Reception staff were very nice. Helped with organising taxis and suggested places to go in the neighbourhood. Breakfast is nice with lots of Italian cakes and mini pizzas, but there is also hard boiled eggs, sliced cheese, local salami, selection of cerials and fruits. The area is very quiet with a long sea promenade. It was nice even when it was stormy. There is a direct bus to downtown Bari and another one to the airport. As the name suggests, the building was most probably a convent, so there are narrow corridors, a fireplace. The double room we booked was larger than a regular hotel room and had two terraces with chairs.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport however; the hotel is located on a quiet street close to several small restaurants and a short distance to the seafront for a pleasant stroll and a meal after travelling. The room was very comfortable if a little dated in décor. The breakfast was very good with a huge selection of local pastries as well as a hot selection.

Our room faced the adjacent property, so no view, just a wall. The next-door property had a security light that stayed on all night so we were unable to open the window for air.

The hotel, in a residential area, was very convenient to the airport for the night before we flew home. We were easily able to drop our luggage and return our rental car. Staff was courteous, and the inclusion of a breakfast buffet was welcome. It is a hotel but because the building is old (historic) it can also be called a Masseria so there should be no confusion. We had dinner at a restaurant next door, convenient but more than that, the food delicious and the service great.

Friendly and helpful service, comfortable beds with nice pillows, good breakfast with lots of choice, excellent air conditioning in the rooms, interesting decor, 3 minute walk to the beach!

We had the wheelchair accessible room on the ground floor (although we did not request it), and so the shower was not inside a cubicle which resulted in water all over the floor, making the tiles very very slippery. Would have been useful to have something to dry the floor with.

Located close to the beach, the hotel is conveniently reached in 10 minutes from Bari-Palese Station. The station is about 15 minutes' walk from the hotel. The hotel staff are very nice and smiling and speak good English. Marica in particular was very helpful and took very good care of us all the time. She made our whole stay very comfortable with her attitude. Great rooms, air-conditioned.

Breakfast was very basic. More choice of bread or ham, salami would be good.

The building looks like a small castle, and it has its charm. I had a nice balcony as well. It is also very close to the beach and relatively close to the airport.

The room is very old-fashioned. The place was pretty small, even for a single bed. This is due to the structure of the place being old, so it is a trade-off.

It was a fantastic break from busy Rome. Bari is so quiet, so beautiful... We enjoyed the hotel, the surroundings and the people. We went to Bary Centrale by train and we could walk around.

It was great. Nothing to say. We would like to have bought food for the morning we left, but there were no places open. Not the hotel fault, of course.

The shower room attached to our friends' bedroom needed maintenance unfortunately. Comfortable bed with good quality linen.. Seaside at the end of the street and only a few minutes in a taxi from the airport. Great one night stay at the beginning of the holiday before travelling to Alberobello. I would happily stay again.

No kettle in our room. I asked staff if there was one I could borrow, but unfortunately not.

All hotel personnel was very friendly and available for all needs 24/7. The location is situated only around 10 minutes walk away from the train station. Furthermore, the seafront is down the street which makes it a perfect location. A small church is also nearby, about only 2 minutes walk.
