Location Centre of Senggigi in the main strip Roof top pool a winner and a couple of coldies. Visit the bar for a sundowner a must…meet other visitors, locals and Peter the hotel owner and not forgetting the very astute and knowledgeable bar manager Mal. Breakfast was tasty

It was the most annoying issue. There is a mosque situated across the road from the Taman restaurant and Hotel. The speaker is directly pointed at the hotel…the volume of the readings from the prayer readers and the singing actually hurt my ears it was that loud…well above what would be considered “harmful”. I was having a quiet ale and talking to some other visitors when this praying commenced…the couple I was talking to had to leave as they couldn’t bear the volume level…I had to leave as well. it’s ridiculously loud and something should be done about this noise hazard.

This place ticks all the boxes ,clean rooms with comfortable beds and spotless bedding ,very helpful and smiling staff ,I had a very late check in and they were waiting for me..Best location in Sengiggi shops vg massage spa,restaurants all very close by.5 mins walk to the beach .Nice garden restaurant downstairs with good coffee and breakfast. A rooftop POOL ......great for watching the beautiful sunsets every night !! Highly recommended...good price for what you get as well.

End of my stay .....

Food was good…the Indian dishes were very tasty. The top deck pool area very relaxing and very scenic views. Enjoyed meeting Mel at the bar again…meet up with expats and some locals for my 5pm cold beer or two. The owner very accomodating and enjoyed a chat at the bar at 5. The staff were very helpful and have beautiful nature

There is a Mosque opposite the hotel …its speaker pointing directly into the Taman restaurant under the hotel. It’s extremely noisey and is well above what is considered healthy hearing levels…actually got ear pain. I realise locals have to pray etc but this is far too loud for standard hearing….needs amplifier turned down. This noise happens at 5am and again at 5 to 5:30 pm…when you sleeping and when you having a quiet cold beer at the bar. Ridiculously loud and harmful

The best things about the hotel are the central location, the incredible restaurant (don’t go anywhere else - just eat in the garden restaurant) and the absolutely lovely staff. I’ve stayed here before and I will definitely come back. It is just fantastic.

There is nothing I didn’t like. It is a bargain. For the price you can’t go wrong. I sincerely highly recommend the place.

We were able to leave some bags for a couple of days without charge, which was very nice of them. It is in walking distance from Senggigi Harbour and the ferry. The breakfast was excellent and they have decent coffee. A tip. We moved to this hotel because a nearby hotel had no water pressure for showers etc. Of course the first thing we checked was water for showers which was excellent. The manager pointed out that they have a large tank on the 4th level which can service the hotel if the town water supply is off which apparently happens frequently

5am wake up call…””ala Akbar “…totally unnecessary with three mosques in close proximity…far too loud and no need to have every page of the Koran broadcast for an hour…doesn’t happen in Mecca…a simple broadcast to say “ hey you guys, wake up it’s time to pray” would suffice

I love pool on top of the hotel and nice big rooms! Bed is very comfortable and good breakfast!

Senggigi needs city clean up and Red doorz sign brings this butigue hotel down!

This hotel is in central Senggigi but is hidden behind the Garden restaurant in the main street. The staff were very friendly and the food and drinks were very good value. I highly recommend the breakfast which is served in the restaurant, in your room, or on the Pool deck. I want to particularly give a shout out to Asmni who consistently went above and beyond for us during our stay the staff organised a day trip to waterfalls and to the zoo. We stayed in room 12 and couldn’t fault it. The Wi-Fi worked well and was pretty quick. Thank you for everything Taman Unique Hotel.

The start was not so good, because the room they showed me was not great-looking. Very outdated, and without fridge (even if i booked room with fridge). But the staff changed my room and it was good. After that, everyrhing went really good, we even extended our stay there. The owner is very friendly, he showed some places to visit. Renting a scooter is very easy - just next to the hotel. Also next to hotel is very good spa with good prices. Hotel has a pool with sunbathing chairs. You can also order a food and eat on top of the roof where the pool is.

Rooms could be a bit repaired. :(

Second visit here, everything is great!! any problems and the super friendly staff are on it immediately .Best location in Sengiggi and the rooftop pool is a bonus for a relaxing dip. Recommend it to anyone visiting Sengiggi.
