The staff were all really friendly. The breakfast was great! Overall good value since the room (especially the bathroom) is clean compared to other more expensive abnbs and local boutique hotels I’ve stayed at.

I booked a Deluxe room, but upon arrival I found the Deluxe room on the second floor pretty poorly maintained and some parts of the room seemed to have been left uncleaned. The reception also wanted me to put down a deposit for a second key even though I booked a twin room and was staying with my friend?? Then I had to upgrade for a room on the tenth floor where the layout and furniture are exactly the same but seemed to be better maintained. However, on Wednesday night, the loud and distasteful music was playing at the rooftop bar on the eleventh floor and we could hear it through our roof as if we were in the bar until almost midnight. So if you are coming with children or have early activities on Thursday, definitely avoid staying on the tenth floor.

I enjoyed my stay at Porta. We mostly booked this hotel for its proximity to the university campus for a conference and it was amazing to have this within walking distance. The hotel rooftop (with infinity pool and sauna) offered perfect moments for relaxation. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The hotel is not very sensory friendly, with a strongly scented lobby and a DJ every night on the rooftop. We also had to get used to the TV turning itself on every time we inserted the room card for electricity.

- Stayed for 5 days with my family. Good value for money. - The room layout was minimalist but proper & efficient, and the furniture looks modern. - The bathroom was clean, the shower and toilet just worked fine every time. - Good location in the city center. Easy to drive everywhere. - We loved the food: delicious with an affordable price. A Jogja signature.

- The parking slot was quite limited, although they provided free valet parking. - The lavatory is too shallow

The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. For the price, I could not have asked for better service. I strongly recommend staying here, especially for anyone who is visiting UGM nearby.

Although the hotel is non-smoking, many people were smoking at the rooftop bar. As someone with asthma, this made it impossible to attend events held there.

My stay at Porta was fantastic and I would highly recommend staying here to anyone coming to Yogyakarta. The onsite restaurant, cafe, and rooftop bar were excellent. The staff was exceptional, always going above and beyond.

Friendly and helpful staff. Stayover cleaning is very clean. They have nice rooftop pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Pool is not so big but has a nice view over the city. The hotel is also very new.

Breakfast is vary but doesn’t taste very good. The coffee from breakfast is very watery. I noticed there are a small hole and stain on the bed sheet.

Friendly staff, the room was spacious for 2 people. I requested 2 rooms close to each other and gladly they gave rooms face to face. They cleaned the room seriously so it was nice.

The bathroom kinda smells a bit unpleasant due to no window (?) , maybe can put an air freshener in it just to make the smell less unpleasant

Nice hotel to stay, very clean and comfortable, the food is very good, the bar on the terrace is quite pleasant. the staff is very polite and respectful.

It would be nice to have an ATM at the hotel, although there is one available 150 meters away.

Great hotel, good atmosphere, excellent staff - especially Swastika helped us tremendously with booking tours and tickets -, stylish and spacious rooms, and superb, varied breakfast.

Slightly out from the center, but everything easily accessible by taxi (costs hardly anything).

The ambiance, decorations, and bed were comfy, with the nice choices of pillows. The staff were so nice, helpful and friendly. The location was good with easy access to many places.

There was only 1 pair of slippers when there were 2 guests.
