My queen suite was very nice and felt cozy. It was the perfect size for a solo business traveler and would also be good for two people to share. The class W stylings (colored lights out in the garden, flippable floor mats in the elevators, funky art, etc) almost have a retro vibe for me at this point, but that was part of the comfort for me. The staff was very helpful with any and all questions, including the servers at The Hideout, where I ate several times.

The Internet access was a bit confusing, but ultimately I signed up for the more secure internet and the charges were removed due to my loyalty status.

the staff. most hotel rooms fit the bill, but room-wise, the W West Bev is marvelous for the price. the HUGE difference is the quality of EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER we encountered. THEY know what real hospitality is. we are a couple of old gay men (68; 76) and after a less than marvelous RECEPTION/stay at a similar hilton property in portland, OR, JUST THREE WEEKS AGO, we both marveled at how delightful the people were at this W location, universally. one refused to take a well-deserved tip for exceptional service, but finally did on my strong insistance. to me, a beacon of the fine training EVERYONE here must get in making ALL guests, even geriatric gay guys, feel so wonderfully welcome. kudos from TOP to BOTTOM... ALL valet, bellman (DJ), the two front desk guys who made a short room-available time wait enjoyable when we arrived a little early... the glorious woman who delivered our take-out food from UBER EATS/Din Tai Fung... and declined a nice gratuity until i insisted... kudos all around, and we look forward to our next visit, even when it'll probably be UCLA Hospital-related... something to look forward to: the best thing a hotel can provide.

The W-hotel is a super choice for Westwood, LA. The property is upscale with a great, stylish ambience. Highly recommend the queen suite. The valet, although a little expensive was well executed and the staff were faultless.

It was a bit surprising wifi was not thrown into the price. But it could be available to certain rewards program guests. Was last in Westwood in 2018 and in my view the village had declined a little in its buzz/atmosphere.

The staff and service was excellent! The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and in an exellent location in LA. The amenities made things so much easier and fun, STK, room service, the gym were a plus!

The hotel is very expensive, and that I didn't mind, but the fact that you have to pay for valet was not what I had hoped for. Overall, I had a great time, but the costs are extremely high.

The location is amazing. The staff are very friendly & accomodating. The hotel is in a safe area & 2 mins away from the super market & mins walk from Target and restaurants.

There was no breakfast included in the hotel & paying for car parking is a separate bill

Everything was good

King suite was nice and large - big room to entertain friends before an event and large bedroom/bathroom to relax in afterwards. Bed was comfortable, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The valet even offered to street park my car if a spot came up, great service all around.

Would be nice to have a free/continental breakfast option - the only options are drip coffee in the lobby or sit-down breakfast on the pool terrace. That said, we enjoyed our breakfast meal a lot. Good food and exceptional service.

Pool was very nice and we enjoyed swimming with the provided pool foaties! Great central location right next to UCLA! Food was good and staff was very responsive. We had a great stay!
