If I could give this accommodation 10000000 out of 10 I would. Lucia and Pietro are beyond perfect hosts: they truly make you feel like family. Whether it’s a stunning, home-cooked breakfast, the wonderful rooms and views, or advice and support visiting the area that they are so proud to share, they do everything to make your stay special. The location is ideal for exploring the area and as a base for seeking out the Amalfi Coast. The Path of the Gods trail starts in walking distance, and the town and area are filled with great restaurants. Whether you want something simple or an unforgettable tasting menu, Pietro and Lucia have great recommendations. We took a cooking class, we heeded their advice to visit the beautiful Ravello and Villa Cimbrone, plus much, much more; basically, they made our trip complete. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, clean and peaceful, and the views and grounds make this a really relaxing place away from the hustle and bustle, yet still with plenty to see and do. It’s great for kids and families, couples, or anyone passing through and needing a home away from home. Another quick note on the breakfasts: they are absolutely HUGE. Local meats and cheeses, rich omelettes and salads, grilled vegetables, cereals, fruits, yoghurts…and lots of freshly baked cakes too. If you’re headed for the hills and need energy, this is the place for you! I would recommend this place to anyone interested in exploring this unique and beguiling corner of Italy. Along with visiting places like Positano, Amalfi and Sorrento, there’s so much to see and do right here on your doorstep. There are beautiful viewpoints, short trails and, of course, the different routes on the Path of the Gods (including the delightful lower route to charming Praino). Sit in the square with a coffee or something stronger, eat the fine local produce that gives the region such pride, and then head back to Al Chiara di Luna to the warmest welcome.

The location, perfect away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. Very peaceful retreat after busy days of touring the Amalfi coast. Great start point for many walks including the Path of the Gods. Great location for visits to Positano, Amalfi, Ravello etc. Good choice of restaurants within walking distance. La Selva Ristorante very good. Property was immaculate. Room spacious with everything you could need. Bed very comfortable,room and en-suite spotlessly clean. Downstairs a fantastic space for breakfast and meeting other travellers on an evening sharing a homemade Limoncello. Ample parking for hire cars. The B&B has been renovated and filled with love and joy. The hosts Pietro and Lucia are exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Very knowledgeable about the local area and always willing to assist with tips and ideas. It was our pleasure to meet them and hope we will again. As per previous posts the breakfast was tremendous. Homemade with fresh homegrown produce, beautifully presented each morning. I have many photos but don’t want to spoil the surprise.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this jewel-like location in Bomerano. The place is beautiful, but the heart of the place is a wonderful couple, Lucia and Pietro. We chose the location bc it is close to the Path of the Gods. To be honest, everything was unequalled: the kindness of the hosts, the purity of the food (they have been doing everything together: maintenance, producing the delicious food on their farms), the small but significant add-ons, like Pietro’s 1960’ Fiat. 😊It really was a heart warming, family-like experience, if we go back, we’ll definitely return to Lucia&Pietro

We liked everything about the property and the hosts. They are super super hosts and they took care of us and our needs like they would do for their own children. I have never experienced such hospitality before in my travel experience. If any one is going to Amalfi, I highly recommend that staying at AlChiro with Pietro and Lucia will enhance your entire experience! I want to thank them again for all that they did for us and other guests. We were really lucky to have found you guys and such a nice accommodation.

- Everything! - Lucia and Pietro are the main staff, and they’re great—helpful, accommodating, kind. Pietro gave me a rose :) and Lucia’s homemade limoncello is fantastic. We felt so welcomed by them. - Agerola is GORGEOUS—think lush green fields and bright purple mountains. The town itself is easily accessible from the hotel and there are lots of cute little businesses nearby. - The hotel is clean and smells fantastic. It’s also very well-decorated.

- The property itself is fantastic, but be aware that it can be difficult and time-consuming to get down to the Amalfi coast proper. The bus ride to and from Amalfi was uncomfortable, especially because I deal with motion sickness.

I booked Al Chiaro di luna after reading many reviews talking about this place. I can say that the B&B met all our expectations. The level of cleanliness is extraordinary. Lucia is the best welcoming host and provided us with a lot of information about the area, where to go, the hidden gems of the Amalfi Cost, and the best way of getting there. As I rented a car and drove myself there, Lucia was very helpful in showing the best parking places in the area. The breakfast is not from this world, so many types of pastries, different types of cheese, homemade jam, eggs in the way you like it, many types of ☕️, tea and so many choices that fulfill a traveller's dream. The B&B is located in Agerola, which is a nice calm city about 45 minutes from Amalfi and 50 minutes from Postiano by car. Some say it's far ahead, but we didn't notice any difficulties in getting to all the existing locations as we enjoyed the beautiful views on the road. The location is fantastic as it's located between Amalfi and Positano in the map 20 minutes drive from the seperating point between the 2 largest and most important cities on the Amalfi Cost. To those who love hiking, this is the place for you as it's 13 minutes walk from the path of the gods. If you're traveling by your car, and can drive there as it's not easy so I recommend renting a small car and there is a free parking at Al Chiaro di luna. The bus station is a 350-meter walk around the block and takes to all the major cities in the cost. There is also the possibility of renting a scooter in Agerola city center, which is about 600 meters from the B&B. I will definitely recommend this amazing place as my wife and I really enjoyed our journey there.

The hosts are really welcoming and will come out of their way to accommodate, help, give all kind of information to you. The breakfast they offer is absolutely stunning, many home made products, from the ham to the lovely fresh pastries and honey. The place is very quiet, spacious, only 4 rooms, you feel home… there are restaurants (authentic and very cheap) at walking distance. To visit the Amalfi coast, you have the option of taking a bus, it is an about 30 mn. There is a free parking at the place which is a luxury in the area. All in all, is it certainly one of the best options of stay in the Amalfi coast.

Ten nights in Italy, this is our favorite hotel! No doubt at all! We will highly recommend this treasure to couples and solo travelers who love quiet and peaceful vacation. We've received a warm welcome upon arrival with fresh juice and coffee. Maria is so informative about the area and gave us very detailed suggestions for the God's path trekking. Her husband is also friendly and passionate who helped us so much during the trip. I will never forget the home-made king's breakfast. You will get plenty of choices of food and each one of them is so delicious. Hopefully we will get a chance to come back for a longer stay.
