We booked a twin bed room, but when we arrived we had a double. Since the keys need to be picked up with a security code (provided via WhatsApp) we called Chiara, who spoke perfectly English (which is not common in our experience in smaller towns of Italy), and mentioned that we had booked a twin room. She handled this very accurately and directly we were provided with a new code, to pick up another key and we ended up with a double bed room apartment with kitchen without any extra costs: great service and customer care! She made us feel like at home. Breakfast was in the basement which was nicely decorated abundant although too many sweets for our tastes (but this is personal and depending on your preference). Overall excellent stay with a great location next to Lucca. We also highly recommend the restaurant Molin della Volpe di Fanucchi Luca & C. Sas, which is 6 minutes drive uphill and serves excellent food! We ate here twice, and both sea food as well as the Truffle pasta were excellent! The staff is very friendly and although English is not well spoken here, still with hand gestures and facial expressions you will get far enough to experience true Italian hospitality!

Everything wonderful holiday in a stunning location. Excellent and quick access to and from the airport. A great spot as a base for exploring the area. The train station is not far away. Parking is right next to the hotel. Comfortable room and fantastic breakfasts with delicious coffee. The villa is beautifully decorated in a Tuscan style. Plenty of attractions in the surrounding area. Absolutely perfect. Amazing holiday.😊

We recently stayed at Lucca Franco's Villa, which is conveniently accessible from Pisa. We chose this place because it's more affordable and not overly touristy. Despite being off the beaten path, there are great restaurants nearby. The shower was excellent, and the bed was cozy. We were treated to a beautiful view of the mountains, and everything was impeccably clean. The support we received on WhatsApp from Vania was outstanding. Everyone was so friendly, and they even offered tours and wine tastings around the city of Lucca. But the highlight of our stay was definitely the breakfast—oh my gosh! It was absolutely delicious with so many options. The breakfast alone deserves 10 stars.

The design was rustical but everything was PERFECTLY clean and new. It was a pleasure to stay in such lovely and aesthetically pleasing place. There was a nice breakfast and the staff was sxtremely helpful and polite (the owner respoded quickly, the self-checkin was easy, the staff at the villa responded to all our requests very kindly). We are amazed. Moreover the location was perfect for us, as we are a family travelling by train. Due to the fact that the villa is located in a small village but really close to the train station (4min walk) we were able to experience "the toscanian countryside" but also commute easily without a car.

Very clean and inviting in general, pleasant interior decor and wonderfully comfortable bed. Great breakfast served in a beautifully interesting room......the old cellars perhaps?.....staffed by a most professional, very polite and helpful young chap. Easy to find.......just seconds away from main road yet situated in a quiet and characteristic residential area.

Paper cups for complementary teas in room....... forgiven but not forgotten 😉

The property was excellent, very comfortable and beautiful. A historic building, beautiful architectural feature throughout. The breakfast was great. Cara, was very helpful.

The main issue was the lack of air-conditioning. The AC units are installed but they did not work. A technician was called but the AC remained not operational. So during the nights we needed to open the windows, but by 5 am the traffic noise would wake us up and we had to close. the windows.

Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Staff friendly and helpful. Location good as long as you have a car (Lucca 15 minutes, Pisa 30 minutes etc.)

Really need a car. Not much to do within walking distance - a couple of restaurants and a cafe.

Ideal location for our purposes, breakfast staff friendly, cleaners were diligent in their duties, free onsite parking, good internet after rebooting modem, easy to navigate to by car, breakfast plentiful and varied.

Some confusion upon arrival for self check in but quickly and positively dealt with by management.

This stay was a surprise. We booked the hotel while on the way to the area not knowing what to expect and it turn out to be, just an amazing suprise. The hospitality was really five stars, the lady at the reception was very attentive and always willing to help or checking if we needed anything. The breakfast was the best ones I had while travelling in Italy, so much varienty, well presented and everything so fresh, I really enjoyed. The room sare amazing, the decoration and attention to detail. I just loved the place.

Amazing view! Again - Amazing! Perfect place to stay away from big cities and reload your brains! Super comfy bed. Tasty breakfast. Friendly personal will share a vary list ot places to visit around so you'll definitely find smth for you. Hidden gem in Toscana!
