Angelica brought breakfast to the apartment every morning, and she cleaned the apartment every day. We had access to garden dining and parking. The beach was at the end of the street with restaurants within walking distance. Our host, Angelica, was very warm and attentive.

If there is one negative it would be that there is not much to do on foot. The city of Bari with the shops, etc is about a 20 minute drive.

The accomodation was almost luxurious, it was an actual floor of a big house, kind of like an apartment. The host (Angelica) didn't speak english, however she was very kind and helpful, even in arranging transfers to far destinations (50km). The sea was at the end of the street (around 100metres)

The host didn't speak english, but nowadays translate apps eased the burden of the language barrier.

We really enjoyed staying at Valentino. The rooms are spacious, clean, quiet and have their own access and smoking area. Angelica put out the most amazing breakfast every morning and we sat in the lovely garden amongst all the wonderful animals: Picci, the friendliest French Bulldog, the tortoises, the doves. I'm learning Italian and Angelica chatted to me for hours over our three day visit, clearly and patiently. She is a lovely person and very interesting to talk to. She made us very welcome and introduced us to the family and friends who appeared during our stay. We really loved the location, too. We wanted to be outside Bari but close. Bari Palese is very close to the airport (but not too close, not noisy). It is not invaded by tourists but has several good restaurants along the seafront and places where you can swim easily. It is a very relaxed place and in the evenings families gather and sit outside together setting up tables and chairs and having their dinners along the front. At the end of the road there is the bus stop for the no. 1 bus which goes directly into the town centre. The train station is a little further about 15 minutes walk. We did day trips to Trani, Bari, and Polignano a Mare and came back to lovely Valentino for quiet, family evenings. Lovely.

A big beautiful apartment all to ourselves just steps away from the Adriatic Sea in a clean and quiet neighborhood. Our host Angelica is very sweet and kind. She fixed us a delicious breakfast and arranged taxi service as well.

Not a thing

The place was extremely clean, big bathroom, beautiful shower and linens replaced daily. Angelica was very attentive to our needs and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. There’s a little beach and many eateries within walking distance. Bari center is about a 15-minute drive away.

If this place had air conditioning, I would have rated it an absolute 10. The fan in the bedroom does help, but it’s noisier than air conditioning, and in extreme hear, would not adequately suffice.

The appartment was beyond expectance, very beautiful, stylish and comfortable in every way. There was a lot of space for our convenience indoors, but also a beautiful terrace outside. We wished we could have stayed longer than the one night we had booked. The family was so kind and welcoming, and our stay was perfect!

Nothing it was fantastic

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed as though we were family. We were shown the place which is very large and could be used as a private residence. Wifi worked great, the kitchen was well furnished, beds were comfortable. The location is only a few hundred yards from the waterfront. This was a great stay.

Location is not the best it is far from Bari itself but if you going to rent car is not a problem at all. There is no sandy beach only private beaches but not really good quality for swimming.
