We really enjoyed our stay at Alam Pracetha Bali and got to experience the traditional Balinese feeling. The host, Kevin, and his family were super super kind and extremely helpful right from the start of our stay to the end which made us feel welcomed and at home. Kevin was helpful with any questions we had and he was also really nice to chat with. You can also rent motorbikes from him and get help with any activities you want to do in Ubud area. His son was super kind when we arrived to the place and automatically helped us with our luggages without us even asking, same when we left. The rooms were nice with comfortable beds and big bathrooms. The breakfast was super tasty (especially the pancake) and the girl serving the food every morning was really sweet and kind which always put a smile on our face. The overall atmosphere of the place was calming and relaxing, perfect for people who are looking for a peaceful place to stay outside of central Ubud. We also really liked and appreciated that the water was free and refillable in the shared kitchen.

My stay was incredible. The attention from Kevi and Frisca was always kind, attentive, and very helpful with everything I needed. I traveled alone and felt safe, cared for, and supported the whole time, which made the experience even more special. The location is perfect for those who want to relax and get away from the chaos of Ubud’s center, but it’s still close enough to easily go out for a walk. The room is exactly as shown in the photos: spacious, bright, comfortable, and very cozy. Everything was spotless during my stay. I would definitely come back without hesitation. This place combines peace, comfort, and the kind of warm hospitality that truly makes a difference.

We found it to be truly exceptional. The atmosphere is amazingly relaxing. We were in the room next to the fishpond and could watch the fishes. All the facilities felt even better in reality than they look in the pictures. Also the breakfast was great and the owner was very friendly, which made the two nights there a perfect experience.

The driver did not find the homestay and we needed to ask the people on the street. At arrival the was no staff present and to get somebody we needed to pass some barking dogs. Which is not optimal, if you are afraid of dogs.

I stayed with a friend here for 5-nights total. It was super comfortable! There was plenty of space in the room equipped with our own private bathroom. The facilities were clean and the beds were comfortable. They provide towels for you without cost. The room has a ton of great storage options and they also have clothing hangers. They tidy your room upon request. They serve breakfast every morning from 8am-10am. They have a menu selection that you can choose from and you can message Kevin what you would like. They have a small shared kitchen area for guests where you can find a water dispenser and a small fridge. The place comes with a cute orange kitty you might be able to see roaming around. The location is in a nice and quiet neighborhood. I enjoyed staying here after hostel hopping for a month. This is a great way to spoil yourself without breaking the bank. They provide tours and activities as well. I did not know this until after booking all my tours so I recommend taking a look at what they have to offer. I attached an image of their services.

Just want to give a heads up to other travelers that our bathroom was only equipped with toothbrushes and bar soap. We used the bar soap for both hand and body wash. We brought our own shampoo and conditioner to use. There is no hair dryer. Additionally, it was a bit difficult to flag down staff members when we needed help. However, Kevin was incredibly responsive via WhatsApp and would send a staff out for help when requested!

The property is clean, breakfast is good but menu is a bit limited. The room does not have fridge and electric kettle. The property is about 30 minute drive from the city centre and the main means of transport is motor bike or taxi. Kevin (hotel owner) can organise renting bike with or without rider for you.

As a 3 star accommodation, the room should have had a small fridge and electric kettle. The breakfast area is made of glossy stone and is very slippery, a sign could help preventing people from slipping and hurting themselves.

What sets Alam Pracetha apart is the genuine hospitality of Kevin and his family. Their home feels like an extension of their lives, and they graciously welcomed me into their space. I particularly cherished the daily meditation sessions in their tranquil outdoor area. The home-cooked meals were a culinary delight, featuring fresh produce straight from their garden. The taste of their jackfruit brought back fond memories of my mother. It's these small touches that make Alam Pracetha truly special. If you crave a countryside retreat immersed in Balinese culture, look no further than Alam Pracetha. It's a place where you'll feel truly at home.

Very nice family business. After few days in Ubud staying close to the center, we wanted a more relaxed and cultural experience. No regrets! They have four rooms available in their family backyard. Everything very private and nicely setup. Cosy garden and common area for breakfast. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff received us very well and information on the breakfast and bike to rent. The breakfast was nicely prepared by the owner's daughter, simple but good. I would recommend this place and come back in the next visit.

Nothing much negatively about this place. I can mention that it's bit far from the centre of Ubud, which we knew before. For us it wasn't a big issue as first days in Ubud we stayed closer to the centre and we wanted to relax more. Also we rented a bike which makes things easier. Other small and easy-to-fix things were, no room service (making bed and changing towels), shower head support was broken, so we have to hold it at all times (this was an issue in other commomodations we stayed in Bali as well, maybe it's just how it is) and few rats outside in the garden.

- Alam Pracetha is a beautiful small guest house. Beautiful, clean rooms with comfy beds (harder mattresses) surrounded by incredible greenery. - Kevin (the owner) was always super nice and helpful, the rest of the staff are great as well. Always smiling :) - Every day we had a yummy breakfast (tea/coffee, lots of fresh fruits, eggs or pancakes). A small kitchen was convenient for making coffee, filling water bottles, storing food in a fridge, or even cooking. - Mind that the place is situated outside of Ubud. It takes around 15min by car/motorbike to reach the center, depending on traffic. Local app Grab or Gojek is helpful, or you can rent a bike. If you want a calm place, it's your go-to! I would love to come back :)

- Wifi is slow. If you need a fast internet connection for work, better find a cafe :) - It's not something I didn't like, but it would be super nice to have an outside space to chill (apart from a patio with table and chairs) - hammock or sunbed. - If you're a light sleeper bring earplugs - some bugs and water sounds from koi fish pond could be a bit loud.

Kevin and his entire family are such wonderful hosts! You’re welcomed to their property but you get treated like you’re apart of their family. Nothing is too much hassle for them, just ask! The breakfast that was provided every day was the perfect start to every day, greeted with smiles and love. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the room is serviced every few days for those staying for a longer time.. I stayed two weeks and was sad to leave. The bed is very comfortable and the air conditioning works very well. The property has well working WiFi throughout. If you’re looking for peace and calmness then this is for you, the property has many tropical plants and a koi pond which makes it very relaxing and oasis like. The main town of ubud is only a 16 min scooter ride. Which Kevin can help you organise if you need one, shops are with in 10mins drive and rice fields with in 10 mins walking. I travelled to north Bali to some waterfalls with in 45mins. I highly recommend Alma Pracetha to couples, solo travellers! Kevin and his family also help support a non profit where they help less fortunate people who are unable to provide for themselves so a portion of your stay goes to helping with that! I can’t wait to come back next year!!
