Nice modern rooms with a small balcony and a wonderful view of the sea and temples. Good A/C (although blows on the bed a little) and a decent shower. The beds were ok, had a slight lean to the middle but I still slept well. There is a good sized shared kitchen area with large fridge, table & chairs and a sofa & tv. We luckily had 3 rooms on the same floor so had this area to ourselves. Short 5 min walk (up quite a few steps) to the centre of Agrigento. Parking is free on the street but you occasionally have to seek out a space.

Extra charge for kitchen use in case you want to cook (we didn't and ate out in town). Breakfast is fairly basic with pastries, juice and coffee. There is no fresh fruit or cereals if you prefer that. The pastries are good ones though (as is the coffee)!

The location was great, we had the car parked right next to the apartment. The room was clean and the balcony view was great (facing the Valley of the Temples).

Just the breakfast. Only the sweets were offered along with coffee and juices (pistaccio and chocolate croissants were delicious by the way), but there was nothing salty (like fresh bread, cheese, salami, eggs). As we had a 3 hour trip planned after the checkout, we were missing something concrete to eat.

The room was in a recently renewed building, so everything was very new. The building is near the city centre and close to Valle Dei Templi, although the street itself is not very beautiful. The instructions for the self-check-in were clear, and we had a smooth experience. The room and private bathroom were comfortable and quiet, with a sea view. Breakfast was on the first floor of the building, simple but delicious (cornetti, caffè/cappuccino, juices). Overall, we were very satisfied.

The shower soap was not enough, I recommend asking in advance for more.

Really nice small hotel super central in Aggrigent. We had an amazing view on Vale di Tempel and a small balcony. Breakfast: I like the small croissants and the nice lady which made me coffee. It felt like she wanted to feed us :). Parking: You can park at the street right in front, we found something even so we arrived in the evening. Downtown: It is a 5 minute walk to the city center with tons of nice restaurants.

Everything was wonderful. Clean and modernly furnished hotel. Room was with a wonderful view of the surroundings and the sea. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very tasty breakfast. The host is also very kind and responsive, takes care of the guests with great care and courtesy. Gave us great recommendations for sightseeing and places to eat. I strongly recommend!

It was a beautiful property. There was a balcony in our unit, overlooking the city. The spacious room was tastefully furnished. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was of good size, bright and clean.

Parking was very difficult. We had to park over a km away. The street outside of the property was dirty We understand these are not the fault of the host but it is reality of staying at this property. We think the content of the breakfast can be improved by providing more varieties, for example, there were just the sweet croissants and dry toast. It would be nice to also provide fresh bread that can be toasted. Some fresh pies or pastries or fruit would be nice, too.

Everything. A tastefully renovated Roman Palazzo with a crisp modern interior. A lovely room featuring a traditional balcony with seaview. Superb bathroom separated from the bedroom by a pocket-door. Host WhatsApp communications well appreciated, giving us location and security code for the front door. Once inside our bedroom was open with key in lock. Easily the best method of self-entry we have come across. Good breakfast and staff were lovely. A short walk into the old town for bars and restaurants and, for us, the train station. Would definitely return and recommend Esseneto Rooms to anyone visiting Agrigento.

Not Esseneto Rooms fault but a warning; Agrigento is situated on a steep slope, so be prepared for lots of steps.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. We had a room with a balcony with an amazing view. We could see the landscape around Agrigento and the sea. The room was sufficiently big and had everything we needed. The bathroom was very spacious and really nice. At breakfast we could choose from different kinds of delicious croissants and crisp bread with spreading. There was also a friendly staff member serving coffee. When we arrived the hotel owner gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants in the area and other helpful information.

The property was very clean & the owner Riccardo was very helpful. The views are wonderful - you can see the sea & some of the temples. We had a balcony with a lovely table & chairs, the shower & aircon were good & there was a fridge. The building & apartments are newly renovated.

If you are on foot there are stairs from the station or the historic district to reach the property but if you have luggage you can access the property without using the stairs. It’s easy to access by car.

Great location! There are some stairs to climb but it was very easy to access the main city. The view is absolutely gorgeous. You can see the sea as well as some of the Roman temples. We parked on the street and had no problem. The street isn’t too busy that there never was any parking. The staff was great and gave amazing recommendations. :)

The air conditioning wasn’t the best so if that matters to you, I would choose wisely. We just opened the windows and balcony doors to cool off.
