This was a relatively new hotel, very similar to any of the chain hotels of this type. It was well maintained, clean and nicely decorated. Although my sister and I just had coffee, breakfast was similar to those offered everywhere but nicely done and maintained from what we could tell. We found that Shelby was a lovely little town and enjoyed our explore. The lady offered a few suggestions for dinner and we were very pleased with our choice.

The hotel is located a short distance from town and the access to the facility seemed a bit odd, maybe unfinished but that didn’t really present any problems.

Room was great. Breakfast was fine. Staff was very friendly. I was not allowed to use my Best Western card because I made the reservations through Hotels.com. I didn't know this in advance and was told to show my card at check-in.

Couldn't use my Best Western card. Exercise room stationary bicycle had a foot strap broken and no towels in the room.

Dog friendlier.. you have a big patch of grass out front BUT have a pets not allowed sign. After traveling 8 hours in a car, have a nice patch for the dogs, not just the gravel and weeds where those can be dangerous for dogs if they get caught in them, travel up their fur, etc.

The staff there was awesome. Great breakfast with a wide variety of choices. Pool/hot tub area was perfect, very clean, plenty of towels. My wife and I would have to lie to say we found anything wrong with this property.

Very friendly & welcoming staff. Very clean & spacious room. Excellent breakfast choices! Comfy bed & nice size TV. Decent location with reasonable room rate to visit the Glacier's & to cross the border into Canada.

Elevator 'lil slow but not a major issue. Not much else to do in Shelby - limited eating options that shut down early evenings!

Like most Best Western's, this one is also a good choice. Breakfast was better than most and the beds are super comfortable.

Paying this much money for a hotel if it were located in a city is understandable, but in such a small town??

A good location and also good breakfast. Service was good and front desk quick and friendly! Room was large and clean, comfortable with a good shower.

Clean room & breakfast was a great variety & fresh. Breakfast stay kept food topped off and friendly to all who entered the room.

Pool area should be cleaner. Pool water looked murky

The breakfast was phenomenal every day we were there. The staff that was preparing it and waiting to clean up the tables were wonderful and very attentive!! They would take our things when we were done and clean and disinfect the tables when patrons left. The choices were fantastic and even some very nice pre-packaged options and fruit that we could grab before our hikes every day. We had to leave before breakfast one day and it was nice to have the microwaves and a very nice size mini-fridge so we could still eat a good breakfast before our hike that day. Also, on the day of check-in, I had not noticed the extra incidentals fee when booking and didn't quite have enough money on the card I used. The front desk worker was very kind and waved it for us, with the knowledge that it could be added later if anything was broken or ruined.

I wish it would have been closer to Glacier. We booked it with the knowledge that it would be a drive every day but was tiring after hiking all day and was still worth it in my opinion. Maybe a nice, economical restaurant attached or close by. The Dollar Tree/Family Dollar on the other side of the parking lot was a quick economical option though. They did have frozen microwave options that got us through. I didn't want to cook and clean up and make dinner after hiking all day and there wasn't a huge selection in Shelby. The only other thing was we had 3 people staying in our room and had to ask for a 3rd washcloth every day. Not a big deal but maybe with 2 queen beds at least put 3 if not 4 in the rooms. We tried to reuse towels as much as possible.

Clean, clean, clean. The property was easy to get to from the interstate and had two dollar stores nearby for picking up supplies. The front desk staff was very pleasant and even provided fresh baked cookies! It was easy to get all of our luggage out of the car and up to the room.

No complaints. Everything was satisfactory.
