The most important thing you should take away from this review: IF YOU ARE COMING FROM AGRIGENTO, DO NOT RELY ON GOOGLE MAPS! When entering Giardina Gallotti, follow the signs that will guide you to the hotel. Otherwise, you will end up in the fields. The hotel is located on a hill. If you choose rooms with a “sea” view, you’ll be rewarded with a truly beautiful panorama. The rooms are clean and equipped to standard hotel level. The gentleman at the reception was very friendly and helpful. He explained everything to us perfectly. The hotel includes a nice swimming pool and a restaurant, which is open until 11:00 p.m. The service could be a bit more attentive, but on the other hand, they took care of guests even long after closing time. Prices are reasonable, and the food quality is also good. Breakfast is included in the stay and is very good. Summary: If you are coming from the Valley of the Temples, the accommodation offers very good value for money.

Check-in was very easy and the owner gave directions to a good restaurant nearby since the hotel restaurant was closed that night. Comfortable bed, good shower, and easy free parking. Breakfast the next morning was a highlight of a month in Italy and Sicily. It was an extensive buffet of both savory (cheese, meats, olives, etc) and sweet (pastries, yoghurt, croissants, even cannoli) options plus juices and coffee/tea.

Nothing. A warning however: The hotel is more remote than I expected based on the distance from Agrigento. Using Googlemaps for direction, I wasn't sure we were on the right track until we pulled up in front of the facility. If you're driving, look for the direction signs in town; Gmaps seemed a bit confused about directions in the last 200 - 300 meters. Once you find it, it's a very nice hotel.

This was a wonderful place. The room was small but comfortable and we had a small balcony to sit on. The hotel was very nice with a pool. The area is not right in agrigento so at first I was bummed, but we ended up living the location. We ate dinner at restaurant which was very good then the breakfast buffet was amazing. We ate so happy with Montmare B&B The view is awesome. The Valley of temples was amazing and the towns around this area.

Elevator so slow kind of freaks you out but thankfully there was one.

The staff went above and beyond! The property was clean. The kids loved the pool! Great food if you eat there! The view was very nice!

It is at the top of the mountain, so some of the roads were kinda scary if you are not used to being on roads like that. Beware google may try and take you across a non paved road on the top of the mountain to get to the hotel. There is a paved road through town just double check the way google takes you.

The views , the pool and the restaurant are really great! The hotel owners( son and mother) were so great and friendly! The place is clean and the breakfast was amazing! The lady that made the capuchino for breakfast, was very good she takes care of all the tables with a smile on her face and makes the capuchino perfectly!! The roads are not so great once you get out of the main highway but it’s worth the trip once you get to the hotel! We had an issue once we checked out due to much rain over night but a wonderful gentleman (God sent) helped us ! Amazing human being! I don’t even know his name ( he is not with the hotel) but everyone in Sicily is very friendly and welcoming!

The value is awesome! The breakfast fantastic 😍 The restaurant for dinner was also amazing and great prices! Everyone so nice!

We arrived very tired so we were super happy to find that we can have dinner there in a restaurant. The food was really very good. The pool was very refreshing and it worked till the restaurant was open! The next day we were allowed to stay in pool area after check-out. Breakfast was very good, it had great variety of food.

One bottle of water in the fridge was called mini bar and information about it was put near the bed, not near the fridge. It seemed like they were trying you did not notice and drink 2.5€. C'mon, tourists are so exhausted because of hot weather and you do business with 40cnt worth bottle of water insted you make a surprise and leave that cold water to refresh and make them happy.

The staff is super helpful and friendly. We lost our passports along the way and they were extremely helpful during our stay. The view from the B&B was beautiful as you're on top of the mountain. You can see the same view from the swimming pool area, which was very spacey and has an area under the shadows as well. We also really liked breakfast here, there were many options and fresh fruits

Check your route before you drive to this B&B, because the roads can be very tricky. In whole Sicily this hotel was by far the scariest to drive due to the swirls of the roads and sometimes not being able to read the signs, you can end up on a road with no asphalt and it can get dangerous. Because of this we didn't want to risk driving into the city (we can't recommend that either) but luckily they have a very good restaurant so we didn't mind it :-)

Fantastic stay here. It’s located in a really small Italian town in the mountain overlooking Agrigento and the sea. The drive here will add about 10 minutes to your day but the experience of taking the roads leading here are a wonderful part of the trip. The breakfast here is fabulous (as shown in the images) and the rooms are very clean. We had the quadruple sea view room for two of us and it was larger than expected. The bed was relatively comfortable and very clean. The towels were also better than most hotels we stayed at while in Italy for a month. The hotel had plenty of parking, and the area felt really safe. When back to this area, we will be here and recommend our friends/family to enjoy their trip here. The host, Michel, was fantastic to deal with and he gave us so many suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. All of which were absolutely on point. He went out of his way to inquire on our journey route to make recommendations that align with our schedule. These two Canadians will be back here at this lovely hotel.

The staff was extraordinarily nice, welcoming, and accommodating. We had great breakfasts and dinners on the terrace with an amazing view from the mountains to the sea. Beautiful place and beautiful people. The room was also very comfortable, with nice and clean sheets and bed.

The only downside was that we had only a trickle of water coming from the shower. Especially coming from the beach that was a bit of a struggle, but otherwise the bathroom was very clean and comfortable as well :)

We liked the view - exceptional from every angle. Its very quiet and relaxing. The food is also very tasty, fresh and prepared with love. Coffee - good. Breakfast is also with a lot of options, if you are on a certain diet - you can have lactose or gluten free stuff to eat. The bathroom was clean, there is also bidet.
