Everything!!Fivelements Retreat delivers on every level! From the warm welcome by the GM and staff with their huge smiles, to the beautiful grounds and the exquisite rooms, this Retreat is an absolute gem and a true haven of peace and Tranquility. The spa treatments are excellent and the healers are truly gifted and just amazing. I even loved the morning yoga and I have never been a yoga fan! My room was stunning and the bed and pillows were super comfy. Although I am not vegetarian or vegan,I loved the plant-based menu and every meal I ate at the restaurant was delicious. I absolutely loved my stay at Fivelements and I am already planning my return trip.:)

There was honestly nothing that I didn't like.

The stay was beautiful, the hotell lies just by the river in the jungle, with calm sounds of the river, birds and animallife. Very peaceful. Every morning there’s morning yoga at 8:00, before a vegan set menu breakfast. The staff are so polite and makes sure that you have the best possible stay. We tried both healing and massasge at the spa, and ecpesially enjoyed the sakti ritual massasge. The room was very beautiful and tidy, with an outdoor bathroom!! All in all a much reccomended stay.

There wasn’t a minibar at the rooms, so the water was warm. But you could Ask for one if you wanted to and we didn’t. And our room, Avcasa, was close to a pond which Made it smell a little in our room. The toilet was outside. The entire bathroom was. It was Nice, but also a bit idk

The check-in and the whole stay were excellent. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, a great introduction to Bali. Rooms are very good, and the whole hotel is very clean.

Some of the evening meals are a bit strange (but OK), and more annoyingly, not many hot meals. I tended to eat out where possible. However, breakfast was excellent, and the lunch selection was good. Please note that Vegetarian meals only.

The resort is nothing short of extraordinary. Excellent service, very friendly staff. A lot of nice touches like welcome fruits and a diary to write in. The facilities are superb, we had the most wonderful time just hanging by the pool. We used the shuttle service to Ubud regularly and participated in one of the offered activities as well. I was impressed by that extent of hospitality and service provided. I want to especially thank and compliment all of the wonderful staff that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would absolutely stay at fiveelememts again and recommend it to everyone considering a stay there.

They label themselves a plant-based resort. Please note that they are not vegan, which I don’t mind but a lot of vegan people are going to seek out this place for being plant-based. Unfortunately I consumed drinks with honey that were not pointed out to me containing animal products. I would appreciate it if there would be a way to avoid that. Also I felt rather uncomfortable with the pond inside the dining area. It is very small for the fish inside…

I stayed here alone for six nights for my 50th birthday while my husband and daughter traveled around Java. They returned and stayed with me one night. I really loved everything. Everything far exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious. Staff was incredibly friendly. The rooms and grounds were magical. The flower bath and Bali boreh massage were some of the highlights and the water healing treatment. I purchased a separate package through the hotel for these things. The fire ritual was also wonderful.

It would have been really nice to have a second yoga offering in the afternoon (not just the early morning). I would have done it every day if that was offered. Sometimes I felt a little pressure to do some of the massages that were just too intense or strong for me. Overall, it was one of the best resort/retreat experiences I have every had and was a great way to celebrate my 50th birthday.

Thank you, Fivelement staff. Everything was beyond good. This place should be renamed to Heaven. You will dive into kindness, spirituality, nature, health. Honestly, don't think twice, just do it, says someone who is picky. I will go back one day. Remember not to skip the complimentary yoga sessions every morning before breakfast.

The 5 course plant based dinner is very healthy and delicious but if you decide to eat at the hotel every evening, then some variety could be helpful (The breakfast and lunch menus change/have verities which is great.) That said I recommend eating there dinner one night (A MUST)) and then go explore Ubud: restaurants and dance shows, etc. Remember to download grab or gojek apps (uber-like apps).

The villas and gardens are beautiful and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and well maintained

It’s stated that the restaurant is plant based and was one of the reasons we chose to stay here, however most things on the menu contain honey even though it isn’t listed on the menu. So the choice of actual plant based food was limited to only a few things,however they where fresh and tasty. Also the prices of treatments in day spa are very expensive for Bali and where they same as we’d pay in Australia or Europe , which is fine if staff paid Australian or European wages

Everything! All the staff are so nice and friendly, they remember my name, even when I haven’t met them personal. They greet me by my first name! I also met the GM John and he is really kind too. I spent only two nights at the resort and didn’t even leave the resort ground to ubud centre!

Nothing really! Apart from maybe for breakfast bread provided was the healthy version! But I actually prefer the usual bread 😅 Also the shuttle could be provided more frequently but it’s ok in the end as I didn’t even end up venturing out to ubud centre since it was raining all the time during my stay.

Everything! It exceeded our expectations on all levels. The food was exceptional! every meal was fresh using high quality plant ingredients made with care. The ambience was serene, staff very friendly and accommodating, facilities so good you don’t need to go anywhere, gym, yoga, working space, pool, treatments. Plenty of optional activities too. A perfect retreat feeling refreshed and healthy well rested after our stay. Highly recommend will be back! Thank you.

Amazing suit, delicious fresh plant-based food, authentic spa treatments and rituals done by locals, calming and relaxing atmosphere throughout, friendly and respectful staff, clean and beautiful. What else could you ask for? There's really nothing negative or even neutral about this place in my opinion. If like us you wish to go to Bali for a tranquil retreat where you'll slow down from your busy day-to-day, then this one is a gem!
