The location, Parking was available close bye. Parking was hard to find but when found was close. Host was good. Breakfast was fine. Sicilian pasties. I stated that I wasn’t really a sweet pasty lover. Host then supplied savoury pasties for me. The host was very attentive and offered to clean the room everyday we were there.

The pictures on Booking.com did not reflect the true nature of the property. I thought the property was antique but our room was modern. Did not know that our room would be on the 11th floor of a modern apartment block. Food shown on the website gave the impression of a different type of breakfast. Our room the toilet was hard to flush, often didn’t work, the plug in the basin didn’t work, the air conditioner was extremely noisey.

Amazing place. Spacious room with spacious bathroom and terrific, terrific view. And for 10 eur we even got That upgraded :) Sea and Valley of Temples view became direct and not side, even bigger bathroom, and a piano. But, both rooms are really great. You look at the windows and fall in love with the place. Some other practicalities below. We got breakfast in the room, felt very local, lots of things freshly made from the bakery, fruit, yogurt, juices, the owner helped with the dietary asks as well, it was super nice of him, thank you!! The owner also allowed us to leave bags earlier than checkin time, and we are very greatful for that as well. The place is before ZTL, and there are parking possibilities around. Free and underground garage 8 eur per day. The apartment building itself is oldish (just like almost all other buildings in Sicily), but inside is nice and clean, starting from the entry into the building.

The location was perfect, in the historical town with a breathtaking view to the Valley of Temples and to the sea. There were parking places in front of the house. We decided to take public transport to the town and the appartment was in a walkable distance from bus station/ train station. Our room was clean, functional, comfortable, exactly like in the pictures. The breakfast was a typical sweet delicious Sicilian breakfast, more than enough. Alf was a great host, friendly, helpful and flexible. We could leave our luggage at the place even after checking out. (We couldn't find a luggage store in the town and our bus left in the afternoon.)

The communication with Alfonso was excellent. He was very accommodating with an early check in and welcomed us very warmly. He provided us with lots of information and suggested the best entrance to park for the Valley of the Temples. He served a wonderful breakfast in our room with coffee, juice, yoghurts, and the most delicious pastries. We were on the 11th floor with beautiful views down to the Valley of the Temples, a couple of which were illuminated at night. The B and B is very close to the town and there is a covered and safe car park nearby at a cost of 8 euros a day. Alfonso is a great host.

Nothing. It was a great place to stay

The view of the valley is stunning and the location is right next to the main street in the center (though right outside the Limited Traffic Zone, so we could park for free close to the entrance). The host helped us find a spot (we had to wait a few minutes - there's also a cheap parking lot nearby in case the street is full). Breakfast was tasty and filling (sweet and savory pastries, juice, jam, coffee/tea).

The bathroom, though private, was external to the room. To get to it, you have to pass in front of the door of another room (which has an internal bathroom). We only stayed one night and didn't have any awkward encounters with the neighbors, but still it's something that should be mentioned (as Booking has the option to say "private external bathroom").

As my notes say, it was "Absolutely Fantastic" with a stunning view over the Valley of Temples and the green countryside from the 11th floor in a huge room. The location was perfect with everything in walking distance and a good selection of restaurants to pick from nearby. Alfie was the perfect host from advice on sights and travel hints to a great breakfast delivered to our dining table. Easy free parking available nearby. Just wished we had spent more than one night!

Had not one complaint! Would revisit in an instant.

Excellent view from the 11th floor unit and excellent breakfast served in suite. Alfonso was crate for recommendations and helping you handle arrangements. This is a high-rise apartment building with an elevator, and only five minutes by taxi from the train station, maybe a 15 minute walk. Also very close to the main attractions and tourist street.

The bed was just a little bit on the hard side

Excellent location in the historic centre with secure parking in close walking distance; Alfonso, the host , is exceptional, very helpful, and provided an absolutely fantastic breakfast with fresh pastries both sweet and savoury ( still warm), fruit juice, a variety of yoghurts and coffee which we had on a terrace with a view of the Valley of the Temples. The building had an elevator, which is greatly appreciated. It was a very short drive to the Valley of the Temples, and only 20 minutes to Scala dei Turchi

Nothing to complain about.

The views were stunning. We could see the Temples of the Valley from our window. The location was perfect for exploring the old town and within a short drive to the temples. The host was very helpful and friendly with good suggestions on where to go and how to get there. Parking was easy to find and close to the accommodation. The mattress was super comfortable and ensured a great sleep. The value was super good.

It was all good.

Unit was very nice. Very short walking distance to restaurants, and very not too far from the main site of Valley of the Temples. Host was very informative about sites in the area and provided good recommendations for visiting them. Host was very nice to provide a Sicilian breakfast.

Parking on the street can be tricky. I would definitely recommend a small rental car to get around if you have to drive. Elevator was small, but functional.
