We stood at Freddies for four nights and we very much enjoyed It. The location was good and the beach beneath The restaurant was cool. The staff is amazing, they do their BEST to help you in everything you need...that was what we appreciated the most. Whatever you need, just talk to them. Laundry service is cheap and very good. The restaurant is affordable and real good aswell. Special metion goes to the Tuk Tuk driver we were recommended, Mr. Happy. We had some trouble the first days to get to the places we wanted to go or find the right things to do, but since we first met Mr. Happy he made our staying much more easy and enjoyable...did his BEST and helped US in everything he could and more.

Thank you very much Mr. Freddie and the whole team for the kind help and hospitality! Despite the handicap of my father, thanks to the great service of all of you (including your security team), we had an unforgettable stay at Freddies Santai Sumurtiga. The meals were great with very reasonable price. Very tasty meals. The view is amazingly marvellous! The beach is very clean. Conclusion: Great, great, great place for holidays! It is a bit challenging for handicap people (on wheelchair) to go to the restaurant. But the staff is very kind to help pushing the wheelchair!

The new look of Feeedies. It's become more bigger, organizer & beautiful. This is 2nd time and I can see the different from 2016 and now. Love to see the business expand and have more options and it's can be book online. Last time, only can be booked via email.

I don't like the head shower in my room. It need to be fix. The restaurant staff, I can see they more friendly and lovely when entertain the western guest/ customers. Please don't be double standard like that. If COVID hit again, you will need a local or asian neighbors guests to support the business.

First of all a big compliment to all the staff who work there; everyone, without exception, is extremely friendly, professional and makes you feel very welcome as a guest at Freddies.  The location on the beach is idyllic. The type of room I had is definitely worth the money. There are 3 deluxe apartments with sea view next to each other. Your terrace is right above the beach or water (at high tide). The room is very spacious with a small fridge, safe, kettle, coffee, tea, sugar and also toiletries.  The room was cleaned very neatly, here again a compliment to the cleaning ladies.  As a westerner it is nice that you can have a glass of beer in the restaurant. 

No air conditioning in this room which makes it very warm in the room and on the enclosed terrace. A (cheap) improvement would be to place 1 or 2 fans on the terrace but for the price of the room air conditioning should actually be standard.

Beautiful location, amazing snorkelling we especially liked the local turtles who swam with us and very helpful and friendly staff. They organised anything we needed and all the food was delicious. The beach villa was very well appointed and worked perfectly for our family of 4. Thanks to Freddie for the hospitality it was lovely to see him again after our previous visit 12 years ago.

I found the bed a bit hard

Freddies is an exotic, South Pacific-style resort with some of the best beach on the island. The place is very popular with locals, and has a great restaurant with lots of tables and a wide assortment on the menu. The room I had is done up in bamboo (or rattan) and is smallish, with a good queen-sized bed, a fridge, basic and functional bathroom, shelving to put away things, fans (no AC), good electrical, hot water and wifi as well. The windows overlook the scenic beach and palm trees - a really nice balcony are also included. Staff is excellent.

The beach has great sand, but depending on the tide, it may be mostly rocks. The resort is great, but has become overdeveloped, with too much crammed into a small space. The room is not very private due to the noise and smells from the restaurant below and ongoing construction.

Lovely people, good restaurant, lovely little beach out front! Freddie checks in with all his guests and adds a little personal touch. We were there with friends and their baby (<1). We were very well looked after and Freddie's was forthcoming in all our requests. We took a tuctuc island tour with Happy (tuctuc driver) through the hotel and it was great! I also went diving and my friends went snorkeling all of which could be arranged at freddies for good prices.

We started in an economy room, we should have spent a bit more as we moved to another room after one night. It was infinitely more comfortable. It was a bit too hot in the econ room. There was an incident with some pants at the laundry service but this was resolved adequately.

The scenery, the easy access and the convenience of having the restaurant.

1. During day time, it is really hot and humid. Please consider putting AC for all the normal rooms 😅 2. The restaurant have lots of variety and good foods. Cleanliness is okay, what can be better is that if the workers don't hold cigarette / smoke while working and handling food. And also have a dedicated smoking zone for the restaurant.

Very kind and helpful staff, well organized and big company with many facilities! There's a new building on the other side of the road, nice view on the ocean! They rent anything you need here and are happy to help!

It lacks some atmosphere and vibe and did not deliver on the hype. The restaurant tables were a bit dirty with napkins everywhere on the floor. There's no garden at the new building. Shower was a little bit broken, do the water flow was going sideways.

This is 2nd time been here. The place have change a lot since my first visit. Restaurant,foods is good and for reasonable price. There is stair connecting to the beach too. Booking for beach view for 2 person and the sunrise to good to be missed. Location not too far from Jetty and Town and easy to accesss. Overall is good and enjoy my stay.

There too many stairs😂. If forgot some things in room,, could be lazy to return back.
