+ The Design: breezy, full of greeneries. Even if you do not have views from your room, seeing the creepers outside and along the corridors are relaxing. + The Sustainability Concepts: since opening, the property is consistent in their sustainability efforts. Kudos! + The Location: right at Prawirotaman, enough said. + The Service: great hospitality from the staff, a standard you expect from higher-end properties.

- The Maintenance: some parts of the interior (sliding doors, wardrobe partition, the flooring, etc) start showing its age. I understand the usage of cheap(er) materials to keep the hotel rate down, however, it is starting to deteriorate, fast. Some of the water (or Aircon?) pipes on top of the corridor are dripping, make it even more slippery.

The pool is really nice with all the greenery. The rooms are small but comfortable and the bed is really comfy. The staff is very friendly and helpfully. A lot of restaurants and cafes around by walking distance.

We opted for breakfast outside the hotel even tho we had paid for it because it didn’t look very inspiring.

Without a doubt, this was the best place I've ever stayed in - A calm sanctuary in the middle of a fantastic yet bustling city. The staff were all so lovely and welcoming making me feel very much at home 🌟 I had the best sleep here that I've had so far on my travels with the most comfortable bed and environment. The whole place is very clean, eco friendly and even has a beautiful smell to it. Facilities were outstanding - a swimming pool in amongst beautiful green cascades of plants; delicious food at the restaurant with a nice atmosphere created by smooth saxophone music and scenery. A highlight for me was their tea spa massage options - this is a paid extra but fantastic value and incredibly relaxing with highly skilled and professional staff! There are also very comfortable spaces for reading and writing in ambient spaces. I loved my stay here so much that I considered extending my stay in Yogyakarta for longer just to stay here!.. but the travels must continue Thank you so much ❤️

The uniqueness of the hotel makes it special. You have to try the massage it's really good and really cheap too. The location is okay, there is a street with a lot of restaurants but for everything else you need to take grab which is okay.

The bathroom was dirty with some hair when we arrived. Also some facilities like the toilet paper holder is really old and crusty with metal so could be dangerous and they only give one toilet paper roll, it's usual etiquette to give two so we had to ask for more.

Yogyakarta - cultural center of Java, filled with workshops, galleries, a culinary paradise, extremely friendly locals, famous temples, agricultural wonders, vibrant city, youthful, where harmony, art and culture strives, dynamism on the streets, markets, and art studiosl. Famous for its shopping streets of well made clothes, accessories, batiks, jewelry, art. Take a ride with a friendly becak ready to take you wherever you want to go. Yogyakarta is well known for its temples, but for me, magnificent street art. Its ornate royal complex encompasses the Sultan’s Palace, within, numerous open-air pavilions and baths, that host classical Javanese concerts of gamelan music of gongs, chimes. Afternoon thunderstorms are a blessing, the prayer chants apease the soul throughout the day, the city exhudes life! So glad to have had this opportunity!

I stayed at Greenhost for a week, primarily passing the time waiting for certain appointments I had made. It was a wonderful place to just relax--room service, the restaurant, and the pool were all incredibly comfortable for me.

These are really just minor things--I don't have any serious complaints. I will note that the lounge music near the pool and restaurant was repetitive at times. In addition, the pool ladders were not able to support my weight, and the edge was incredibly slippery, which made getting in and out of the pool difficult at times. Even still, I don't think there was anything that needed to be changed; everything was incredible here.

The first time we came on 2019 the light was very dark in the room but now for the second time stayed at Greenhost the room as per my expectation, not dark and very bright but we can turn off which area we don't like too bright, i feel like home so comfy. the mattress also very nice and i feel like didn't want to get up from the bed. We love it. The area also very nice, the next hotel there is a modern market which is we can buy something and a lot of nice restaurants, coffee place by walking distance. I love the room smell very relaxing (Lemongrass) and also the soap. The hotel looks very greens makes me feel relaxed and healing from the stress. we can breathe from fresh oxygen at the hotel because all the hotel full of fresh tree. Soto Ayam is very nice at the hotel restaurant. for sure we will come back for another holiday with family!

I just love the concept with urban farming and all the plants around the building! It makes it not only beautiful from a visual point of view, but also more fresh and in addition the fresh herbs smell lovely! I like the simplistic but stylish design in the rooms and the big, comfy beds! Everything was very clean, staff friendly. Will come again, in case visiting Yogyakarta another time!

It's not a dislike, I just think small bottles for shampoo does not really fit the rest of the concept of the hotel. Further, I am not a fan of breakfast buffet (which does not mean that the breakfast is not good!).

The architecture of this hotel is in itself a reason for staying there. Beautiful green walls and warmly decorated rooms. In addition, breakfast includes vegetables produced in the hotel's own hydroponic farm on the rooftop.

Our reservation didn't include breakfast and we thought the additional 100.000 IDR were a bit too much considering what you got. There are plenty of nice cafés in the surroundings though. Be aware that there is a neighbouring mosque, meaning that one should expect prayers through the speakers throughout the day (including early morning)

Greehost hotel is just perfect! Perhaps the best quality price rario of any hotel I gave ever stayed in. Its so nice and relaxing. The hotel design is fabulous; I booked it because of the lush green walls and I was not disappointed. Staff are very helpful, the restaurant is great (breakfast is amazing and you have great veggie à la carre options) ) and a very pleasant area to relax after a day of site seeing. The travel agency nearby can help with virtually almost any question a tourist may have in Yoggia and beyond.

Thus place is perfect. If I want to be picky I can say the rooms are small because of the huge extra large beds.
