very relaxing - away from the chaos that you find in many places in bali. The staff is exceptionally kind and helpful especially Billy who truly made our trip and took amazing care of us- the Villa is lucky to have him. You need a scooter to get around but they will help arrange that (there is a grocery story and one restaurant within walking distance) we loved the semi outdoor bathroom and the pool and sweet dogs. we doubled the length of our stay here because we liked it so much

Stayed here for three nights and had such a lovely time. The room was super clean and cozy — they cleaned it every day, which I really appreciated. My favorite part? Definitely the bathroom! It had such a calming vibe that instantly put me in a good mood. The villa’s pool was also spotless and perfect for a quick dip. Getting around was super easy with Grab, and when I needed help with short rides nearby, the staff would kindly take me on a bike — seriously, so thoughtful and helpful! Everyone at Jiwana was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always greeting me with a smile. I’m genuinely thankful for their hospitality. If I ever come back to Uluwatu, I’d stay here again for sure. 💛

Jiwana is an oasis of peace and tranquility. This place has a very Balinese feel and, as a budget traveller, I felt it was of very good quality. There are even bathrobes and slippers to use! Everything about the villa just works to create comfort. It's spacious, the furnishings are lovely, the bed was super comfy and the indoor outdoor bathroom was functional and beautiful. The bathroom is mostly undercover, just the plants along the wall get a good soak when it rains. There was plenty of space to unpack and lots of surfaces to organise my stuff. The heavy curtains ensured a good level of darkness for sleep. The outdoor seating was another positive feature. The gardens are immaculate and the pool had steps and a ladder, and it was a good temperature. Not too warm and not too cold. There is a water dispenser set up in the lobby for refilling your bottles. Which is so handy. The location is really quiet, but if you listen really closely, you might hear some motorbikes going by, but it's really on a side road. It's a few minutes walk to a supermarket and a couple of warungs. Wooden House warung is 950m and served up a very tasty meal. I walked there, but Grab taxies are plentiful. This was a great start to my month in Bali, and has proven to be a hard act to follow.

The restaurant is not functioning, but I can understand that and there really are some great places nearby.

The best of our experience there was Billy! Thanks to him our stay was awesome. We could say it has been one of the best hotels in where we have been. Since the first moment to entry you can feel the good vibes (we fell in love with the entrance incense). Room big, nice and cleaned every day. The toilet is awesome. This place is this kind of places that even the body soap smells nice. Our room had a lovely view, in front of the swimming pool but with a lot of privacy. We couldn’t ask for more! Also there is a supermarket in 100m and a vegetarian/vegan italian restaurant.

Maybe it is a little far from the city, but we knew it before. No complains. We miss the kitchen open. We hope they open it soon! But the worst is that we couldn’t stay more!! ;)

We loved our stay here. Well equipped and nicely furnished bungalows. Lush greenery, very clean pool. The location might feel quite isolated for some people, for us it worked great though. It’s a 10 minutes drive to Melasti, approx 30 minutes drive to Balangan, Uluwatu and other nearby beaches (easily booked via Gojek). Due to the restaurant being closed, we ate at D Warung and Made Bakery (both reasonably priced with excellent quality food). There’s some other options 10 minutes walk from the place.

The mosquito net would be useful.

The place its a little paradise to relax and to enjoy holidays without stress or noise. With moto ( they will help you with the moto rental), you can enjoy the area ( 10 min to Melasti Beach), and you will find peace and nature after your day. We loved our balcony and to enjoy the swimming pool in the morning just with the sound of nature. The staff its super friendly, always trying to provide everything they you need. Thank you to all the staff, always with a smile and super friendly to us.

Beautiful bungalow, pool, and overall amazing facilities with a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. The receptionists were outstanding - so friendly, kind, helpful and always greeting me and checking how I was getting on

The location is slightly remote, and when I first arrived my bungalow door wouldn’t lock properly, though it was fixed within a few hours, which I appreciated! There was also a dog howling and barking very loudly one night, which was a bit disruptive

My home away from home. It is not the first time staying at Jivana resort. I loved it first time, I did it again when we returned and we will go once again at the end of our trip. It is just lovely, the staff is really nice, very clean, the pool is just great to relax and the location - perfect for my needs. Close to the south beaches (around 12 min by scooter) / 30 min to west uluwatu. Pepito market walkable distance and a 5 min scooter to closest place to eat. Would definitely recommend it .

Everything was absolutely amazing! Billy, Meci, Fenny, Susan, and Eman — it says a lot that I still remember all their names — made our vacation truly unforgettable. The service was outstanding, among the best I’ve ever experienced. Our room was cleaned daily, the pool was fantastic, and the whole atmosphere let you fully embrace the Bali vibe. We stayed for 5 nights, and honestly, I wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended!

Everything in the villa is very lovely, cozy and well arranged. Best part is that you can relax and it is not crowded, good for a self-retreat. It is not close to bars or restaurants and it requieres transportation to go to eating places, as breakfast is not served as they are changing their kitchen. It would be even more amazing when they re-open the kitchen.

I would have given a 10/10 to this place if food was available. Few drinks are offered to buy, but more variety can be an asset
