This resort is absolutely gorgeous. Set on the edge of open rice fields with manicured gardens, it has the most relaxing and peaceful vibe. We stayed for only one night in the 2 bedroom villa and despite not using the spa or gym facilities we still had a fabulous time. The villa was spotless and super comfortable. We had enough space for our family of four plus my parents in law to drop by and lounge around - the villa is well decked out with several day bed choices in the open space. We were surprised that even despite the open living set up, there were barely any mosquitoes or bugs bothering us, and it was breezy and cool. I also really appreciated the extra touches - plate of fresh fruits in the fridge, fully equipped kitchen (much better than some air bnbs we’ve stayed!) and water dispenser. The staff were kind, friendly and very attentive, especially with our kids. we didn’t want to leave!

The only thing I can think of is the window in the bedroom didn’t have a blackout blind, so we had the light from the villa next door shining in although it wasn’t too bad as it was a powdered window.

The resort is amazing! I liked everything but specially the quite, pool and the room. The room was large, comfortable and well decorated. There are two pools and a beautiful surroundings. Massage, restaurant and yoga classes were a good addition to our stay. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Our room was behind the restaurant so we could hear all the noise as blender and chairs at 6:00am. But the staff was very nice moving us to another room. The location is a little bit far from the Ubud centre. A car cannot access the resort, so we needed to take a buggy to a drop off point and a cab from there. The resort offers shuttle three times per day what is very helpful. However, the rice field and nature surrounding the place are beautiful and it worth staying there.

personal was awesome. best since last 3 months in Bali. Hany is a wonderful women. she helped us always with our small baby and made a wonderful offering class!

while checking out the staff needed 30 minutes to check the room and also told that we stole a laundry bag and 2 hangers for clothes. they asked to pay for that. actually hangers were broken and of course we don’t need a Landry bag. we refused to pay. very silly action for such a good hotel. that’s why 9/10.

Special thanks to Boy for our amazing one day’s excursion, to Tirta for many delicate attentions, to Emik, Hanny and Putu for usual friendly conversations, to Dwi, Kadek and all others persons (sorry if I didn’t keep all your names) and of course to Mr Arka for all your efficiency and professionalism. Beautiful Resort im the rice field. When we walked from the Reception to the villa we passed tiny rice fields inside the resort - that was so awesome to walk bye. Even though we had issues with the water pressure jn the first villa, we could move to another villa - which we loved from the first second. The two bedroom villa was very beautiful, cozy & had enough space for 4 people to hang out in the outside area. Thank you to Bandi, the shift manager who solved the issue quickly & made our stay so relaxing. Also the whole staff was so friendly & kind. Would definetly come back. Thank you for having us.

Absolutely amazing place with amazing staff especially nova, we stayed for 3 days and had 2 trips with nova who made our stay so welcoming and really made our holiday not only showed us around but explained everything not once did he leave us looking for something such an amazing guide even brought us breakfast one morning from a local market that we talked to him that we would love to try such an amazing guy the hotel is lucky to have him aswell as the rest of the staff who were also so welcoming and polite. Food is excellent especially breakfast. Location is so peaceful.

Only thing would be large bottles of water available for sale absolute minor thing but that is all I can think off

The location was beutiful with a lovely garden with small ricefields. The staff were so friendly and all services like check in and our went smothly, even if we had made changes there were no problems at all. As someone mentioned in earlier reviews you have to spend some time at the buggy going to and from the pickup point but if you know it and dont have to tight schedule it is a nice ride. We have a teenager but I guess families with small children will find it fun with this transport, along ricefields. The room were spotless and the beds comfortable. High standard. I read someone had problems with noices at night. I would say that if you are in the countryside there will always be some noice from drogs, insects, chickens, dogs etc ( and perhaps even rats they are everywhere even at Home). For that you can not blame the Hotel. This Said, we were not trubbeled by any noice at any times. We absolutly loved this place . We recomend everyone that want a calm and beutiful stay to go here.

The only thing that could be improved is the water cleanness in the pool and maybe the breakfast taste.

The property is beautifully put together. It is in the middle of a gorgeous field and very close to the city center. The bed is comfortable.The room/resort amenties are great. The highlight was the staff, they are super helpful, very professional ,always smiling and greeting the guests with full enthusiasm. We were drenched in the rain after our checkout but they were really accomodating and provided us with every possible assistance. Special mention to the duty manager Mr Pande Ardika for his assistance. Would definately recommend to others and visit again.

I liked that the hotel is away from the busy streets and cars of Ubud. It's lovely and peaceful amongst beautiful rice paddies. After a bit of exploring I discovered a few other places along the road into the property to eat and/or grab a drink. The shuttle bus into the main street was very handy. No cars can come up to the hotel so taxis will drop you at the meeting point and staff will come down to pick you up. This worked very well. It is also within walking distance if you didn't have to carry a case. The massages and treatments were very good. They supplied free water which was fantastic and also the option to have room service was good. Nice to sit out on your own verandah to eat as the sun was setting over the rice paddies. Breakfast was included in my room rate, that was very good with lots of choices.

I would have liked a map perhaps of things in the local area that I could have walked to visit but that's not a reflection on the hotel, I just didn't look at the surrounding attractions before I arrived.

It was a pleasant experience staying at Arya Arkananta. The reservation office communicated effectively about how to get to the property and was able to inform or direct guests on how to reach the hotel's drop-off zone. They provide a buggy to transport guests from the drop-off zone to the hotel. The hotel's location is excellent. It's surrounded by greenery, with a live paddy field inside the property. During twilight, you can even see fireflies in the paddy field or empty land not far from the hotel. Additionally, the bed is comfortable, the toiletries smell good, and the water pressure is good. The hotel also adopts an eco-friendly approach by using no plastic; instead, guests are provided with refillable glass bottles. Before we arrived, the hotel informed us that there was a double booking with other guests for the room we had reserved. Hence, they upgraded our accommodation from a one-bedroom room to a villa with a private pool. On top of that, they also offered us discounts for the restaurant and spa, as well as a complimentary tea time. I really appreciated their handling of the situation.

What could be improved is ensuring that everything is prepared before guests arrive. There was a minor issue with the key to our villa; however, they managed to resolve it quickly.
