Everything was great. Everything I expected from Ubud was here. This is a very quiet and beautiful villa surrounded by sayan’s nature. There are no loud sounds or lights. Here you can just relax and enjoy rich nature. Privacy was maintained, the cleaning was perfect, and I was always able to spend my time comfortably. The hospitality of the hotel manager, Mr. Putu, is wonderful. This team and service at this hotel will truly excel. The shuttle to Ubud central runs 5 times a day and the pick-up times are very accurate. It was very helpful in crowded Ubud central . It was very helpful to be able to communicate with the staff through WhatsApp. If there is a slight problem, they will respond immediately. The views and programs in the spa are amazing. The all staff are also highly skilled and kind! Please believe everyone’s good reviews and stay here. You won't regret it. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the staff. Please continue to have great hospitality. Next time we will definitely stay longer.

It’s a very beautifully set hotel in private villas on a hill. The breakfast area is exceptional because you can look out onto a rice terrace with a forest view and mountain/hill in the background. The villas themselves are incredibly comfortable and clean. The staff are amazingly kind and attentive, ready at the willing to complete your wish! Felt a little bit like a queen! The food at Swept Away restaurant was good with a nice setting. Free shuttle into town and pick up.

It’s a little bit set back from the town and traffic can be a killer to get to and from. However if you are aware of this then you can adjust your timings accordingly so not really a problem.

Loved this place and wished we’d stayed longer. Staff were fabulous and happy to help with anything you needed. 100% recommend the spa which was amazing. Felt so relaxed after our treatment! Stayed in a hill side villa which was gorgeous and very private. Bathroom was stunning, and the complimentary afternoon tea was a lovely touch (would switch the ketchup offering for strawberry Jam though). Breakfast was tasty and had in our villa. It was my partner’s birthday and they made him a lovely little cake and made up a flower bath which was very generous of them. I also got a lovely little tote bag on leaving which I already adore. Would definitely recommend if in Ubud as it’s such a stunning place with wonderful staff.

Would have liked a full length mirror but a minor issue.

Self-contained with a pool. The housekeeping came immediately when there was a problem with the wooden floor. I like that the shower bathroom was lined with wood. Spa was great esp beside Ayung River. Breakfast was great too.

Wished there were more options for families and kids like trekking in the afternoon. The glass bottled waters were too tightly closed. Very hard to open. The swimming pool steps in the villa had a bit of mold. Can be better maintained.

Really calm and peaceful place for a perfect stay in Ubud. If you are looking for the luxurious villa property with full privacy, then it is a great place to stay. I will really rate it very high in terms of cleanliness and staff courtesy. Amazing people and thanks to Mr. Mahendra & his team for all the help and support. We enjoyed the river and scenic views. Shuttle service to the Ubud area was really helpful. Overall, I really liked the place and enjoyed our stay.

While everything was perfect, it is little far from the the Ubud market area and it may take some time due to traffic situations in the Ubud area. Also, I will recommend it for the couples but family with kids may feel little bore due to lack of kids club/activity center.

EXPERIENCE: Staying at the Samaya Ubud was the highlight of our two week vacation in Bali. All staff greeted us with warmth which made us feel welcomed and at home immediately. VILLA: We stayed in the one-bedroom Hillside Villa for 3 nights before extending for an extra night at the 2 bedroom Villa. The private pool was fantastic, clean and well maintained. The king size bed is extremely comfortable, the linens were clean and light, perfect for the warm climate. The bed is centred in the room, surrounded by large folding door windows, offering panoramic views of the garden during the day. The Jacuzzi bath tub is definitely a highlight in the bathroom. RESTAURANT:The views are stunning, the sounds of the river flowing offers a sense of calmness and the food is of great quality. YOGA: Great Instructor, was clear, friendly, and extremely encouraging when we were trying new positions and accommodating if we were unable to do a specific position. Could not have been more satisfied to have had my first ever yoga session at the Samaya. I will always remember this session, and would highly recommend to other beginners and/or yoga enthusiasts to give go. SPA:The spa treatment was brilliant and reasonably priced. The two masseurs were experienced, attentive and made us feel relaxed throughout the session. This was definitely one of our highlights from our stay. SERVICE: The highlight of our stay has to be the staff and service at The Samaya Ubud. You really get a sense that they put their guest’s needs first at all times. Right from the check-in process through the the check-out, every detail is well thought out with the guest in mind. There is a personal touch with the team at Samaya. The staff really go out of their way to know their guests by name, this made us feel really special.

Not much to add here, perhaps have insect repellent in the rooms.Beyond that, could not fault the team or the service at the Samaya Ubud.

The property had excellent customer service. They provided us with transportation, in room, and even celebrated my mother’s birthday with a cake!!! They were incredibly helpful and always ready to help us in any way. The villas were spacious and awesome especially the private pool! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Ubud.

Villa is spacious and well appointed. Pool and private grounds delightful. We intended to eat at different places during our stay, but the food at Samaya was so good we elected to eat on site throughout. Do not miss Swept Away during your stay - excellent food quality, presented beautifully in a stunning location by the river, and food is prepared in imaginative and novel combinations by an expert chef and his staff, and served by and equally expert front of house team. You may pay a bit more at The Spa than in the many other spas that abound in Bali, but it is in a great (and unique) location and the technicians are superb, so it certainly felt like good value to us. Only 15 minutes away from the bustle and chaos of Ubud centre, Samaya is an oasis of calm and tranquility. The whole Samaya experience was just right - great personal service, friendly staff, a lovely place to unwind and relax with as much privacy as you want (or not). My highest regards and thanks to all who work so hard (while making it look so effortless) to make this a stand-out experience for guests. We would not hesitate to return.

I shared a couple of minor housekeeping hiccups with the General Manager who I have every confidence will have them addressed.

I was welcomed by the entire Samaya Team when I arrived at the Hotel. The team welcomed myself and the family with Flower Neck Piece and Welcome drinks, Gifts for my Daughter and the most important aspect was the team spirit and large smiles that make you feel home. The restaurant facilities either for breakfast or diner are just amazing. I would like to thank the entire team and especially Wayan Angga, Komang Augustiana and Wayananch. Keep up the great job guys Great Job Samaya Team and keep it up.
