Staff Professionalism & impeccable service

Although the bedroom is big , it is outdated & urgently needed an upgrade. The bedroom basin separate hot, cold water knobs is annoying. It is hard to turn on the knobs when the hand is covered with soap.

We booked a king room with club lounge access, and this was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip as the staff ( Mel, Calvin, Lovas, and Jove ) went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. As I'm a vegetarian, I was concerned about the evening cocktail options. I need not have worried as they came up with specialised snacks for me every evening, all delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We found the hotel's staff at breakfast to be considerate and friendly every morning, and there was a whole lot of vegetarian options each morning. The breakfast is amazing overall, and the setting,especially outdoors, is truly enjoyable. The property itself is worth exploring, beautifully designed with expansive gardens and traditional details. The gym is small but equipped with everything you need and everyone seemed to enjoy the swimming pools.

Nothing really. As some other comments have mentioned, the hotel rooms did seem in need of some modernization and the hotel is working on this. We still found our room very comfortable. Some may be disturbed by noises from rooms upstairs/ lobby as the walls are a bit thin.

Everything! Staff is so nice and provided us with a really warm welkom. We did the bike tour and got a massage. It was all so good and lovely. Restaurants are also good and you really get good high quality food. Pool is amazing and really refreshing. Location is amazing, all the green in a big city. Anddd amazing view Mt Merapi from rooftop. Amazing!

Everything was as expected. At is stated in other reviews: they are busy with renovating. Rooms are dated, but it didnt bothered us. It was clean and comfortable. New rooms look already amazing (we saw them from the rooftop) so would really recommend when there ready!

**Outstanding Stay at the Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta** From the moment we arrived at the Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta, we knew we were in for a special experience. The entrance alone, with its lush green landscape, sets the perfect scene for a tranquil getaway. Check-in was seamless, and the staff, always impeccably groomed, made us feel welcome immediately. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. Breakfast was a highlight, offering both local and international options, all fresh and delicious, with attentive service that made us feel well looked after. While the rooms are currently being upgraded, we stayed in one of the older ones, which was still clean and comfortable—more than acceptable for our stay. A special mention goes to the management, who took the time to personally check in on us, asking about our plans and offering assistance if needed. This attention to detail truly set the hotel apart. The Bogies Terrace restaurant and bar was another highlight, with its stunning location next to the golf course. The menu was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious food and drinks, all served by friendly and attentive staff. Overall, our stay was a 10/10, and we will definitely be returning on our next visit to Yogyakarta. Highly recommended!

The staff was really good and attentioned. The breakfast was very various that several days would be necessary to taste all. The outside place for breakfast and lunch is wonderful under the trees. The garden around and architecture is unique. There a small restaurant called angarikan on hotel site with simple local and cheap food if we don't looking for sophisticated and western food inside hotel

The bathroom is old fashioned, is the only reproach I can see.

We were very happy with the overall facilities of the hotel. The arrival area is very we designed as is the pool area. There is a great waterside for the kids but is designed in such a way that it adds rather than detracts from the overall atmosphere of the property. The food options, particularly breakfast, are plentiful and we'll executed. Our group of 6 was consistently pleased with the quality and variety of food. This was a very pleasant stay on the outskirts of Yogya.

Our room is getting s but dated but we could see that some rooms had been refreshed. Overall the facilities were very good.

Location is amazing, facilities are excellent - water slide in the pool, nice jogging / walking track, spa, gym, restos , regency club lounge. Best of all are the people, special mention to Mel and team of Regency club, exceptional hospitality, Peni and team of Kemangi Bistro who have made everything possible to make our stay comfortable, chef Juwanto who made sure our food requirements are taken care of and the loft moments team who did a great job to capture our family moments together

Nothing much

The entrance was bliss, i love how they keep the garden and trees. The staff are very great and very welcoming. The hotel although outdated, are very comfy and very clean. Eventhough the housekeeper sometimes forgot to put enough bottled water or missin here and there, but overall the stay was very good. The pool was great, the food was good too. And the fish pond, my 6 yrs old daughter love to feed the fish in the pond. A lot of activities for families and kids too.

They're doing some renovation, so it might be a little bit noisy in the afternoon. But its manageable. And besides, you will exploring the city in the afternoon. Plus, we cannot wait for the new suites to be finished. Definitely will be back after they finished some renovation.

Breakfast: 11 out of 10. Staff: Always helpfull, beautiful people. Gardens were exceptional. Room: We stayed in the room facing a beautiful volcano. Remarkable view. The room itself looked a bit tired, but we heard changes are coming.

Bogey’s terrace: Staff initially didn’t provide us with wine list or price. They made up price which was far too high (AUD$90 for local wine). After insisting they finally got it from us, ended up paying a half of the price. This experience made us questioned their motive. THIS IS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN IN SUCH A GOOD HOTEL WITH A BIG NAME!!

All the staff is very very friendly and helpful. The facilities is one of the best I found . Garden , swimming pool , golf course . From the drop off area until reception everyone takes care of us , during the check inn still one person to assist you to explain all the hotel . Breakfast is perfect , maybe few more item western in the choice , but overall all perfect. The staff is really good, all the staff including the chef and the kitchen crew . One of the best treatment ever
