The quality is consistent with Melia resorts around the world. The hotel didn’t have much sign of wear and tear like most in the city and the staff were all friendly and helpful. I liked that it was away from the crowded areas like Malioboro which also made it easier for pick up and drop off for day tours but if you want to be in the middle of the city then this hotel might be a bit too far out for you.

I paid extra for the Merapi view room and in 4 days I didn’t see the mountain once. I guess it’s hit or miss but from this experience I’d say it’s a waste of money. I also paid extra for the breakfast on one day and thought it was so so. You can get better for cheaper elsewhere. Otherwise, no complaints 😊

Fantastic views and an ideal location for visiting Prambanan Temple - Grab taxi/bike is really cheap to get there so you can be there first thing in the morning before all the crowds. I reccommend the bike cause then you get to drive through the countryside. Its a little bit out of the centre of town but Grab taxi's weren't too expensive and I believe there is a bus you can get. The staff were all very nice and polite and the mini fridge had a few different items which were replenished each day which was a nice touch. the beds were amazingly comfy and ridculously huge. I saw the staff cleaning the rooms and it was very thorough - among the best I have ever seen (turning matresses etc). Live music seemed to be provided either downstairs or on the rooftop - but I'm not sure if that was just because it was the holiday season.

not the hotels fault but I found many of the other guests extremely rude. the staff apologised for the behaviour of the guests. But I couldn't even eat my meals without other guests pointing and staring at me and when I used the pool some guests were taking photos of me. i would have liked a hand towel in the bathroom as well as the bath towels which were provided i might not pay for the mountain view again at that time of year because the weather meant it was obscured most days. I would check what season you are visiting before choosing the room. food and drinks were much more expensive than in town but the quality was really good and large portions

I appreciate the generosity of the hotel management. They provide free snacks and drink in the room and it is refilled everyday. The room is above prediction: Spacious and clean, with comfy pillows and bed. Ohya, and I am happy that they provide body lotion & hair dryer in the room.

If you are first timer for vacationing in Yogya, the location of this hotel is quite far from the center of the city and other touristy destinations. But if you dont mind commuting a bit and wanna have some quiet time, perhaps this hotel fits you. At the rooftop swimming pool, due to the narrow size, it will be better to remove the floating pillow which took up the space.

So we actually rented a car at the airport and we came to visit the temples around Yogyakarta. For this reason, the hotel location was perfect. It was also important to be able to rest. There were some kids in the hotel but not on our floor (or at least we didn't hear). We checked the gym and the pool but didn't have much energy to use them after whole day trips. The breakfast was buffet style, and we could find enough vegan/vegetarian options. However, there could be a bit more salad variety. Also, on the room service menu, I didn't see for example any soup (even no basic tomato soup, for example) and also no green salad ... I believe we could have requested from the kitchen, but it was not on the menu. The hotel room was neat and tidy. We loved the modern style, the free mineral waters, 1 bottle of ionised water, coffee, tea, and some chocolates. The room also has a hair dryer and small amenities. We really loved the place. The staff were super nice and friendly. Especially two girls at the breakfast. Can't recall their names but one was inside the salad bar and the other was collecting the plates from the tables. They both spoke great English and were really helpful. If we come again to Yogyakarta, definitely plan a stay at this hotel again and will recommend to friends as well. Thank you.

Put some more vegan menu options on your room service (like tomato soup and green salad), so you get a 100%. Like this 99%. Thank you for everything. Loved this place.

Mostly I love to stay here. The ambience, the staff, the room, the location. So quite and cozy. Wanna stay a lil bit more days...😊. Keep a good work.

Maybe, the room need a small repair. The bathroom too... floor nat in the shower is broken, stain on the table, on the bedsheet and a lil fix for the furniture. And add more fragrance in the room.

Good stay at Innside by Melia. Friendly staff, clean room and excellent spread of breakfast choices. Easy access by road and near to the famous Candi Prambanan.

The hotel is about 45-50 mins from International Airport by car. Takes about 30 minutes to city train station for another 40 mins train ride to airport - less costly compared to car but for another 10 mins - just go with car to airport. If you still prefer train-to-airport, purchase tickets 1-2 days ahead as they are usually sold out. Hotel is away from eating places except for a small Lotte off-price shop next door. Hotel tries to keep guests entertained with evening roof-top band performances - good for short stay guest but not when you stay more than 3 nights. Recommended for business travelers for easy access to surrounding areas but not quite suitable for family holidays.

We love the room, quite big room with a king bed, water heater shower is good, aircon is good. And the View of Mt Merapi is amazing! Ms Silvi and Dewi are very helpful over the desk. Everyday greets us with a big smile 😀

The blanket sheet got some stains.. the quilt got big stains too that can see thru the blanket sheets. Obvious stains on the shower floor and the pull down screen in the shower are with molds...

It's actually clean but not 100% clean. They not really detailed as in my bedcover there were a spot like toothpaste left. And the glasses at bathroom still dirty. But the rest are okay

Merapi view from the room, magnificent skydeck/rooftop w merapi view. The room size is pretty large. Close to Gudeg/Bakpia spots. Polite and diligent staff. I had to reduce my stay due to schedule and they covered it properly.

Aircon was not working but the they sent the technician right away and solved asap. The bathroom door is awkward. Need to fix the design. The shower tile is a bit dangerous (slippery) for elderly.

Amenities in the bathroom felt like it was there for quite some time? With dry water stains eventhough we've just arrived. If they could work on that then it would be perfect
