The overall experience was great. Above expectations: great Spa well designed for all age/preference groups: families, non-nude, nude. We did not miss anything in particular at the Spa, if not for the size of some facilities (e.g. small-ish pools? and yet enjoyable and not crowded). The Spa had large and very comfortable relax areas and spaces (including outdoors). Surprisingly good the gourmet restaurant, where freshly baked bread, sticks and cakes where absolute winners of taste and attention. Nothing we had was trivial or less than great. We love food and experienced all kinds worldwide and yet we were very pleased. Prices have been higher than expected but quality won our top price/quality ranking! The breakfast in the morning was complete with everything (again freshly baked and cooked) we ever imagined: traditional and international, sweet and salty, natural and organic, gluten and lactose-free, really above expectations Personnel were always helpful and a good guidance to understand the few things that needed explanation. In general, the hotel was fully booked but with properly proportioned facilities so that we never felt too many people were interfering with our relaxed stay. Really great!

The lighting of the room was somewhat scarce and an abat-jour was broken so that the overall result was darker than properly needed. The warm and cozy atmosphere was a little compromised by this situation. The bathroom was complete with everything if not at a lower standard than room, hotel and spa in general. However, we got the last room available for a very late booking, so maybe that could have been the real problem: that room should not be considered representative of the standard room level.

My wife and I and our friends stayed at the Trentino - Hotel San Giacomo for five days. I would like to thank all the staff for the wonderful welcome, warm homely atmosphere, desire to help and answer any question and respond to any desire. The spa in the hotel is very impressive, many different saunas with different temperatures, jacuzzi, for any health condition Good tasty breakfasts. Around 3-4 o'clock in the evening you can treat yourself to delicious pies with coffee. An unforgettable dinner in the gourmet restaurant in the hotel. We took advantage of the wonderful opportunity to get acquainted with the local nature with the help of a professional instructor (and by the way, for free). Very nice rooms. Very luxurious with a personal touch. Everything is so clean and nice. Breakfast buffet is ridiculously good with local products. Diner 4 course meal for a very sharp price is haute cuisine The wine list is amazing Mountains are so pretty, beds comfortable, personnel nice. I would suggest anyone who loves nature, luxury and comfort to stay here

The hotel is isolated, but then again you don’t need anything else. The hotel and staff are amazing.

This was one of those rare occasions where the photos underrate the beauty of the location. We arrived on a beautiful sunny day and the drive up was wonderful. The staff were very helpful despite a misunderstanding from Booking.com that our son was younger than he was. They fixed the error for a new bed very quickly. The spa had a far greater selection of items than we expected and the food was wonderful.

The hotel is very well managed. It is spotless and the staff is very professional and friendly. The breakfast is amazing. And the surroundings are beautiful with easily reachable walks. The spa is small but good. They accommodate well to families. Great stay

The room was okay but not up to the standards of the rest of the hotel experience. The wood is old with many use marks and could benefit from an upgrade. But we booked late and were in the very last room available, probably not their best.

Wow.. what an amazing, breathtaking place. What didn't we like! The view, the spa, the location. All perfect for a little get away! Staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs. We had a great 30th birthday celebrating there! We are so grateful for making our trip spectacular. The pictures really don't do this place justice. Location was difficult to get too without paying a lot for a taxi from verona airport. But we loved the travel!

The breakfast was one of the most comprehensive "buffet" style breakfasts I have seen — certainly in Italy, maybe anywhere in the world. The hotel in general is very well thought through, with lovely touches throughout that were a delightful mix of modern and traditional. Especially loved the live music in the evenings, the relaxing bar atmosphere, the food (a la carte dinner especially was Michelin quality), the friendly staff, and the daily pamphlet with weather, activities, and stories of local history!

Nothing I would go out of my way truly complain about, just some suggestions improvements to make the stay *even better*! Would have loved for the spa or at least pools to have opened before breakfast for those who like a morning swim :) Smoke from the kitchen and from the smokers outside can waft into the rooms if you leave the doors open — just a caution to those with sensitive noses!

The hotel exceeded expectations. The staff was informative and friendly, I especially liked the newsletter each morning with events, excusions and hikes nearby. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection, both savory and sweet, a honey comb and over 15 seeds, fruits, yogurt/cereal toppings.
