Steep hill to get down to main restaurant/ shopping area.

Benny is a great host. He was very welcoming and friendly. The room was in an excellent condition, spacious, clean, comfortable bed. If we were to go back to Agrigento, we would definitely stay in BnB Sant'Alfonso.

Arriving late in the evening, due an issue with the trains, we were so grateful that Benny stayed up to welcome us. Infact, Benny really was the perfect host, looking after our every needs and providing a delicious breakfast. The room had a lovely view over to the sea and the bathroom was huge and luxurious. Whilst you'll get fit climbing up the stairs to the B&B, you'll be rewarded with the views and being situated in a relaxed part of the town with a couple of nice restaurants/bars. Agrigento tends to get slightly bad press, but we found it to be a really friendly town, with a lively main street, full of places to eat and drink. The Valley of the Temples is certainly worth the hype, but you need to give yourself plenty of time to do it justice. We walked down to it in the evening, when it was cooler and got the local bus back up the hill afterwards.

Benny is an incredible host - very courteous and went out of his way to host and help us. Clearly has a passion for hosting. Provided lots of helpful advice for the city and was available whenever we needed him. Our room was spacious and there was a lovely bathroom. The terrace was exceptional with incredible views of the city, sea and Valley of the Temples. Good spot so you can easily walk into town and park nearby.

Nothing it was perfect!

we stayed at this property for 4 nights and it was well worth the stay. we where welcomed by the owner, Maximiliano, and he showed us the room first before processing our check in just to make sure we were satisfied. That was surprising and very welcoming. The room is large and the bedding was very comfortable and the quality of the bedding was excellent. The bathroom was large and very clean. The shower was large and great water pressure and plenty of hot water. It had a rain shower head and a side wand. Breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast. The breakfast room had spectacular views. Small refrigerator with some drinks available to purchase was in the room.

good location, great bedding, we felt very welcomed here! very quiet, and a beautiful view. our host took great care of us, even placed a reservation at a local (and delicious!) pizzeria. strongly recommend !

My room was fantastic, the best of my Sicily travels. With a separate room and an amazing private deck offering a commanding view even to the Valley of Temples. The room's bed also extremely comfortable. One of the main reasons this place is so special is the staff or the "host" Benny who is so good natured, supportive and a wealth of information. This is a place a highly recommend and I would stay here again.

Really nothing, though felt the breakfast could have offered a few more options. Perhaps have some cold cuts and cheeses.

Great host! We loved Benny a lot! He gave some great restaurant recommendations and we loved chatting with him at breakfast, really interesting fella. Nice fluffy towels and toiletries provided. Shower was really large and spacious. Good pastries and espressos for breakfast as well. Parking near the Duomo was easy and we didn't have any problems finding a spot when we returned in the evening.

There only negative comment about our particular room would be that it only had tinted mirrors which made it nearly impossible to apply makeup in the morning. Would be a perfect score if there were normal mirrors!
