Location of the hotel for us was perfect. Away from the hustle of Capri town but not too far away to visit easily. Anacapri is very beautiful and has lovely restaurants, cafes, shops in easy walking distance from the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Our room was gorgeous, spotlessly clean. Good supply of toiletries if you needed them. A well stocked minibar. The garden was very nice and equally well kept. We enjoyed the breakfast plenty of choices. We would most definitely stay again and would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was very spacious. Very comfortable bed. I appreciated the little extras : body lotion, bottle of hand cleansing gel, shower kit, etc. Also I had a bathtub in the room. I could relax after the many hours of walking everyday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is off the main road and therefore very quiet.

There isn't really something I didn't like. Perhaps the only disadvantage is that if you want to take a boat trip or go to the beach you have to take the bus or walk a lot but this is obvious when when you see where the hotel is situated.

Beautiful room with lovely balcony. Great to sit out on and watch all the little lights come on in the hillside in the evening. Rosa on reception was lovely and helpful. It's a little outside of Anacapri meaning it was peaceful but I had problems walking and under normal circumstances would have walked everywhere but had to get taxis. The taxis were very quick, fun and prompt when the front office called them for us. A great base - if you have no mobility issues

Breakfast was limited.

The hotel had nice rooms and gardens, with an old world feel and a very restful environment. It only takes a brisk 10-min walk to the centre where there are eateries and shops and even a local market. Most attractions are also within walking distance. The hotel’s sister restaurant, Gelsomina, is highly recommended. Dont skip the walk to the neaby observation point near the restaurant after your meal; it has magnificient views. If you have dinner there you can catch an amazing sunset if the weather is good.

Would be good if the hotel could provide complimentary pick up from the marina, like some other hotels.

Walking down a meandering path set in beautiful lush green gardens I walked into reception and was greeted with a warm friendly welcome. My room was large, bright and opened onto a terrace overlooking the gardens. The bathroom was large with bath and shower. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh fruit,sweet cakes & croissants ,cheeses,salami ,eggs and plenty of coffee & tea options. This is a family business everyone is so friendly & helpful. It's a little bit further out but is only 10-15 minute walk to the main piazza of Anacapri. If you take a taxi from Marina Grande expect to pay 35 euros plus however the scenery is worth every cent ! May be the bus on the way back .

It's very clean, cozy, amazing breakfast. It is afordable. The location is very good, although is in Anacapri, because there is a bus stop kind of 500 m distance, also this bus stop is not in the main station, and it is nice, because you take the bus before most of the people. The staff made staying at Villa Ceselle such a wonderful experience! They provided us with great recommendations that made our stay in Capri so special. We felt as if we were family as opposed to guests. The breakfast was great and the location to Anacapri was a 5 minute walk which made it easy to dine, shop and enjoy the town. I would gladly stay at Villa Ceselle again!

It’s a beautiful, well run, sophisticated space in Anacapri. We loved the fact it was a quiet haven well away from the madness of Capri. The staff were lovely without exception. The breakfast was perfect with friendly people and great coffee on tap. It was just a short walk to the centre of Anacapri which was beautiful. A wonderful place.

There was nothing we didn’t like. A couple of points to mention though: Capri is very busy indeed so getting off the ferry and finding a taxi to the hotel took time and patience in the heat. The hotel pool isn’t at the hotel, but the hotel does provide prompt free transfers (but the pool isn’t free). It is however one of the best pools and restaurants I’ve ever been to with incredible views and we had a very memorable day - but the total bill brought tears to the eyes. In summary this place is truly wonderful but not for those on a budget!

The property is nice, clean and well maintained. The breakfast in the morning is wonderful and the setting in the garden is just peaceful and gorgeous.

When I made the reservation I forgot to change the number of occupants of the room to 2, so when we got to the check-in counter they charged me an additional 30 Euros for my husband. I booked a double room as me and my husband celebrated our 12th anniversary so I found it a bit distasteful to charge additional for the second person. I have worked in hotels and stayed at many different hotels around the world and never had to pay for the second occupant of a double room. Also, the beds are two single mattresses pushed together, so it constantly opened in the middle during the night, and was uncomfortable. Regardless, it was a very good stay overall.

+ Size of the room + Aircon. Although the upper floor (bedroom area) is so hot that it was impossible to sleep there. Had to sleep on downstairs sofa. + Breakfast. Quite basic, not bad, not great. Bread, yougurt, scrambled, some fruits, Juice, ham and cheese on breads. + Lovely garden + Anacapri much more nicer area and quiter than Capri, so location.
