We were one family split in to 3 rooms but the hotel arranged adjacent rooms and 2 rooms were connecting. The staff was ever so friendly and smiling. The rooms and beds were comfortable and clean. Our first room had an odor in the bathroom. After the staff attempted a fix that failed, they immediately relocated us to a new room, and compensated us with 2 delicious platters of fresh fruit. They really did their best to please.

Besides the initial problem in the room that was solved, all was fine!

Location, room is clean + comfortable and stable hot water flow, plus the hotel facilities.

The deluxe room stated in booking.com has a balcony, but in fact, there is no balcony room except suite rooms. We got some debate going with the receptionist until I showed them what it stated in booking.com, and then they relented as this is their e-commerce mistake and need to be corrected to avoid misleading info.

It's a nice hotel, great 3 *, modern and bright, very clean, TV 📺 works and not a bad choice of local and international channels, good breakfast and near train station and a nice big mall.

The in house restaurant was a bit expensive, they told me that the ikan bakar was a salt water fish, but it was definitely fresh water fish, easy to know because they taste completely different, I didn't complain but I thought it wasn't nice trying to fool me, I also wish they adjust or create a price for families rather than charging families(with small children)for 2 full rooms, other hotels do it, otherwise I think is a great choice for a weekend or an overnight stay, specially since we have direct flights from Penang, Johore and Kuala Lumpur.

The staff are excellent, very kind, smiley and helpful, especially the front office staff. They welcome you and make you feel at home, well taken care of.

This trip, I got the room where the bathroom some time release unpleasant odor. Not all the time, only in early morning. Other than that, no other issue.

The room was amazing, and the location was perfect for doing business at the Australian Consulate during our short stay in Surabaya.

After our stay, we found out that the hotel provided 24-hour in room food service. I didn't notice when I booked by trip, so part of this was my fault, but the room had no menu provided, which would have prompted us to order food to our room. Traveling with a 4mth old, getting down to breakfast during our stay wasn't easy, so we left the hotel every day to eat out. This wasn't easy either. Dinners we order gojek every night, had we had a menu in our room I'm sure we would have used the hotels room service more often.

Clean, accessible, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast selection changes each day and has good variety that way.

Fridge did not power on, soap could have used a dish because it just keeps slipping into the sink otherwise.

Bedroom was well laid out. The huge bed was really comfortable. Great shower. Breakfast was buffet with a mix of western and Indonesian.

Make sure what you have on the menu is available. How can you not have chicken steak!

Breakfast was good. Location of the hotel is in middle of the town, you can reach most of the important places in Surabaya within minutes.

Although it is not hotel's responsibility, but it would be nice if the main road have an access for pedestrian. There are no traffic lights and me and my colleagues found it difficult to crossing the main road.

The room was clean and spacious. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The swimming pool was only open for 2 hours between 6-8pm which was inconvenient. The charge for airport transfer was excessive and more than double a normal taxi. The "American" breakfast was a bit disappointing - it was all bread and no/little protein. Some eggs would have been nice. However, it was very generous.

Excellent 3 star hotel that far exceeded my expectations....in fact I had to check at reception, was it 3 star or 4 star.... Staff went above and beyond, in my experience and I've stayed in hundreds of hotels throughout Asia and Europe for that matter...100 percent in my book..😁
