Sanyas is a hidden treasure in kerambitan! Amazing, spacious and extremely clean rooms. Daily room service done which is few and far between. The gardens are fabulous and very well maintained with a breathtaking entry. Perfectly positioned between terraced rice fields and jungle, you won’t be disappointed. The staff at Sanyas are what sets it apart from other stays. Namely Ayu. She is the heart of Sanyas. She went above and beyond to accommodate us. She made our stay something very special for what we are very grateful. The location is quite remote so ask for Gusti as your driver for the day. He is very affordable and a wealth of knowledge of the area as he lives in the village. There is local food to get or if you order in advance you can have traditional food at Sanyas. Ayu arranged a scooter for us so we were able to explore the area by ourselves which was ideal.

The property itself is beautiful, with private rooms/houses in beautiful Balinese style. The garden is very well maintained. We were the only guests so we had the swimming pool to ourselves. It’s located between stunning rice fields and is perfect for some peace and quiet. Staff were also wonderful and very welcoming.

The food is just not up to standard and it’s very remote so there are very limited dining options nearby. Krambitan is an unpleasant 20 minute walk over a busy road. The breakfast menu desperately needs to be improved. Dinner can be ordered a day in advance, but from pretty much the same menu as breakfast and therefore also needs improving. We understand that it’s not profitable to have a chef on site with the limited visitors that come to this area, but both the quality and choices need substantial upgrading to attract any sort of repeat custom. Rooms could also do with an upgrade, but this can be forgiven by the stunning outside areas.

Really happy friendly staff, would do anything to make you smile. Very attentive make you feel at home from the get go they really do go above and beyond all expectation. The property is nice too lovely rooms I’ve been in 3 all amazing in their own way. Good food cooked with love and a nice pool area to top everything off. Suksma 🇮🇩🙏

The lady who looked after me on arrival was so friendly and this combined with the comfort, location, peaceful nature, pool and gardens, incited me to book another night! I feel so relaxed here. Definatly recommend.

It was a shame food and the spa have to be ordered the day before from an external source as they don't have people on site for this but I understand it is more practical and cost effective .

My kids, my mum and I stayed here and had a fabulous time. If you looking for somewhere peaceful surrounded by jungle and rice paddies this is the place. We stayed in Villa Manggis (known as villa Mangosteen), i recommend this villa. it was a beautiful 'traditionally made' Wooden house. And we had our own private pool which felt very special. We could also use the larger 'general' pool aswell. Breakfast was yummy. The lady who runs the place, Ayu , was so very lovely and friendly and helped us with anything we needed. All the staff were lovely. I will be recommending this place to my friends. Thanks again.

Possibly having a small kitchen would be useful, even just a basic one. As a kettle and fridge usually is enough for us (if we are close by to resturants). But as resturants arent nearby it's hard to access food for lunch and dinner without the GRAB app.

Sanyas Retreat is the ideal place to enjoy the quiet side of Bali. The hotel is very confortable with all services including a wonderful swiming pool but it's also very well integrated in its environment.

Should avoid the use of plastic for water bottles and else.
