Excellent service, great assistance for honeymoon, wonderful special gifts and support. Live music was nice. Food is better than most places in Yogyakarta. Breakfast is fantastic with variety.

I was very impressed by this hotel. I stayed four nights whilst touring the Yogyakarta area. Communication with the hotel about trips and transfers was excellent with swift responses to all my queries. The hotel is very clean and well furnished in public areas. My room was nice and bed comfortable. There is an excellent choice at breakfast with all tastes catered for. I used the coffee shop and rooftop bar during my stay. There is a good food and drinks menu. The staff were most friendly and attentive throughout my stay. There were some very good offers and promotions at the hotel which were well received. The price of accomodation was excellent, considering the standard of hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the city and looking for a top quality hotel in a good location. I would happily stay here again on any return to Yogyakarta.

Overall such a wonderful hotel. The staff were lovely and quickly remembered our names every time we passed the lobby. The room was beautiful and we loved the facilities, including the pool and the spa where we had massages. When we missed our train and had to stay an unexpected additional night in Yogyakarta, they welcomed us again and made room for us. There was also amazing choice at the breakfast.

I would have liked a bit more vegan options, as there were basically no vegan dishes on the room service/restaurant menus. Some of the staff were also quite reluctant to accomodate and ask the chef if they could adjust recipes (ie. no cheese on the veggie pizza) so that we could eat there.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is clean and beautifully decorated with nice Javanese cultural details. The location is perfect, the pool is relaxing, and the gym—though simple—is useful. The breakfast was excellent, with a huge buffet and very tasty options. The bedroom was comfortable with nice amenities.

Service at the rooftop bar and coffee/tea lounge was extremely slow – and I saw other guests mentioning the same issue, with meals sometimes taking nearly an hour to arrive. The air conditioning in my room was also quite noisy (common problem for this type of AC)

Excellent facilities. Great soundproofing, we did not wake up to the morning prayers in this location like we did in other Java hotels. Rooftop pool is great. Staff very helpful and nice. We ended up staying an extra night because we enjoyed it so much. Neighborhood had good food options, we tried a good local fish place around the corner, a cookie shop, a ramen shop, and a sate mom and pop type place which were all among the best food we had on our trip.

My wife had trouble with how thick the pillows were. Breakfast was just OK for us compared to a few other similar hotels we stayed at this trip, although it had a couple good options like the French toast.

Wow! Such a luxury hotel, helpful and so friendly staff and what a clean room! We looooved the pool (area) on the 8th floor, we sat there enjoying our cocktail looking over busy Yogyakarta while enjoying the amazing food they offer. And maybe something small, but for us it was important! The laundry server was exceptional, we got our cloths clean, dry and folded within a day and everything was nicely packed in individual bags. We could proceed our travels with a bunch of freshly washed cloths. Thank you to all the staff, for the amazing service and the always friendly faces 🙏

We had a family stay at yogyakarta to visit the famous Borobudur and Prambanan temples . The hotel was good with spaceous rooms, and the breakfast spread was good. The half board option gets you 100k IDR vouchers per adult per night, which can be redeemed at the restaurant. The food options are limited but good, and I would recommend the Sup Buntut was pretty awesome. The hotel has a rooftop pool and a very nice view of the mountains near the city. The staff helped us pack some breakfast on the last day as we had an early morning flight, which was very thoughtful.

The location is a bit away from malioboro Street, and there is a lot of traffic in and out , we wasted a lot of time waiting for cabs from grab and took a lot of time to get around near the street of the hotel. Breakfast was not labelled for people who don't understand Indonesian, and we were finding it hard to select options. Overall, the experience was good, considering the hotel was quite chic and shiny.

Indonesian Hospitality at it finest. This hotel is without a doubt one of best hotels I've ever stayed in. Ive stayed in Hilton's, Marriott's, Hyatt Regency's, Westin's etc and the staff and facilities at the Manohara far out way any experience I've had previously. EVERYBODY from Reception, concierge, restaurant staff, housekeeping and the hotel driver goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and important. Well done Hotel Manohara and thank you. You should all be very proud of yourselves.

The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, very modern and relatively well soundproofed compared to all other hotels we have stayed at in Indonesia. The infinity pool at the top is very nice and not too busy until late evening.

The hotel is pretty central but the street is dirty and busy so it's not very nice to walk around. However, to be honest, the whole city is pretty dirty and not really nice, so you can't really blame the hotel for that.

The interior is very clean, modern, and well-maintained. The aromatic scent in the lobby and hall is pleasant and calming. The pool is also clean, and the facilities provided are modern and up to date. I like the idea of pool bar, massage area, and tea time.

All good. Everything is okay. If I need to comment perhaps just the toilet paper hanger and closet placing in the bathroom were too close so it's a bit difficult sitting down. And perhaps its a bit too quiet. It would be nice if there are more lively.
