Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet location. Very private and relaxing and clean pool area with two sun lounges. Lovely semi open bathroom. Good WiFi. I was able to stream movies with no issue. Convenient location. Several restaurants within 5 min walk. Ubud town approx 30 min walk.

Not criticisms, but be aware: 1 - Cars cannot drive all the way to the reception area. Last 30m only accessible by scooter or by foot (but it's a very easy walk). 2 - TV in room only has Youtube (not other streaming apps), so if you want to use streaming services, make sure you have a laptop or tablet.

Staff was really nice, they provide good massage, the location was perfect, the pool was clean.

The breakfast selection was poor and it wasn’t really tasty, we went out for breakfast couple of times even though we paid for breakfast at villa. We had to order breakfast everyday the day before and we could only select the whole breakfast menu, which wasn’t really made well, they had 6 of them and 3 were rice or noodles with chicken, which is not something tourists will eat. They were asking everyday about cleaning the room instead of cleaning it, which made it a bit uncomfortable to ask for cleaning all the time. The location is good, but it’s in a dark alley which is quite scary to walk in the night, and it’s right next to a cock farm, so you can hear them all the time, which can be annoying if you have to stay at villa when you feel sick.

The villa was absolutely amazing. Everything looks like the pictures. The room was lovely and the swimming pool was perfect. The staff was friendly and super helpful with everything you need. A couple of times we had things planned before breakfast time and they gave us a breakfast pack to go so we can bring it with us. The location was super good, very quite and close to the centre (10 min by Grab to the centre). In regards to the roosters, is it true you can hear them sometimes, but only sometimes and they didn’t bother us at all. The staff was very apologetic about it but were don’t think is a big deal. If you want to enjoy Ubud but have a quiet relaxing place to chill, this is your place to stay.

Beautiful villa. Very private and romantic. Pool was very clean and the rooms were refreshed 2 times a day. The staff are wonderful, very attentive and will go above and beyond for their guests. If you hire a bike it’s only 10 minutes from central Ubud. Staff were great in helping us hire a bike and recommending places to go. You can even order massages to your room. The only problem was how loud the chickens and roosters are next to the villa. They provided earplugs for this noise and were very apologetic. This is not their fault but it definitely makes it a true local experience. I absolutely loved this villa and would return. Bagas is one of the staff members at the villa. He is a lovely person and extremely helpful. He is very friendly and always makes sure the guests feel safe and happy. Thankyou for everything Bagas, we will see you again soon!!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at De Metra Vila! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The vila itself was stunning, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The service desk employees went above and beyond (24/7) to ensure we had everything we needed for an unforgettable stay, from recommending the friendliest taxi drivers to arranging incredible day tours. Amazing place to stay. It has the real authentic Bali Ubud experience. Tucked away and not near the busy traffic. Staff were amazing to me and they helped in any way possible. Must try the Indonesian breakfast they provide, the best I have had! The villa coordinator Bagas was the best, he made sure I had everything I needed and help me organise trips, food and everything in between.

The villa doesn’t do a dinner service BUT they were amazing at helping get what ever you wanted delivered if you didn’t feel like hitting the streets to find food.

The Villa was located about 2km from the very busy Ubud centre. The Villa is down a small track so it was quiet and peaceful. It has everything you need and the staff were exceptional. The facilities were good, pool, kitchen area, comfortable beds and a great bathroom area. We would certainly come back again. Great value for money

Spacious and beautiful place to stay

The villas have a jungle inside, if you are okay living with bugs, lizards , frogs and slugs it is amazing. Most frustrating thing is they charge you for the water when you are leaving. Not a big amount but it is not nice charging something that they didn’t mention. Overall I can say the property is very expensive considering those.

It was a little trek to main part of ubud, but could easily grab a scooter and be there quickly. The villa was situated away from roads so was very quiet

We were staying in the villa and really enjoyed our time. The room was as it was described. The staff were really helpful and nice. The architecture and the plants made a nice atmosphere. The villa location was near services like laundry and a small grocery store. To Ubud central you can get there quickly by taxi.
