As the price was very low, we had low expectations, but we shouldn't have. It was the nicest little hotel! The grounds are so peaceful and lovely with the greenery, the pond and the pool. The room is very nice and had a nice shower and everything was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is located in a small street with no car, but the staff picked us up/dropped us off with a buggy. And for daily exploring, one can take the stairs to the main street or the little walking paths along the irrigation channels. Lots of little cafés and restaurants nearby.

The mattress was a bit hard for my liking, but this is very personal.

Location was great especially views from the rooftop. Tranquil area with nice outlook from the balcony. Staff were very helpful each time I made a request. I stayed at the same hotel last year and noticed they have made small improvements to their rooms (eg. repairing areas where needed). This is a positive sign that the property owner is constantly reviewing and improving the condition of the rooms and facilities. Please keep this up.

The water pressure is often quite low in the shower. The hot water takes a long time to turn on. Would be good if these areas can be improved.

Really loved everything about this place! So much so that I extended my stay ☺️ It’s far enough from the main hub of Ubud that you don’t hear any of the noise or traffic. Yet still close enough that you can take a short 10-15min walk (depending on fitness levels) into town whenever you want (or a super cheap Gojek) The lush green gardens are beautiful and so peaceful with the sounds of the water from the koi pond. They do a great breakfast at a great price too! The street also has a number of Warung’s that you can eat at for dinner with super tasty food! The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend to stay here if you want to still be close to town but want the peace of being out of town. Thought I would also mention that the property is only accessible by their buggy, no cars can access the property. It’s really no issue, I was travelling with a surfboard and they got me there fine. But I just wanted to mention incase it’s an issue for others ☺️

There isn’t really anything I didn’t like about this property. The only things that I found were a VERY MINOR inconvenience were that the water refill station was in the kitchen so I could only access it if the staff were in the kitchen. The bed was very firm which I don’t mind at all but some people may find this off putting.

The room was a good size with shelves for clothes, an electric jug, comfortable bed, a cooling pump, sufficient power points, lovely bathroom, and screens. The fish pond and pool made a beautiful setting - wear bug repellent. You could cool off by dipping into the pool anytime. They have an electric cart so you don't have to drag your bags up and down the walking trail where Hidden Padma is located. Close to great restaurants, massage, and markets, yet very quiet. Lovely breakfast.

Well worth the effort to get there, if you ring the hotel they pick up, by golf buggy, no car access. Past the meeting shelter ( like a bus stop) . It’s a retreat , so beautiful surroundings, and away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud town centre. Will not be disappointed if you put the effort in . Access by motorcycle so far and handy to get about , but we don’t like motorcycles, little shop opposite for basics and they do takeaways, excellent value .

Excellent value for money. Tucked away from the main road, it is wonderfully peaceful. To get there, they'll send you a meeting point and then arrange a buggy car ride to the hotel. The room was clean and while the design is a bit dated, it didn't bother me. There's even a great coffee shop right out front.

The only minor drawback is the stairs you need to go to reach the main road, a bit of a workout.

I loved the quietness of the location, the pool, the staff always willing to help with a smile and the privacy.

The only thing I would suggest is that water be available in reception to fill our own bottles. I did not like the excessive plastic wastage in the 2 small bottles provided daily. I loved the coffee from the shop at the front.

The staff are always full of smiles and it made my stay so warm and welcoming. Location of the hotel is nested among nature and I wake up to the sound of crickets and also spotted squirrels at my balcony. I am here for yoga and a good studio is located 3 mins away, so it was perfect for morning practices. They helped clean the room everyday and kept it spotless. If anything isn’t spotted in the room like blanket and hairdryer, do ask the staff and they could get it ready (:

They are a little hidden from the main road, only accessible by scooter and foot. You will have to access the main street through Penestanan stairs, which is honestly a climb back up and dark past 7pm.

Perfect location - close to everything in Ubud yet very quiet and peaceful on a lovely street. Zest and Alchemy is 5min walk. Amazing tropical garden with a very nice pool. Loved my room by the pool where I stayed for 1 week. It’s not accessible by car, but they provide complementary transfer to the pickup location.

There is no sun in pool area in the morning.

The property is beautiful and peaceful, set in lush, tranquil gardens, overlooking a gorgeous pool, and pond the gardens are beautifully taken care of. There is a delicious breakfast available every morning and a fabulous coffee kiosk attached to the front, the staff are so lovely, helpful and gracious.
