Great location - perfect for access to Jogja central business and to UGM. The hotel is professional and well managed. The staff at the reception and concierge are attentive and are reliable.

I don't mind that my room has a small fridge that is empty. But please, please, please, make sure that the fridge is turned on before I get to the room. That way - I can drink cold water and place my own soft drinks or fruit juices in the fridge. Everything else is fine. when I next return to Kimaya - I will again request that the fridge is turned on. It is important for international travelers.

The lobby smells good. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food. The room was comfortable, and it was close-ish to UGM (which was our main purpose for visiting Yogyakarta). It's also close to a mall with some restaurants and cafes. We forgot some of our stuff at the hotel after checking out, and the staff there helpfully kept them for us.

The gym and the equipment are old. Swimming pool closes relatively early (6 pm) so we didn't have a chance to use it. Lighting in the room was very dark, so it was difficult to do work in the room.

All facilities work well, staffs are wholeheartedly friendly and kind, the room is spacious and clean..really love this hotel.. Swimming pool is amazing with artificial waterfall.. Location is great..less than 10mins drive away from famous Malioboro (cost only around 20k IDR by grabcar).. The fridge in the room is really working, that the freezer can actually freeze my blue ice..

But they have limited parkig space and small elevators. Those 2 kinda be a hiccup during high season / rush hour. The AC temperature in my room (825) can't be adjusted. It was so cool even when we turn the thermostat to 30º. Other than that, this hotel really meet my expectation. A superb hotel with a reasonable price.

Its super king bed size and spacious room was amazing. The staffs at the front desk really helpfull. My kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Despite the location is not really at the downtown, it takes some advantages with ease to reach. The one thing I would always remember is the stunning diorama on the corridor towards the restaurant.

Somehow the vibrant feels like the hotel quite old. Maybe some refurbishment would help to keep the legacy.

Great Room - spacious, comfortable and clean. A really impressive view from the window of my room meant that each day started off with a relaxed feeling and an expectation of great things. The bathroom was well set out and the desk and large screen TV made for all of the necessary items for a great stay.

Would like the fridge to be turned on and cold.

The staff at breakfast was really nice, she helped my mother to get anything..superb on the extended service. Also the housekeeping to get us bolster punctually when requested. The hot shower is great and the bed is comfy.

The reception at breakfast asked for extra charge for my nephew who is 10 year old claiming the limit of age to be free of charge for breakfast is 6 year old. But when we checked in we already asked the hotel reception and got informed the kid up to 12 years old would have breakfast for free. Well I don't know which one is correct. The air con controller in my room is tricky to use..you have to press it first before you turn it to the left or right.

Really decent hotel which seems to be a little forgotten. It’s not a new hotel (it used to be a Novotel, it seems) and some of the fittings may not be the newest, but it all works. Very comfortable indeed, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Good breakfast, too!

The restaurant is a little expensive if you have lunch there (decent quality, though).

Very helpful and kind staff, specially Viola who welcomed us and helped us with all our needs. There's a gym at the hotel that's enough equipped to get a proper workout. The breakfast was a delicious Indonesian breakfast with a big variety of food. I recomend the hotel, thank you for a pleasant stay!

Check in process was quick, the staff from the security, bellboy, reception are doing their best. The swimming pool has opening time from 8am to 6pm. Welcome drinks available at the lounge. The rooms are spacious and clean, even it look a bit old.

We called the hotel in advance to inform late check in since we drive from Jakarta and they asked for down payment otherwise our booking to be released. As weird as it is since we booked through booking.com with the terms of cancellation cost may be applied. However we wired the down payment to avoid any unfavorable. The bathroom door in my room can't be shut unless you lock it.

In general I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the breakfast is superb (they have wide variety of food, from western to Indonesian food, including hot ginger and jamu (traditional drinks). We chose the hotel because it also has a well-equipped gym although unfortunately we did not take advantage of it due to our busy schedule. The internet is also good if you are looking for a stable connection. We were even able to play online games from our hotel room.

It is not that I did not like it but the building is rather old compared to other hotel, but it is very well maintained, everything run well and smoothly, including the hot water.
