We come to the area regularly to visit family and friends and this is the first time of trying Agave Hotel, and based on cost compared to other hotels, we think it offers good value for money. We are a family of 4, with 2 girls (age 17 & 14). We hired a car (which for this location we'd recommend), there is plenty of space to park and the hotel feels safe and secure. Driving into the petrol station to access the hotel felt a little odd the first time around, but the hotel is tucked further up the hill and so it does not interfere with it. All of the staff we encountered were polite and helpful and did all they could to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Simona on reception was great when we arrived late on Friday night, the checking in and out process is very simple. Alessandro at breakfast was great, always making sure we had all we wanted. Antonio at the pool helped us with the daily routine of setting up our sun beds and umbrella and always had a keen eye on making sure the pool rules were abided by, so that it was a relaxing atmosphere for everyone. (As a note - in Italy in most places you are expected to wear a swimming hat when you are in the pool, especially if you are swimming and you put your had under the water). The grounds and the pool were cleaned to a high standard daily, as were the rooms. Breakfast offered a wide choice of sweet treats (cakes, pancakes, pastries etc), cooked and cold meat, cheese, yoghurts, fruit and hot and cold drinks. We ordered espresso and cappucino every morning directly from the waiters, which were not an additional cost (as in some places!).

A very minor grumble was that we didn't have instructions for the TV and so took us a while to figure it out. We wouldn't usually worry about TV, but the Olympics was on this year!

The staff were fantastic. Nothing was a problem and they were happy to help. Room was very clean and comfortable and easy accessible

Didn't understand why I had to buy and wear a swimming cap when others in the pool didn't. Dirt and leaves everywhere around the pool could have been looked after better. Location was not ideal for us as we needed to get into naples and didn't realise the costings involved for a taxi.

Nice hotel located near Pozzuoli. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy check-in and check-out. The hot tub was a good addition and the shower was lovely (much better than the apartment we rented in Pozzuoli center). The pool would be excellent in the summer, but it was a little too cold for swimming in November. Ideally you should have a car if you're coming to this hotel, the site is next to a motorway on the outskirts of Pozzuoli and has good links to Naples overall (by car/train etc). Good on-site parking. Breakfast was nice and served as a buffet with friendly waitress that will serve you hot drinks. Breakfast is served between 7:30 and 10 AM. There will always be staff available to open the front-gate at any hour of the day, which was a big plus for us.

Restaurant on the pricey side compared to the average prices in the area, but can be expected.

Loved the breakfast in the morning plus the shuttle buses.

Wish there was a foot accessible pathway to other areas, a vehicle is must if you plan to stay.

The property was beautiful and a great place to power down and relax. The pool was lovely, as was the food and great staff.

As a location, if you don’t have access to your own vehicle getting to and out of the hotel requires a taxi.

The room was large, with comfortable beds and nice shower. The breakfast was wonderful and the location is very suitable for travelers, who don't want to get into busy Naples.

There was nothing to make a bad impression.

The shower head needs replacement and the AC does not necessarily reach the bed as it was in the loft. May need to rethink the location of the bed.
