The hotel is magnificent. It’s very beautiful, especially the pool. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Lots of people seem to come to his hotel for a photoshoot. The view of the volcano from my balcony was outstanding.

I previously read reviews that this hotel is dated and I would agree with that. It seems that the property is perhaps too big/expensive to maintain. I stayed in July and the hotel was very quiet.

I thoroughly loved this hotel - there was a great atmosphere as soon as you walked into the foyer, the atrium and waterfall was great along with beautiful views all round and a decent swimming pool and spa. Food and room service was of a good standard and the cake shop excelled with some of the delicious cakes they provided. Room was nicely decorated and very spacious along with comfy bed and amazing view from the balcony. Good distance by car to some of the important temples and volcanos. Thanks to all members of staff for a professional, polite and hardworking approach to the service they provided. Would highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when I come back.

I had lovely night staying at Sheraton, I chose to stay with pool view . It was such a heritage building, the vibes and the architecture are absolute gems. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, and the price was so worth it to the facilities and perks that we got.

There was a frog in the bathroom and we tried to ask for the housekeeping to pick it up ,but it took ages (40 mins) to come as we need to hurry bcs we needes to use the bathroom and so we had to ring 4 times.

Pool was amazing, the gardens were lovely, and the view of Mount Merapi from our room was spectacular. Breakfast was good, staff in the breakfast area were friendly and helpful. Hotel in general and our room were clean, despite being an older hotel. Comfy bed and good water pressure in the shower!

Hotel staff didn't seem to really speak or understand much English, especially the kitchen/room service. We also found it rather annoying that the hotel staff would ask us about our stay at very inconvenient times and insisted that we answer then and there, not at a later time that suited us. Happened once while waiting for a car to pick us up, then another time when they called up to our room in the evening at 8 PM. Wouldn't have expected this with a room from Sheraton. Room was also NOT soundproofed, there was a wedding in the gardens that weekend, and it was so loud, we could hear EVERYTHING from the MC making stupid jokes to people singing offkey with the band.

This resort is good designed. The swimming pool at first floor is good. The breakfast here is so good which provides many cuisines to meet customers' requirements. The coffee guy is really friendly and even learn to make a new kind of coffee for us which he first knew.

Staff never help us to send the take-out box to our room. We need to grab it by ourselves.

Room is renovated and has a modern feel. Unfortunately during our stay there were some hickups (e.g. it took 10min+ before we could get warm water). Breakfast has a large variety of choices, both local as international. Pool area is nice and very suitable for kids. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The kids club was a bit disappointing. A small slide inside and the airco is not really working. No activities organized for kids during our stay.

The pool was great, the rooms were great and they managed to get interconnected rooms for us and our young children. The breakfast was great and service good too.

Service was a little show but it didn't affect our stay. The pool closed at 6pm which was a little disappointing and the kids club was not manned or had air conditioning. Otherwise all was great and we enjoyed our stay.

The facility is gorgeous. We took the opportunity to have a photoshooting, offered by the staff, and it was nothing but great! The breakfast is absolutely amazing!

I was surprice, my room was upgraded, Sheraton give Room 517 (Bimasena Ececutive Suite) was so beautiful with three balcony, luxury, Spacious and comfortable. Bfast nice many variety with merapi view and staffs are amazing, kind and friendly

The people were so caring. Especially bu ika with a smiling face helped us every single day mornings with customized vegetarian dishes and packed apple my kid when we go for sightseeing. It’s the people that make Sheraton wonderful place to stay
