A slice of paradise in Sengigi! Incredibly friendly staff who made me feel at home right from the start and were happy to share their insider knowledge. Beautiful breakfast with multiple options to suit every taste. Rooms and property were kept very clean, with daily housekeeping available. Really comfy beds. A stone's throw from the main drag with multiple restaurants for lunch or dinner. Grateful to the lovely owners who helped me even after I left and the taxi to the port tried to scam me. Thanks again for your kindness!

I loved everything. This was my favourite place I stayed in 3 weeks of traveling across Indonesia and would definitely stay here again.

We couldn’t recommend Mama Bella’s Retreat highly enough. The property is a short walk from the main area of Sengiggi, but set in a really quiet location with the jungle and hills behind it. The facilities were all good and functional, with a lovely pool and area to lay in the sun. Breakfast was really nice each morning, with a good menu. The staff of the accomodation are all fantastic and friendly, and go above and beyond for their guests. They have a wide variety of activities that they will happily organise for you - all are reasonably priced and great value for money. We will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful gardens and all rooms had a lovely view of the gardens and pool. The breakfast was lovely each morning with a selection to choose from. Very happy with the accomodation, the comfort and amenities in the room and how happy everyone was who was working. A little treasure and I will be back for longer to explore the town and beaches more. I loved that after a full day exploring my laundry had been placed at the end of my bed. Who doesn’t love coming home to clean laundry 😄 Thank you for making me feel so welcome, safe and comfortable as a mature solo traveller.

That I didn’t stay longer.

If I was going to design and build my own Indonesian boutique hotel, this would be it. Small, neat, well laid out, excellent pool and garden surrounds. Service was efficient and the owners were great at troubleshooting. It is in the heart of the village which means you get the best of both worlds: a quiet retreat with lots of engaging local colour in the surrounds. It IS next to the village mosque so the call-to-prayer 5 times a day is very loud and starts early. But for me that just adds to the ambience, its great having my first coffee at 0530 knowing others are up and about too. There are kilometres of resorts to the north that have no connection with the local village life for those that are after a more sterile resort experience.

Breakfast was basic and I would have preferred an indonesian menu. But it was free and for that I am grateful.

I liked everything about Mama Bella's. From the moment I entered this little haven, it became obvious that everyone who worked there wanted to deliver the highest standards in hospitality. The little fridge at reception even had ion infused water that my friend needed for her heat stress recovery. The immaculately maintained facility made it a real pleasure to spend our time there. I want to make note of the extras within the rooms that contributed to our comfort, for example: face washers, shower curtain, extra floor mats, a drying rack, filtered water in the room and refill stations, a long built in bench to organise luggage, ceiling fan, a fridge and safe. The grounds were so beautifully landscaped and cared for. We were given assistance and advice about flying back to Denpasar. It's a short walk to a supermarket and my friend received helpful advice from a nearby chemist.

The hosts were incredible, couldn’t do much more. Overslept one morning but they let me have breakfast past the cut off time. They organised a scooter and laundry for me immediately, such great service. Pool was clean and had options to lie in the sun and in the shade. Breakfast menu was small but the food was excellent, great home made food with local ingredients. Bed was comfy and shower was extremely powerful. Smallish rooms but perfect for what was needed.

Lots of ants. Could put more spray and killer down in the rooms. Street from main road has very little lighting at night but not a problem if you’re away.

Spacious, beautiful, and every day carefully cleaned room and bathroom. Very kind and helpful hosts. Beautiful environment with a big clean pool and resting beds, like paradise. You can choose your own selection from the breakfast menu, and the options are rich and delicious. They organized a very good scooter for a very good price, 120 k per day. They organized a very comfortable boat trip to Bali and also for a good price. Strongly recommended for an even longer stay :)

This hotel offers its guests a wonderful retreat, just like its name. The couple who owned the hotel were very helpful with food, activities on the island, and everything else. The rooms were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. There was an excellent breakfast. We loved every option we tried! There is a sufficient pool and the poolside is very pleasant. We had a very peaceful and wonderful stay among the magnificent plants. Definitely a place to choose in Lombok in terms of price/performance. I hope to see you again. Thank you for everything!

We were very satisfied with the stay and later returned for a few more nights. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and nice. There was air conditioning, fan, kettle, TV, fridge and it all worked. The bathroom was delicious with plenty of hot water and a shower that worked. The bedding was clean and the bed good. It is quiet and peaceful here. There was wifi, it worked fine. The breakfast was very good and 50 m away is a local restaurant with good food and reasonable prices. The swimming pool was clean and a nice place to relax. Do yourself the favor of taking a walk around the small village that is a few hundred meters out of the way. It is an authentic experience and the people are extremely friendly. Feel free to buy something from one of the small grocery stalls and thus support the local community.

The location is just within the walking distance to beach clubs and restaurants in Senggigi. This hotel really delivers more than what we expected. The staffs are the best. They are doing anythin they could to assist us. They helped us with shuttles fron Teluk Nare port and also to the airport after check out. All with a very reasonable price. Baby Kiprah really stole our hearts during our stay there. She is always around and amazibgly majes us feel like home....the breakfast was great. We lovethehone made baguet and Lombok coffee, the fruit platter was generous as well.....all is perfect. Definitely will come back to stay there when we are in Lombok
