Staff was courteous, warm and professional. The extra amenities and resort activities (romantic dinner, cooking class, pool) were amazing. We were made to feel like family and were invited to share the Chinese new year with the staff and community. The photos were spot on, and the snorkeling was the BEST we had ever seen. There are blue Star fish, coral the size of cars, lion fish and so much more. Buggy the bartender will make you feel like you are good friends while the rest of the staff are equally amazing. We have traveled all over Bali and the world and found this resort to be one of the best experiences we have ever had. Thank you Made and team!

The massage was a bit rough and fast in movement for my liking. That may be a personal preference.

The place was beautiful. The bungalow was great, super comfortable, the garden beautiful and sea view fantastic, sunrises were spectacular and food and staff were good too.

This is an amazing place. Exceptional location with the ocean literally right next to you. It’s a dive resort so if you’re a water baby get your diving license before going. The staff is amazing and they make you feel welcomed every single time you meet them no matter how many times in the day. There’s so much open space, quiet, nature around d that it’s all very fulfilling. Do not expect fancy city stuff. Chill in the pool, visit nearby waterfalls, volcano mountains etc. read and write too. If you’re looking for entertainment apart from yourself and your company look somewhere else. This place has a natural sanctity to maintain.

I think if people are informed at the time of booking that the journey to this place is via the mountains and can be ruthless so they should start their drive in the morning and target reaching by afternoon, it would help the guests. I was not aware of the long winding roads and reached at 7pm which was pretty dark and the resort is not in a beach town so is a complete different story from the ones coming from places like Seminyak.

Perfect spot in an quiet environment, away from the tourist spots. We stayed two weeks with family, the staff was extra ordinary friendly. The room (we had a villa with two rooms and an own pool) was amazing. Snorkling at the house riff was nice for the home family and sea turtles have been the highlight. We ended up in doing a Open Water dive course in the diving base as part of the resort. Diving trainer was very friendly, experienced and patient with me and my daughter. Safety first. Restaurant was very nice with Asian and western food for reasonable prices. Will definitely go again.

Just a tiny thing is the drive from the airport to the location. It is a three hours drive and the location offers pick up. This pick up is done with a huge bus which is hard to drive in the heavy traffic. But this is only a 1% part of the comment. The rest is 99% perfect.

This resort is obviously very well managed because the staff are particularly happy and helpful (even by Bali standards) and the resort facilities and grounds are simply superb! The grounds and gardens are so well maintained! It was a pleasure to just walk around and look. ROOM: The bungalow with garden view is really spacious and very comfortable. The huge terrace is lovely and we enjoyed spending our afternoons relaxing on the day bed and just looking at the beautiful gardens. We couldn't see the sea, but it was only a few steps away. The bed was comfortable enough, AC was good, there was a ceiling fan, plenty of hot water and good pressure in the shower. Wifi was ok sometimes and not very good at others, but we understood we were in northern Bali and it's probably not something the resort can control. GROUNDS: The bungalows are scattered beautifully around the gardens, with loads of coconut palms, beautiful flowers, lots of frangipani trees. It was a pleasure to walk through the grounds to the pool and restaurant area. POOL: The pool is really lovely and overlooks the sea. There are so many areas, depths and different places to relax or swim in the pool. We loved it. There were plenty of sun loungers, which is not usual in most resorts. FOOD: The restaurant was very good. There really wasn't anywhere else to go so this could have been a problem, however it turned out the food was very nice and we were very happy with everything. Breakfast was really good, with plenty of options and each day there were some small differences to make it interesting. We loved the egg chef at breakfast! :-) Yes, we really enjoyed our stay here and yes, we would certainly come again. And yes, we recommend it to others.

The mosquitoes in the bathroom which snuck into the room at night. But we solved this by using a mosquito coil in there. The road coming into the resort from the main road had us wondering if we were heading to somewhere not so good. Don't worry, it turns into a really wonderful resort at the end!

Absolutely loved discovering this hidden slice of paradise it was lovely and far from the main tourist spots to be idyllic and quiet. I went there during off season so there seemed to be only 5 other people in the entire resort at the time. The hosts very graciously upgraded me to an entire oceanside villa, the sunrises were stunning and I especially loved the long couch bed they have on the balcony where I spent many hours listening to the waves and reading and relaxing. Snorkeling is also great, hired some equipment from the dive shop for about $15AUD and swam with turtles right out the front of my room. A very delicious and expansive menu, I enjoyed working my way through all the Balinese food. Definitely keen to come back.

Not much to complain about, pool closes early and doors to the rooms are a little low so I banged my head a few times, but hardly something to worry about.

The gardens are really beautiful the room was big and comfortable. The pool and breeze off the sea was also very nice. Staff are very helpful. The dive centre is organised and dive master very good.

The wifi didn't work very well in the room so needed to go to the restaurant or lobby for better connection. No real micro economy outside so eating at the same resort restaurant was the only reasonable option. I did not have a very good experience at the spa. The equipment rental at the dive centre is relatively expensive compared to other dive centres in the north and east.

it’s remote and nothing within walking distance . had a garden view house , terrible air conditioning . staff tried super hard to give us other rooms , they ( staff and room) where amazing . however there was little to do here but sit by a pool and relax which is great if that’s what you liked .booked out early . can’t fault staff or the beautiful private villa accomodation .

amazing resort, great service, great staff, great food, cabin with sea view, great place for weddings! also for digital nomads - good wifi. I will come back
