If you are looking for a peaceful retreat and that feeling of being at home away from home during your visit to the Isle of Capri, then Villa Damecuta B&B (located in Anacapri) is a great option! We visited Capri in July and stayed in the Double Room with Extra Bed (sea view/garden view) and found the room to be very clean, spacious and comfortable. The AC was also very effective which made our stay so much more pleasant given the heat wave at the time. The breakfast included plenty of options from breads, jams, freshly made eggs based on your preference and even homemade tiramisu! The host - Raffaella, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable - she organized our pickup and dropoff to the port by booking the car ride for us, helped us get reservations at restaurants of our choice for dinner and lunch, promptly responded to all queries and gave us detailed information & tips for our stay on the island that helped us maximize our sightseeing experience. Laundry service was also available for a small cost. We arrived early in Anacapri and Raffaella allowed us to check in early without any additional charge. The B&B is about a 10 mins walk from the main square of Anacapri yet never felt too far away from the hustle bustle. If you would like to avoid the walk to the B&B with your luggage upon arrival/departure, it is best to book your car ride through Raffaella - she was able to arrange the ride for us that dropped us off right at the doorstep of the B&B on arrival whereas when you take a taxi from the port on your own, it drops you off at the Anacapri square instead of bringing you to the B&B. I would highly recommend staying at this B&B if you choose to stay in Anacapri.

Everything is perfect. Raffaella and her family are the best host I’ve ever met 😊 1) Location The B&B is located in Anacapri where is super peaceful, quiet and safe. About 10 minutes walking, there’s a bus termini. And you could take bus to Capri, Faro and Marina Grande. Very convenient! If you have luggages, highly recommend you to book a round way shuttle from Raffaella. Otherwise, you need to wait for a long time at Marina Grande bus stop as there’re so many people and the bus is tiny. In the balcony and terrace, you could enjoy the sunset which is so beautiful 😍 2) Host Raffaella and her family are so kind. Will always be there if you need any help. Once you arrive at the B&B, Raffaella will share a paper map with you, introduce the beautiful scenes of Capri and share some recommendations with you, which is very helpful for planning the trip in Capri! 3) Breakfast The best breakfast I should say. You got tasty croissants, yogurt, some snacks, coffee, bread and fresh omelette. The omelette is so good. The eggs are from the chicken raised by Raffaella. 👍🏻

Raffaella was great. She arranged for a car to pick us up from and drop us off at the port (for an extra fee), which was greatly appreciated, and we were able to check in early. She gave us suggestions on what to see on the island and recommendations on how to get around. The apartment was clean, spacious, and bright, and there was daily housekeeping. The breakfast on the terrace was excellent (our daughter said it was the best breakfast she ever had). We watched the sunset from the terrace and it was just perfect, as was our lovely host.

We had a fantastic experience! Everything was absolutely perfect ,from the warm and welcoming behavior of the hosts to the detailed information they provided. The location was excellent, and the view was simply breathtaking. We truly felt taken care of and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay. Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like , everything was absolutely wonderful. From start to finish, it exceeded our expectations in every way.

When we arrived at the property, Raffaela was already at the gate receiving us. She is a very professional & kindhearted host which is interested in your schedule and is happy to accommodate whatever is needed. as soon as we arrived and settled in, she was already there (on our request ) with a map and checking out what was most appropriate to visit in Capri & Anacapri and the surrounding areas. we then realised that we needed a tour guide which she contacted and was available for us to take us around the area that we had discussed and she recommended & we wanted to see and everything was very fun & in the most high spirit and exactly what we expected from a trip to Capri . The local guide was great which made the experience even better .

Rafella and family members/staff were lovely and accommodating. When we arrived she gave us a map of capri and Anacapri and took time to explain the best places to visit and how to get there. You can buy bus tickets directly from them which made sure we didn’t purchase the wrong ones or overspend by accident. The breakfast was delicious with fresh cooked omelette and super tasty fresh croissants, yogurt and patisserie with coffee and juice. The rooms were immaculately cleaned and quiet. The property is also situated with a lovely terrace with beautiful views whilst enjoying breakfast.

Raffaella is a great host! She's very engaged with guests, providing a small map with tips and recommendations on where to visit and how to get there. Before arrival we received a routine message giving directions on how to get to the property and where to get off the minibus, which was very helpful and necessary given the logistics of the island and the location of the property. A nice breakfast is served on a lovely terrace with sea views. Going back to the port we used the private shuttle arranged by Raffaella for 25 euros, which was well worth it considering the luggage, stroller and long lineups for the minibus. Overall, good value for money!

The internet signal was very weak in our room so we basically didn't have WiFi in the room! The location is off the main road, a 14-min walk to Piazza Vittoria, Anacapri center. It would be nice to have a few English language channels on TV.

Everything! Of my 35 years as a world traveler, and after 43 countries, Rafaela is the best host we’ve ever had. She puts her heart and soul in making a great trip; even better. You can see she enjoys what she does and takes pride in going above and beyond other hosts. I’m can’t say enough about her. She’s the best! I would never consider staying anywhere else except with her.

Amazing host Raffaella, she was very very attentive and looked after us. She arranged a boat trip for us which was fantastic. There was no mountain to high. She offered lots of recommendations for places to eat and the breakfast was amazing - we got omelette everyday with fresh chicken eggs from the garden! We really loved Raffaella - you should stay here just for the experience of the host. the room was clean and tidy and did us just perfect. It is close to anacapri square and away from the busy areas. Bus links to around the island very close and convenient mini market. amazing stay, would definitely go back in a heart beat.

My friend and I loved our stay at this property. We felt very welcomed and really appreciated all of Raffaella’s help. Raffaella organised a private transfer from the port to the property, gave us a lot of recommendations and helped us navigate the buses. The property itself was comfortable and had everything we needed for our two night stay. The location was amazing and it was really nice to be a bit removed from the Marina Grande (which was very very busy). The view was spectacular and it was lovely to watch the sunset from the property. The breakfast was delicious and very filling. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you Raffaella!
