Good choice of various types of food for breakfast, although mostly aimed at Indonesian style breakfast. I particularly enjoyed the fruit, fresh juice and egg station selections. Also there was a good coffee shop (separate to the hotel) selling ice cream, called Le Petito, on the ground floor beneath reception. Overall a very enjoyable stay. We have stayed here before and will probably stay again.

Can't think of anything I didn't like. Those not familiar with Yogyakarta should note that it is quite far from the main tourist centre (eg Jalan Malioboro) but taxis are easy to access via hotel reception.

The location is not in the heart of the city, which for me it was perfect because I stayed here during peak season due to Xmas and Year end holiday, so I can stay away from the crowd unless I intended to go there. We can feel luxurious ambience when arrived, we dropped at big lobby and reception area. The service from the staff were great, I requested for interconnecting room and they can provided it. The room was spacious, there was sofabed available in the room on top of regular bed. I have no chance to explore the hotel facilities (e.g pool, gym, etc) but satisfied with the cleanliness of the room and the linen, towel, etc. Menu for breakfast was also various and complete. Keep up the goodwork, The Alana team!

What can be improved: the soundproof of the room, as we can still hear the sound from outside. And minor one were easy switching in the shower (between flexible and fixed shower), and the consistencies of refill of the room facilities between room everyday.

Large rooms. Good breakfast, but not the best - had better on or Java trip before (hotels in the same price range).

Construction yard next to the hotel. Gym and pool weren't available (there was a replacement pool in the appartment building near the hotel, not very practical and the pool not very good - thought as a infinity pool approximately 20x5 m, the water was not circulating - no spilling over where it should into the skimmer) .

The hotel facilities, spacious room, the courteous staff and their service. The working desk in the room is pretty decent. They have an ATM, salad stall, barbershop and mini market at the Ground level, mosque is also within the hotel area, pretty convenient.

We booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child, AS written in the description, about the breakfast it's included (but not specified on how many, we assume it's for all.). At the hotel they claimed that the room we booked only goes with 2 adult breakfasts and we need to pay for 1 child (small amount, but we still being annoyed by it). I wish this is mentioned in the description when we book it.

What I like the most is that the room is spacious. I also like the food, which, to be sure, reflects the local taste. Last but not least, I like the staff; they are very friendly.

There is barely any dislike for this hotel. However, its location—far from the city's heart—might make people uncomfortable. One more thing that people might dislike is that the room is not like new furniture anymore.

The hotel staffs are friendly, and helpful. The breakfast has a lot of variety and the taste of the foods are also not disappointing. The room is spacious with complete amenities.

The room is actually already clean, but the cleanliness of the room can still be improved.

The room size is exceptional. The floor is covered with thick carpet so our kids can play with their toys without disturbing other rooms. The staff, facilities, breakfast are superb.

The pool needs to be cleaned more often. Not enough parking space in the basement area during high season.

The furnitures are old in the room. The lift is very confusing. We are a large group and stay in many level. We cannot go to other level with our card access. We must can meet them in the lobby and go up together. So strange No stationary as pen or paper in the room
