The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast very enjoyable.

There was no indication of the steps and stairs we had to negotiate for all levels. Had I been travelling alone I would have found the access very difficult. The description says that English among other languages were spoken but only the reception staff was able to communicate with us and after checking in we didn’t see her again. The entrance to the car park (north) was very difficult to manoeuvre even a small car. This was not made clear on our booking. As previous reviews have mentioned the only places to eat were in Agrigento and you would have struggled to get there without a car or paid a significant sum to the hosts for a “taxi “

The Villa de Sole Relais is a haven of calm and tranquillity. It has a charming swimming pool, surrounded by pretty plants and green vegetation, and nice views up to Agrigento cathedral on the hilltop. My room was very comfortable, attractively decorated and extremely clean, with direct access to a small terrace and the pool. The continental breakfast offered an abundant choice, with the sheep's milk ricotta a particular high point! I much enjoyed eating my breakfast on the sunny terrace. An equal high point of my visit was the charming owners - Toto, Antonella and their daughter Carla. They went out of their way to make me feel at home and to help me with my trips to the Valle dei Templi, into Agrigento, and to the railway station. A really special family! Nothing really! The situation outside town is a little inconvenient if you don't have a car. But the compensation is a very peaceful and pretty setting with a swimming pool.

Charming and friendly family run Bed and Breakfast with exquisite decor and wonderful facilities including a welcoming pool and terrace. Homemade pastries and cakes for breakfast were delicious. The city was on our doorstep and with the help of Tony the friendly taxi driver we had no problem getting in to dine in the evening. Superb valley of the Temples close by and many other interesting places to visit. We would recommend very much this property to enjoy a great break. Thank you Carla and Marianna!

I really recommend this stay if you are visiting Agrigento or the temples!! It looks even better in real life than on the pictures. *Room was clean,very good bed+pillow, large, seatings in front of the terrace(We had the blue room in front of the pool). *We were able to park the car behind the gate * swimming pool + area is really nice! Full of green and big enough for the guests. Also outside shower present * 4min drive from the old town Agrigento (which is very cosy at night) * the breakfast was one of the best We had in Sicily! (Very big and lots of options!!) * the view is heavenly! * if people write about busy road and lots of noise, its really not that bad. There is a road next to it, but not like its a highway or so. I can assure you, you feel perfectly zen around the pool area and no trouble sleeping at night! + big : very lovely friendly family! Carla(daughter gave us friendly welcome and lots of information) and Antonella was very friendly at breakfast ( she speaks french btw!) We had a lovely stay and would gladly stay here again!

Very nice property, room with pool view highly recommended. The pool and surroundings are fabulous. Private, gated parking a bonus. The staff were very nice with lots of excellent advice about the area. It is very easy to access the valley of the temples from here. As a bonus, I left some clothes behind and the owner has offered to post them for me, above and beyond kind people 🙂

air conditioning must have a governor on it. we couldn't get it to cool the room down for hours. Great having a pool but it needs to be skimmed and vacuumed daily for this sort of place. Could also do with a chest of drawers for people staying a few days rather than just a hanging closet

Everything! Antonella is a great host - we got a welcome drink on arrival, and lots of information about restaurants and things to do. Communication by whattsapp before arrival (and for any information whilst staying there),was great. The room was lovely and quiet, with a great shower and a balcony with a spectacular view across the valley, and down to the beautiful swimming pool below. Breakfast was delicious and always included some homemade cakes. Fresh oranges were available to make juice with a juicing machine. A car is a necessity here, but parking is in a locked yard for which we were given a remote control to open the gate. And on the one day we took a taxi in and out of town, Antonella helped us organise that. Many thanks to Antonella, Toto (and their friendly 3-legged dog Hugo!)

Good breakfast with view over to Agrigento. Secure parking and a nice pool for a late afternoon swim. Room was comfortable and despite being near the road noise was not a problem.

The property is close to a busy main road and it can be tricky to turn in or depart safely given the speed or local traffic.

Having the villa practically to ourselves… to laze around the pool in privacy.. the breakfast was really wonderful and the hosts were so respectful and mannerable

You need a car to leave the property or to go out for dinner… it’s not possible to walk any place

We liked the view of Agrigento from our terrace. The room was very clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool which we noticed was cleaned daily. The family were friendly and were keen to give us helpful information about the area.

We had to use the car to get anywhere because the property is back from a highway.
