Masseria Chicco Rizzo was absolutely perfect! It’s in a convenient location to serve as a base for day trips and that’s exactly what we did on the first day, but everything was so comfortable at the property, that we didn’t leave at all the second day! We relaxed by the pool and had amazing meals at the restaurant. Gabriela and Stefano took such great care of us! My husband and I are both vegan and Stefano made us a delicious vegan cake for breakfast and incredible gnocchi for dinner. They really went out of their way to make our stay outstanding and we definitely hope to visit again in the future!

We liked everything

The pool was wonderful. Clean and perfect...albeit cold for the 1st week of May, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. The Hotel willingly accommodated a Gluten Free diet for breakfast (fabulous breakfast!) and dinner. Gabriella gave us great service and recommendations for a fabulous restaurant ... Memoranda Food in Corigliano d'Otranto a 12 minute drive. We opted for the largest room and it was wonderful. The location is excellent and would be a good base for exploring the region. We're glad we went!

Beautiful property and pool area . Our room was elegantly decorated and spacious for 2 adults and 2 children.

It was lovely to have a restaurant and we made a dinner reservation for both nights . The food was good but the restaurant let down by the service. Both nights parts of our orders were missed and when trying to get the waiters attention the second evening to ask for the missing food he gestured he was busy but would come back , he then walked past us numerous times, leaving us feeling really uncomfortable and without the food !

The site was amazing, the layout traditional and very big pool with great amenities The reception, hospitality and willingness to help and adjust to our needs was wonderful.and well appreciated. Friendly staff and great advice

The breakfast was basic with not much Variety, they did however provide me with cucumbers and tomates as I did not eat meat. Dissapointing that such a lovely site used basic plastic chairs forbthe breakfast area

Pretty landscaping, large pool, good AC, friendly staff.

Bathroom design is awkward because of the shower cabin size and proximity of the toilet to the wall, but of course that is somewhat hard to change. Better (plastic) glasses to make drinking a glass of wine or other drinks outside the restaurant a better experience, would be good.

We were welcomed so warmly at Chicco Rizzo, Gabriella and the team were very attentive and great ambassadors for Puglia. We were delighted to spend time here and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the airconditioning was really effective. I enjoyed my swim in the pool every day and the location was very peaceful. Great to see the vegetables growing on the estate and to eat them in the delicious meals created by the chefs.

The location is beautiful in the midst of an olive tree field, and the masseria itself is absolutely beautiful. However, it is very remote and there is nothing nearby if you want to eat or visit a supermarket, and they don’t offer any food or drinks at the hotel except for breakfast and lunch. Also, there is only a tiny minibar at the room, so not much storage space if you want to keep some food at the room.

The staffing at the hotel is basically only one person sitting (sometimes) in the recepetion, so feel a bit left to yourself there. Also, there is no option for food or drinks by the pool if you choose to spend the day there.

We had a fantastic overnight stay . The staff were exceptionally. We are travelling with a young baby and our needs were fully met . The food in the restaurant was excellent . An immaculate property beautiful maintained

To many options on the menu in the restaurant. They try to make it more special than it is. Go with few local dishes.

We were so lucky that we went after high season and vacation time in Italy as we had almost the whole place for ourselves (group of 13 friends). The place is so beautiful and close to Lecce (15-30min depending where in Lecce you want to be go) and has nearby supermarkets and restaurants (5min by car). The pool area and dining area is so nice and wonderful. The staff is AMAZING, they cooked us a dinner with all our wishes in short notice (we wished for a small surprise for our two just married friends and they made us a two cakes and local dishes) for very good price. Food and price wise was amazing. Cleaning services every day and they try to help us with everything. The staff speaks English and are very helpful. I can only recommend this place as you will feel like home and on vacation directly. We barely wanted to leave the place if Puglia just does not offer much to see but whole area is just sweet and wonderful. 10/10! Thank you to the amazing hotel and staff for hosting us! :)

There was no wifi and bad internet connection. But a little detox does not harm ;)
