Location to airport

We had someone open our room door with a key whilst we were inside and when we challenged him as to how he opened our door he absconded. We reported to the desk who said security would investigate but we heard nothing back. This made us feel vulnerable

Beds comfy, great size room, close to airport and good to have a food market.

We had booked for 2 days. Unfortunately, but lucky had been delayed in Miami day of check In. I notified the hotel via booking.com, letting them know we have been delayed overnight at the airport and would most likely be there in the morning. Finally, we made the next day and checked in at 10.30 am. I reiterated to the receptionist our situation and she seem to understand, or so I thought. Exhausted we showered and tried to sleep, but I had room service knocking on the door, thinking we were suppose to be checking out and reception calling the room, although the booking clearly was check out 25/3,

Great location; helpful staff, nice connected restaurant but with limited hours.

Shuttle service to LAX was great once it came, but not frequent enough and coordination between hitel staff and drivers not adequate. Even after calling the hotel, three buses passed right by the pickup area without stopping or even being in the proper lane to see passengers waving for them. All the other major hotel shuttles came by and some even stopped and called out their hotel name for potential guests.

The Courtyard by Marriott offered a good-sized room with 2 king beds, we were not bothered by anyone else's noise, and the staff was first-rate. We could spend our last day visiting L.A. museums before a late departure from LAX, knowing our luggage was in secure storage. There's even a luggage scale in the lobby so you can be sure not to be hit with overweight charges. The bistro in the lobby provided good breakfasts, and the hotel gets daily deliveries of Krispy Kreme doughnuts! The van service to the airport is reliable and the drivers are helpful. There's a fitness room that looks large and well-equipped (we didn't have time to explore it).

The duvets are, I think, polyester or part-polyester, so they overheat you, thus sleeping comfort was not optimal. The van service, though reliable, has window decals from 2020 and the vehicles are run-down.

Hotel is near from lax airport, room is spacious, clean and comfortable.

The only downside is the shuttle, nowhere to be found around the airport, we has to walk, luckily the walk takes around 15 min

The shuttle from LAX took a really long time, we waited >45 minutes

Conveniently located to LAX Airport with 24/7 shuttle service available and good information was sent to tell us how to access this. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Check-in was prompt and efficient. Wifi was free and worked well. The hotel was quiet.

As there appeared to be no independent restaurants within walking distance nearby, we ate in the bistro at the hotel. The choice of foods offered was not very attractive- burger, chicken tenders, fries, lots of high carb, fried food, nothing very light or low-digestion. There was a coffee machine in the room, and the sugar/sweetener/ creamer was all provided as sealed packets (2 only) containing all products- we found this odd, as there is much wastage- for us who like 2-3 pkts sugar & 2 creamers or milk in coffee, it meant asking for lots more packets, and wasting heaps of sweeteners. Most other countries have them available as loose items, so there is less wastage.

Power and USB receptacles were so loose that cords plugged in to charge iPhones and computers simply fell out

I've stayed there many times. The staff is always great. The food in the Bistro is always very delicious. Lupe is a great hostess. Very warm and friendly. I believe "Nick" is the chef who prepares outstanding meals.

Ongoing problem with the shuttle service. I had hoped it had been resolved. After a long international flight and waiting over 45 minutes, Wally Park never came by. A Joe's Shuttle stopped and offered to take me to the Mariott. Very much appreciated!
