Clean, good AC, across the road from a really good beach, nice sunsets, good food nearby including kosher places and also open in shabbat places. Cute lobby with 24/7 free coffee and drink/snacks. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Public parking nearby, busy but lots of places and high turnover, so easy to find a spot. It's my second stay there, and i will probably return here again

The elevator is super slow, but it's only 1 floor by stairs. Couldn't find how to turn off the 'hotel smell spray'. Which i don't love.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sur La Mer in Ashdod. It exceeded our expectations—great value for money, very friendly and welcoming staff, and an exceptionally comfortable bed. The wonderful Ashdod beach was just in front of the hotel. Parking always available. I would definitely stay here again

The ground floor area felt a bit deserted, and the entrance to the hotel was through an unusual passage that wasn’t very clean. Also, the exterior windows could use some cleaning.”

The location, the room size, the bed quality and the staff were top notch. You have water, coffee, milk, small snacks and more readily available and good quality.

Wish there was some kind of parking arrangements even if paid. Using the application every day and every time you park is not the best experience. In my room I wish there was a better location for the air conditioner, it blows over the bed and you have to chose between sleeping hot and sleeping cold with a sneaz in the morning.

The hotel is nicely located near the beach and several restaurants. The room was more than ample for our needs with all the required accessories. Outside the room in the hall were located coffee and tea, cakes and cookies and soft drinks all neatly cared for and displayed. The staff was excellent and kind. A very good hotel with excellent staff and thought behind the fixtures and cleanliness of the entire place. Very highly recommended!

Everything was fine.

The staff are so accommodating. We were across the street from the beach, and they were so kind to give us extra towels for the beach and beach chairs! We loved that there were fresh, sweet rolls, snacks, and coffee for us in the lounge. There was plenty of room in our hotel room, and plenty of the travel size shampoos and such for us to use.

As a recommendation for them, thank you for the extra towels, but maybe a large laundry basket to drop our used sandy beach towels in.

One of the best places I've been to in a long time,, the staff were extremely friendly and the rooms are large and clean. The location is fantastic, just cross the street and you're on the beach. There are several restaurants, a supermarket and nightlife all within a 5 minute walk.

Location was excellent. The staff were lovely. The room was quite roomy.

The property was advertised as including breakfast, but in reality there was only excellent coffee and some sweet pastries. That was somewhat disappointing. In our experience, properties in this price range always offer a full Israeli breakfast. Additionally, the bed was too firm and the amenities were not pampering.

We really enjoyed our stay, the rooms were clean and spacious with a nice large bed. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, wanted to say a special thank you to Oxana, she was making sure that we always had everything we needed. Great location, close to the beach, restaurants and everything else. As an added bonus they always have fresh croissants,variety of yogurts, snacks and juices; and high quality coffee, the owner always makes sure that they don't run out of supplies. Great experience overall!

Location was amazing across the sea Exactly what our family needed not the pressure to get up for breakfast but yet get your coffee and baked goods or yogurt. For an extra treat there was snacks during the day. Perfect for our family to have a dining room area to eat take out dinner. The place was home away from home. We got the vacation feel with the comfort homey feeling.

This is our fourth stay at Sur La Mer. Being so close to the beach is a real plus. The staff members are extremely attentive, making sure we have everything we need. Since the hotel is small, there is a family atmosphere. We felt very much at home.

We liked everything.
