There are places where there is a simplicity that you never forget. Other places have something extra that makes unforgettable. It makes you feel good to feel important and well taken care of. That's Del Prato. A simple place with the warmth of its owner Sandra, who made me feel like was at grandma's house. I don't speak Italian but I understood and felt understood. In the center of Bagnoregio, just a walk to Civita. I recommend it ❤️

It’s a house with about 800 years. Stairs like climbing a tree, but is a short one.

I was there for one night during september. Sandra and Salvatore went out of their way to make me feel comfortable in their beautiful house in the middle of Bagnoregio. I would definitely recommend them any day, and will surely come back. As others have already mentioned, Civita is a walking distance from the house. I was served a very nice breakfast made out of different breads, mermelade, yogurt, and coffee in the morning.

Nothing bad at all. Experience was perfect.

The apartment was very comfortable. The renovations that they had made were very well done. Esp. loved the tiny balcony out of the upstairs sleeping nook. Great view. Location was wonderful with good restaurants and a locals coffee bar.

My only problem were the steps to get to the apartment. Also Parking was a bit of a hassle because of the market on the Monday. Otherwise the owners were very accomodating and really lovely.

I highly recommend this place for the strategic position, cleaningness, cozyness, but above all for the host s kindness. You can have the chance to taste Sandra's breakfast, a variety of homemade pastry delicatessen. You feel better than home. I will come back for sure. They know how to take care of the guests!

Excellent location, private, comfortable and clean. Sandra’s personal touch of home baked goods served at breakfast. She connects with every guest that stays at her B&B with great love and trust.

The room we selected comprised three sleeping areas, a lounge, kitchen and roof terrace plus bathroom. The layout was cleverly done, with spiral staircases to the upper levels (numerous steps involved getting to the flat too, so not suitable for people with limited mobility). There was plenty of space for two people on our short stay. Sandra provided a delicious breakfast and a free parking permit for the nearby public car park (5 minute walk). Loading and unloading is tricky but possible if you ignore the parking restrictions, like the locals seem to! Civita old town is walkable from the B&B, taking about 30 minutes (with a drinks stop half way in bar Caffè Belvedere due to the heat). For some reason many places in Bagnoregio were closed that day. Luckily restaurants in Civita were open (pre-booking essential).

Be aware that the flat does not have a/c. As part of an old stone building, it is naturally cooled. A fan was provided, but sleeping in the flat was affected by the heat. Windows could be left open all night as Bagnoregio was relatively quiet.

Sandra's breakfast spread was amazing––every morning the table was covered with homemade cakes (both sweet & savory). I was there over Easter weekend and I loved spending my mornings chatting with Sandra and the other guests. My italian is a work-in-progress and they were so welcoming to me. My apartment was spacious, with a cute little terrace looking over the rooftops of the town. This is exactly the kind of place I love finding on my travels and I can't wait to come back!

It was not an issue for me, but the wifi does not reach the room exactly so if you needed it for work, you'd just have to pop over the main house next door.

The B&B was beautiful and had a cosy cottage feel. The location was optimal, close to all the main attractions. The host was so kind and helpful. I would recommend the B&B Del Prato to any couple seeking a relaxing break in the Italian countryside.

The owners made the most unforgettable breakfast which was the best meal I had for my entire trip. I wish I stayed longer

Nothing bad - all great

From the moment we arrived and welcomed, B and B Del Prato was a wonderful stay. The location ,in the center of the idyllic town of Bagnoregio is perfect for accessing day trips to Orvieto and Bolsena and a walk to Civita ~ each filled with enchantment. Our unit itself was a welcome comfort with a living room, kitchenette and two lofts offering ample sleeping arrangements. Our breakfast hostess, Sandra welcomed us as we enjoyed the start of our days in an Italian kitchen sharing wonderful conversation and delights~all homemade! We would return to Del Prata whenever our hearts are pulled to Italy again.

It was all wonderful. There can be no improvements on a wonderful stay that we had.
