Beautiful and peaceful location with an exceptionally professional, helpful, and friendly staff—always available and attentive to every request. The on-site restaurant is excellent, with well-made cocktails and a solid mix of local and Western dishes. The garden studio was spacious, clean, and equipped with effective air conditioning. The massage service was very good, and boats can even pick you up directly in front of the hotel for dolphin-watching trips. Exceeded all expectations. Highly recommended.

The Wi-Fi was spotty and not very fast. A minor inconvenience overall, but I’d recommend using a data eSIM if you need reliable connectivity i.e., for online meetings or streaming.

We had a great time at Mayo the staff is amazing so friendly and with great hospitality! The rooms are spacious and clean the pools are great and the garden is beautifully maintained! The food is delicious and the restaurant have a great sunset view. If you want quite and relaxing place i highly recommend Mayo resort! Shout out to the server at the restaurant Arta he is so great and friendly it made our stay more enjoyable!

Everything was great. Just an advice for the owners, if they are holding meeting (just because someone was complaining about mixed orders)with the staff during busy dinner time while they sitting on the table and all the staff standing,just advice to do it in private place it looked disrespectful.

The resort is excellent for people who value peace, quiet, comfort and quality. The only thing that catches the eye with such good quality are worn towels and bed linen. These two elements, not insignificant but have a great impact on the feeling of comfort, because you feel like you are sleeping under unclean bed linen and drying yourself with a dirty towel. Time for a change. Please treat this as a good tip for maintaining the standard. The restaurant needs changes, the prices are too high for the quality of the dishes offered. I still give the resort 10 out of 10 asking for a refresh.

We had the pleasure of staying at this resort for our honeymoon, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was absolutely stunning – beautifully designed, spacious, and very comfortable. We also loved spending time by the pool, which was clean, well-maintained, and offered a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant was another highlight of our stay. The variety and quality of the dishes were outstanding, with a special mention for the local cuisine. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Highly recommended!

Nothing, just a small suggestion for the host: the rowing boat offered for free rental to guests could be improved by adding the missing oarlock (the metal structure that secures the oar to the boat), making it easier to use.

Absolutely perfect! Nothing to complain about, the Villa is all very well, the pool facing the sea very pleasant. The staff was exceptional. Access to the beach is direct, no walking or detours. The hotel restaurant and its cocktails are great for both local and Western dishes. Absolutely perfect 10/10 without hesitation, I'll be back as soon as possible! Yes, the hotel isn't in the city, but for relaxation, enjoyment and peace and quiet, it's exceptional!

I wish I could have stayed longer! Apart from a problem of understanding on arrival which was sorted out in a few minutes, nothing to complain about. Reactive and exceptional staff.

Beautiful rooms on a great location. We had both a studio and a family suite. The family suite can take 5 and is HUGE! If we had known we only needed that. The view is amazing and the on site restaurant is good too. If you want to eat somewhere else there is a great restaurant for locals and one for tourists just down the beach. The one for locals has live music a few nights a week

You need a car to get anywhere and as itbis Indonesia: there is a lot of plastic on the beach. And a small thing the Rain shower in both rooms need replacement.

It’s very quiet and serene. The beach is just steps away from the resort! Great place for silent retreat! No distractions! I would also like to commend the Staff at Mayo! From the front office; to the housekeeping; gardeners are so polite and friendly! You just feel so welcome in their resort! The restaurant staff - Lina; Putu and the team are great! They always greet you cheerfully and serve you with smile despite being short handed in the restaurant! Great team! Thank you for your service! I will be back again if time permit!

We absolutely loved our stay at the resort. The Villa was so perfect with the beautiful décor, well maintained garden and pool and the ocean view. There is nothing nicer than listening to the sound of the sea. The staff were so friendly and a helpful and nothing was ever too much. If we needed anything organised it was done staff were happy to help, from tours, to trips to organisisng my birthday celebrations. My husband and i had the most relaxing holiday. I would highly recommend a stay here and I would absolutely recommend the privacy of the villa

For us the location was perfect! Kids loved the pool and playing at the pingpong table. Quiet, very nice view over the ocean. Dolphin watching by our own. No other boats around us. And staff is very very friendly. In the restaurant they make delicious food, cocktails and breakfast. But if you like to be in a more crowded surrounding, like Lovina, this is not the place to be. Nice and friendly local people/ fisherman’s also on the beach to chat with. We loved our stay here.

WiFi is not that good. And the beach is very dirty. A lot of plastic on the beach and in the ocean.

Very quiet location directly at the beach. The sand is black and not completely clean but it was very calm water and if you go deeper there are some corals and fish (the hotel gives snorkeling equipment but you may not find the right size - water shoes are required!). There is a swimming pool, nice and clean. Very large rooms, with nice furniture, it looks like most of them have a sea view. Restaurant on site and at least one decent warung in a walking distance. For more you need to get a scooter or a car (the hotel can arrange the taxi). There is enough variety for breakfast and some western and local dishes for lunch/dinner. The quality is good although the service is a bit slow. In general everything looks well but here and there there are signs of damage by time and water. It didn't bother us. It is a good place if you want to relax by not doing anything special. The most noice you can hear at night is from geckoes.

The location is remote. There is not much you can see in the walking distance.
