The villa was very comfy and cosy. The villa facilities were. also very good and adequate during our stay. The staff were also very helpful and accommodating to make us feel at home. The food selections were also good and rasty.

The location is quite far from the nearest restaurants and shopping area.

During our recent visit to Ubud, Bali, we had the pleasure of staying at Candy Villas by Pramana during 4 nights. The location of the hotel was a major highlight for us. Situated outside the bustling center of Ubud, it provided a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Though there were some scooters passing by, we quickly got used to them, as they are quite common in Bali. The breathtaking views of lush rice fields with children flying their kites added a touch of authenticity to the surroundings. Moreover, having a few restaurants within walking distance was convenient, even though the choice of eateries in the immediate neighbourhood was limited. Nonetheless, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as the restaurants we did try served exceptional food (Good Day, Takir restaurant). The villa itself was an idyllic retreat. Offering ample privacy and tranquility, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The fact that the rooms were only cleaned upon request proved to be ideal for days when we wanted to relax and stay at the villa, giving us complete control over our schedule. The well-maintained garden with its lush greenery and plants added to the beauty of the place, creating a refreshing and calming ambiance. Our rooms were also fantastic, equipped with all the essentials to ensure a comfortable stay. The service was top-notch. From the moment we arrived, we experienced warm hospitality, exemplified by the efficient airport pickup service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, which made us feel truly valued as guests. We definitely recommend this villa to anyone seeking a green and calm villa experience, away from the hustle and bustle, and immersed in the natural beauty of Bali's countryside. It's an oasis that we would love to return to on our future visits to this enchanting island.

Candy Villas was an incredibly relaxing place to stay. It is slightly out of Ubud centre, though easy enough to reach by car when needed. We found Ubud centre to be very busy and bustling but Candy Villas was like retreating to a distant sanctuary. The staff were very helpful with escorting us around in a buggy when necessary. We stayed in a villa with private pool which was incredible. Everything was very clean and incredibly comfortable. We really enjoyed our meals at the Good Day restaurant and bar. I had an amazing massage at the Good Day spa next door. The staff are all extremely friendly and accommodating. We would definitely come back here and recommend to others!

Unfortunately there is quite a bit of construction noise, though Candy Villas likely cannot help that. A bit more variety on the menu for the restaurant would be nice. The food is also a bit pricey and some are small portions but that is expected at a resort.

Private pool was great. The ambience was a vibe, having all the amenities in the outside with the lovely settings of plants and flowers was calming. Great restaurant onsite with shared pool and the massages at the spa were very good. In a lovely setting private and quiet away from the hustle of ubud center. In the middle of rice fields. Villas provided transport to a sister restaurant called UNAME which provided exceptional food and service with a live singer. Staff were fantastic and very accommodating. Moskito net over bed provided was a nice touch. Use of buggy to drop off point at anytime.

Aircon wouldn’t work effectively as the sliding doors wouldn’t close properly. As all kitchen and bathroom is outside, when was raining was stuck in the bedroom. Couldn’t shower. If you are using the toilet the villa next door can hear and bug crawling around your feet/ get wet if raining. LOTS of moskitos and unavoidable as majority of living space is outside and three doors to different areas of the villa meant they even got inside. Shared pool area was full of children (normally not a problem as we have a child, but this time on our honeymoon). Spa jacuzzis were broke so couldn’t use the package we wanted. Too far to walk anywhere like shops ect but not an issue as taxis available.

the ambience and the beauty of the space were next level! I enjoyed the greenery and the quite atmosphere. the staff was polite and always smiling. they were kind and helpful in all senses.AC worked fine.

the washrooms in both the rooms in our Chocolate Villa had old tiles with stains in many of them. So, it made the appearance of the washrooms dirty and unclean. i would request the owners to put new tiles or do something about the stains as it spoils the beauty of the whole villa. Secondly, due to the constant humid weather of the area, the fan speed was not regulated and it only stuck at one constant SLOW speed. So, please install fans with a much higher speed to beat the humidity.

The villa itself was lovely. The pool fantastic . Beautiful place. It would be a 10 out of 10 if they had a smart TV, and a softer bed (it was very hard and woke up with a sore back and struggled to sleep ) The hot water wasn't working , however it was very hot so didn't mind. Aside from that beautiful place. Nice and private and the gardens around the villas were beautiful and the resturand and main pools vere very cool. Just need to change the bed and upgrade the tv and this place would be absolutely amazing.

We stayed in the Pear villa and it was lovely having our own pool and outdoor bath! The setting amongst the rice paddies is so tranquil and peaceful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My husband was happy with how easy it was to hire a scooter to take us into Ubud and the freedom it allowed us to explore ourselves. Another highlight was having massages in our room, organised by the front staff on short notice one evening.

It would be nice to have pool towels provided in addition to your bathroom towels.

We were group of 3 friends staying for 4 days at 2 bedroom vila. Rooms are spacious and clean. They miss better lighting since at night it is quite hard to see anything around the room in the dimmed light. Toilets could be better isolated since they attract lots of insects due to humidity which then traspass to the bedroom. Everything is wooden and quite rustic which holds great charm since you have a nice jungle expirience. Sounds of nature are present through the day (birds, frogs, ducks). All vilas have private kitchen and small private pool which is one of the best assets. We took option with brekfast which was basic and delivered straight to vila in the morning hours. If required, there is a restaurant in the premises serving different menus. There is shuttle service 3 times per day driving to the center of Ubud. Also tours can be booked through them. Staff was friendly and helpful to all our needs. Shuttle is required to pick you up upon arrival since the car can't go all the way to the reception in order to check in, you'll need to call them to pick you up from the gate. Good value for the price and good expirience. Great for few days escape to Ubud.

Another amazing location by Pramana, chose this place for Nyepi cos it is a private villa, with cooking stove to cook for Bali New Year and a private swimming pool for entertainment on Silence Day. Even though there are quite a lot villas here but each one is seperately private entrance. The reception provides motorbike rental, 80k a day just a little bit higher than street price to save you the hassle. The room is spacious, beautiful environment, an in Bali, of course you need a transportation of your own. And we chose motorbike. What's more. We had been talking to the hotel long before asking about to join the local activity, and they went out their way to help us and put us in contact with the Banjar Kutuh community. Mr. Kadek helped me to find Citta and arranged everything silk smooth. And voila. A lot of big hotels won't bother doing that for their customers. It was raining and cloudy always during Nyepi, and guess what, there was a 3 hour window at the night of Nyepi and there was a milky way on the sky after midnight I guess a lot of people missed!!! The full Balinese New Year experience.

The design of the villa was perfect for our stay. We loved having a private pool and bath in the bathroom. The staff were so friendly and their kindness was probably the highlight of our trip. Any time we needed anything we were able to communicate through WhatsApp and they answered instantly. Due to the location of the villa being down a few narrow paths, the villa staff used a buggy to take us to and from the drop point for the free shuttle bus. The villa was pretty close to the Ubud city centre and was only a 15 minute shuttle bus drive away.

Whilst we were there it was really hot and humid. We had the aircon and fan on almost all day, the strength of the aircon and fan wasn’t the strongest but it was not the end of the world for us.
