I was impressed by hotel Chanti. When I book the room, I'm a bit worry because they do have smoking floor, and I'm sensitive of cigarette smell. So I'm afraid that the air circulation will not so good, that my room will have cigarette smell too even though I book non-smoking room. But it was clean, and I didn't smell cigarette at all in my room. Bed is comfortable. And breakfast is really fabulous, I really enjoy my breakfast time at Chanti Hotel. Lots of variety, and attentive staff.

At Barcha (bar / restaurant on the Lobby floor, opposite the reception), they provide an indoor smoking area that is not separated by walls or enclosed in a designated room. As a non-smoker, I found the smell very disturbing. Even though there were two air purifiers placed in the area—and I chose a table close to one of them—the cigarette smoke was still very noticeable and unpleasant. I hope the management considers creating a properly enclosed smoking room to ensure a more comfortable experience for non-smoking guests too.

Amazing breakfast. Good variety including many kind of jamu and wedang. And also a unique hidden menu tolak angin ice cream. Beside breakfast, we also tried dinner in the resto. And all the menu we ordered were amazing. The live music were great too. Great facilities, including small kids playground, spacious rooms, and we love the overall design.

The parking are quite challanging, but the free vallet are really helpful

The room were impeccably clean and provided freshness. The staffs also demonstrated hospitality and very attentive, even during breakfast, they proactively approach my niece to offer a cotton candy. Their breakfast menu were offered variety of menu, with inclusion of both traditional and international menu.

The lift is too limited (only 2). During the check out time, it took almost 15 minutes to get available lift to go to the basement.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating, especially Rois who provided exceptional service and hospitality. The room was well presented and extremely comfortable. The buffet breakfast had excellent variety and high quality food. The pool and facilities were very clean and not too busy.

Weird that the way to get into the hotel is through a car parking garage. Not the grand entrance exactly when one has to squeeze through the queuing cars and their fumes in the closed garage

The friendly staffs, the clean and room size room that is spacious, clean and comfortable. The simple clean designs and lobby that smells fresh and good

The bathroom shower area that is only covered by half-sized shower curtains causing wet floors all over when taking shower. Also parking area too tight and hard for manouvering cars. Also when you loose a room card key there is a monetary fine of Rp50k each. Room reservations including Breakfast should include cappuccinos for free

It’s a unique property that doesn’t have a lobby that’s accesible to everyone so it’s safer. It’s a comfy clean and rather small hotel located in the heart of Semarang, only 100m from Sri Ratu! Very well managed, the food is good, the staffs are nice, the room is squeaky clean and wonderful

It doesn’t have a lobby that’s accesible so I have to pick everything downstairs.

Friendly personnel. The best breakfast. of all hotels on our Java trip.

Small rooms. Entry through the garage. Pool was small, gym closed (renovation). Soundproofing between the rooms is very poor (we had to listen to karaoke until 22.30 on Friday)

Staff are super friendly. Room is cleaned properly. Traditional supplies for mini bar.
