Was truly delightful experience thanks to the exceptional staff. I must commend the team for their excellent hospitality, which was truly the best part of my stay. The staff members were incredibly accommodating, warm, and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my visit.

Unfortunately, I noticed that the room cleanliness fell short of expectations during my stay. Additionally, the housekeeping staff often forgot to set up the bathmat and provide adequate guest amenities. The bathmat provided was more akin to a hand towel due to its thin and unsatisfactory quality.

We paid breakfast at the hotel. There were a lot of choices, that you can find pancake and also noodles. Hotel was situated close to train station, but you have to go about 15minutes. Also a lot of companions can pick you up in this hotel. You get free slippers.

The windows were not sealed properly; there was a large gap between the glass and the frame. In the morning and evening, prayers from a nearby mosque could be heard, along with frequent crowing of roosters.

It's a 4-star hotel but not always top notch - it's generally clean but certain things look a bit.like falling apart. However, the staff was super nice, the food was super tasty and plentiful. It's quite a noisy neighborhood and the windows don't really keep the noice out, so make sure to take earplugs for a good night sleep (the nearby train station has a really loud street crossings that will sure wake you up at night, as well as the callings from the mosque before dawn).

The breakfast offerings might have been heaven's delight for local tastes but it offered very little for Western breakfast preferenances (no eggs, potatoes, meats, cheese, yougart, bagels, muffins, etc.). Most of it was what one would consider "lunch" (rice or noodles with various toppings).

We really enjoyed our stay at Riss Hotel. The rooms are lovely and big with everything you need. Staff are very sweet but not a lot of English is spoken. There is a huge variety of food for breakfast. It's within easy walking distance of the Tugu Train station.

The pool is used for swimming lessons on a Sunday morning making it quite noisy. Could hear the train.

Lovey hotel, well positioned near the train station - 15 minute walk only. Also near the main shopping area at Malioboro. Lots of local street food options within 5 min walk.

Would have appreciated some more English explanation of items offered for breakfast as I have dietary needs and need to know what I am eating.

Great hotel, spacious rooms with modern bath. Nice views over town. Good breakfast. Excellent service, very personal!!! Good price!

The bread at the breakfast tasted unfortunately quite old.

Amazing staff. Receptionists on August 12th evening helped me get my phone back, which I forgot in the nearby store just before the store’s closing. I’m so grateful, thank you again, girls🤗.

The staff is really kind, the room is big, the facilities are great and the restaurant and the food are fantastic.

The hotel is close to the train station and you can hear the trains when they approach.
