It’s rustic character yet the restaurant was very rustic yet modern.

The only negative was the A/C had a tough time maintaining the temp to a cool 24C. Best it could do was 26C. Also had to keep the window wooden shutters closed at all times to not heat up the room so it was always dark in the bedroom. Keep in mind we were also on the 2nd floor will vaulted ceiling. On our last day at 35C outside our room was at 27C. Suggest a lower floor for the summer and higher floor for the winter. Outside of that everything was amazing and highly recommend the property.

The amazing nature, beautiful surroundings, as it seems to be a family hotel, they know you - you feel like a part of their family. I have a milk protein allergy, so they help to choose me the best dinner and change a dessert for me. The food in the restaurant is DELICIOUS! I forgot the ID card there, they informed me immediately, super! Thank you for this amazing stay! The staff is amazing.

A little bit noisy evenings (there is a bar) when there is some celebration or something. I recommend to double-check the ordered food if you have some allergy, I don’t know if they have changed by mistake the names of the food in Italian / English menu, or they just badly remember the ordered food - they gave me a very delicious food but with Parmesan (the luck that it was heat prepared so it was not a severe problem for me), I ordered the food without milk products in it, so it was a change. But we are people, it was also my fault to not double check before eating. I am sure they would kindly change without problems.

Beautiful location and a great place to relax. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The food and service for breakfast and at the restaurant was excellent! Having a winery attached was a bonus.

No small refrigerator in the room. The room also seemed a little dark. The shutters were closed the entire time and we didn't know if opening was an option. But, we weren't in the room very long so it wasn't a big deal.

The place is very clean, cozy, and full of character. Small details have been thoughtfully considered to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for visitors.

Very nice location and building(s) close to an old mill remade into a modern small hydropower facility. Charming personnel and nice rooms. Could be made completely dark (important). Quiet as well.

Well nothing really, apart from having a gym or so, but for this type of hotel with restaurant one cannot expect that.

Everything was perfect. Excellent dinner. Good breakfast. Big parking. Bar for wine tasting. Top personnel.

Not much really

We were on our way to cross from Italy to Slovenia and we found this peace of Italian heaven. A beautiful renew castle, near a river and fields of vineyards. The hotel restaurant was fantastic, the team at the desk was friendly and our room was cozy and romantic.

Everything. Staff, location and facilities were all amazing.
