not much to dislike for this price. Only had one socket far away from the bed if we’re being picky but no major dislikes.

I was surprised at how beautiful this was. We arrived at a sunny courtyard with shadows and nice decorations, the hotels chillout space is very inviting, colourful, cozy and comfortable. Our superior room was good and very clean. Towels were clean, floor was clean, bed was clean and comfy. Toilet did not stink at all.(which was such a great thing after coming from stinky toilets in the mountains) We got free shuttle service to the trainstation and free breakfast. Burger for dinner was also very good. The staff was amazing! Very kind and friendly, patient and helpful. We had a wonderful stay here inbetween our volcano trips, Thank you.

The staff were all very nice and friendly. It offered good value, Breakfast is included on some of the room rates. I used it as a base for Bromo tour but the weather let me down so I just relaxed here instead.

my only little thing is that some guy comes around and starts cleaning your outside windows at about 7am which woke me on both days as it sounded like someone was trying to get into the room, it was a bit weird but harmless. I dont think he should be doing that so early though. perhaps after 8am in future please. I am however a light sleeper so anyone without such issues would probably sleep right through it.

Nice place in well-maintained area of the city, walkable distance to the centre and train station. The rooms are very simple, a bit outworn but since the price is low, you can't complain much. They also organize various tours, we tried Bromo for 600k per person, it was worth it and it was also very special (there were just 2 of us). The breakfast is at 25k per person for a menu that has 4 options. There is also a restaurant on the site that serves food until 8.30pm. Free car transfer from the train station (but not the other way). The staff speaks English, and you can pay with foreign cards here.

No remote control to operate TV, AC plug only below TV and too high if your wire is short (you need to improvise). If you stay longer, limited breakfast options - only 1 of 4 options serves local food (rice with egg), they could add a few more options for those who seek to eat local food.

The hosts are really kind and make effort to be supportive anytime. You have possibility to eat at their restaurant with a nice terrace and the food is delicious. They also provide a tour to Bromo crater with staff really kind. During the way back to my girlfriend forgot her cellphone in the jeep, and they were talking among them to arrange the best way possible they bring it back to us before our train departa, even before we realized it was missing. In the lodging, Restu, one of the host asked us for a feedback of the service in order to improve their service to the guests. He is truly committed to offer the best experience. We definitely recommend this accommodation.

This Homestay is a great place to stay, especially if you wish to organise some trips. The staff is very helpful and we were able to organise with them the tempaksewu waterfalls, the mount bromo and the Ijen trip. Everything went smoothly. They have a free pick-up service, they were waiting for us at the probolingo train station the day we arrived. The price quality is just great. The rooms are very basic but if you are planning tours you don’t need more. The food they serve is also very good. I can recommend this place.
