We really liked the room. It was a great size, very clean and modern. The location was also great for saying all of the sites. The staff that was there during the day was also very friendly and helpful.

We had a car and it was a nightmare trying to drop our bags and finding a place to park. The hotel is on a very narrow street where you can’t pull over without blocking traffic. There is no parking anywhere close by. The parking map that the Hotel provides is of no use. The person who answers the phone when you call after hours also was difficult to get a hold of. It took three tries. When he finally called us back, we learned where to park. It was about 3/4 of a mile away. I would not stay there again if I had a car. If I didn’t have a car, it’s a wonderful hotel.

Excellent lovely cozy hotel, located in the heart of the old Cagliari, on a very narrow street, just a few steps from the cathedral, museums, within the old city walls, very warm welcome from the staff, beautiful studio apartment, I got a welcome birthday gift:-) the breakfasts were very delicious, great selection. Huge thank you goes to Sara for being so nice and serving those breakfasts, and huge thank you goes to Narjis for giving us a very valuable advices how to go around the city, and what app should be used for Cagliari buses. Really, we had a lovely stay in Birkin Castello, definitely would be happy to be back. Grazie mille!

To me and to my family all was perfect

The hotel is perfectly located in the old city area which is at the top of the city but you can reach it easily just a short walk from the street lift. No traffic so it's very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, guided for check in, where to park and taxi booking. We used the free parking on Viale Boncamino that's 5 min walk. The breakfast room and terrace is cosy and the food options are great. The room is large, king size bed very comfy with two pillows each and of different thickness, mini fridge, bathroom and shower separated, large windows, Aircon and big TV with casting so we could watch Amazon prime/ Disney from our account. Room service was impeccable, everyday the bed was made to a high standard.

The only bit I would recommend is to have a support for hanging your face towel, the wardrobe in our room didn't have a mid shelf just the hangers and a drawer so it was a bit difficult with all the clothes and maybe a small ice machine in the breakfast area for self service.

The Apartment was in the historical old part of Cagliari and had been stylishly decorated. The staff member who met us when we arrived was super helpful. She stayed late for us and helped us sort our next day to go and see the flamingos as well as recommending a couple of great restaurants. All other communication by WhatsApp regarding getting there, ordering a taxi for us to get to the airport was also excellent. The breakfast offered was fantastic.

Great location with an atmosphere I have imagined for a hotel in that place. Very helpful friendly stuff. Clean. Very nice breakfast. Our room no.5 was enough big for 3 people (it has actually two rooms). Coffee machine, little kitchen. All you need for a short stay. And they welcome dogs there! All in all very symphatic! Would live to return!

Well, I cannot say I did not like it, but is just important to imagine well where the hotel is in case you come by a car. Ideal is to park in a big covered parking below the old centre on via Elena and you can easily go up by two lifts from the parking up to the castle right few corners from the hotel. If you know the way... :-) see photos of the second lift. I didnt like the double bed in our room. Was too soft and had a kind of a low hole in a middle like a nest, so fine if you are alone but not fine for two people. But maybe somebody else will be ok with it.

The room was exceptionally spacious and well appointed. The team were some of the kindest and most accommodating that we have met over our two month trip. Narjis, Carla the chef, and the rest of the ladies were just wonderful! The shower was Large - this is unusual for Italy. The location was excellent as far as getting to places especially in the historic area.

In the evenings, it was a little loud at times. Given that it is on a very narrow street sometimes the buses in the morning woke us up as well.

Wonderful, well-designed room with a very comfortable bed, with a luxurious feel to the whole place. Lighting, shelf-space, bathroom, tea and coffee facilities are all first-class. Breakfast is a beautiful spread of both hot and cold varieties, in a delightful dining area. Staff are very friendly, speak very good English and are very happy to help. Communication by Whatsapp was prompt and efficient. The hotel is located in the old, historic part of town and is about fifteen minutes on foot from the main restaurant/shopping area, and it is a steep walk up. We loved the atmosphere of the old town, and we are fast walkers, but this may deter others wishing to be closer to the action. The public lift down to the piazza helped too.

Saturday night was rowdy as revelers were returning from a night spot in the historic town, and shouting echoed through the narrow streets, but this is obviously not under the hotel's control. The balcony door has double-glazing but it was not enough to keep the noise out. During the week it is eerily quiet.

During breakfast cleaning lady sometimes carried cleaning supplies (vacuum, mop, ...) through breakfast room The room has one small part of the wall (between room and bathroom) that is glass wall, looking directly at toilet seat - so that you can watch your partner go on toilet?

First of all,I need to say that cleaner is amazing.The room was clean for 10. I forgot her name, but the place works thanks to her. For breakfast, she always asked us what we wanted in addition to the food already offered, always with a smile. The room is big and comfortable. The location is good. Besides, I have to mention that the internet is extremely bad. I otherwise work from home and could not use it at all. Once again, I want to thank the woman who cleans and prepares breakfast for her exceptional kindness.

This is a wonderful hotel, the room that we stayed in was large and very tastefully decorated. Breakfast was great. They take your coffee order and how you like your eggs, but other than that, there are not so many choices if you do not eat gluten. The staff was great and really personal service, it was like staying at a friend's house, you felt really welcome.
