Nice accommodation with attention to detail and decor. Beautiful jungle surroundings and a nice pool

It is located quite a walk from Ubud center and with the very busy traffic taking a taxi is not really much quicker. The hotel is at the end of a street where only pedestrian and scooters can access (10-15 min walk). It is a nice little path with some restaurants and shops on it though. This makes it a little bit of a trek to get to the sights in Ubud, but Penestanan itself is a nice area

Lovely, peaceful place, indeed overlooking a jungle setting with unending calming sounds of moving water from the river. Staff was wonderful, (Ketut was so kind and supportive), room was clean, comfortable. Having lived in Bali for many year, visiting on uncountable visits thereafter, The Jungle Family Villa is a wonderful place to stay, away from the craziness of central Ubud, yet close to everything.

All the info on booking.com is accurate, and it only gets better once you show up in person. There was always an abundance of water and kindness, with everyone being interested in our experience. The gardens were astounding and the stars were bright. The room was very temperate and breakfast was delicious! I cannot wait to return and swim again :) thank you!!

Very nice manager and her team, prepare to help and find the best solutions! She chose the best driver (her uncle) for the trips around Ubud. The team tried all the time to help guests in their Villas.

Loved our 2 day stay at the jungle villa, it’s clean, beautiful and peacefulated a little off the road so a little walk is involved, but nothing too crazy. plus they help you with your luggage.

The place was quiet and nice. And the hosts were perfect, kind and really nice !!

The views were nice with the jungle and swimmingpool. Also nice place to sit in front if the house.

Dirty bedsheets, empty fridge and nothing to buy from them. No service; no cleaning rooms or ánything like that. Only saw 2 employees in 2,5 days; for checking in and breakfast, which took way too long. Whilst very sick I had to check out, wanted to stay a bit longer as being sick. Asked through booking chat since I couldn’t find anyone. No response. So with 39degrees fever I had to leave the apartment myself and carry all luggage at once, without seeing a single face.
