It is really difficult where to start - everything exceeded all expectations. Starting with the staff, every single one, super friendly, very attentive and always ready to help. The building is an absolute beauty, everything is in excellent conditions, the interior architecture is just beautiful, everything is more than well maintained. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, it was delicious, high quality. Overall, this hotel is a top recommendation and we will surely be back one day. Thanks to all the staff!

Bellissima casa storica del Quattrocento ( 15th century or 15. Jahrhundert ) very well restored with a lot of sense for its age and history, in the very centre of Cannobio. Good parkings over and under ground ( reservation recommended ). Practically all rooms different and very individual, many with balconies and lake view. Very friendly and helpful staff, good beds, rooms all very clean, good breakfast buffet. Easy contact in several languages. Room rates not cheap but rooms worth their price.

Beautiful old building in a prime position. Really spacious and comfortable room with private balcony plus large shared lounge area with complimentary tea and coffee. Free secure parking a short walk away. Not suitable however for anyone with limited mobility as located on a steep cobbled hill and lots of steps within the property. Really friendly welcoming staff at reception and in the breakfast room.

Nothing to dislike

The 15th century hotel's location was excellent - right in the centre of Cannobio just a stones throw from the lake shore and all of the restaurants. The room was ideal with a balcony looking out over the lake and the breakfast was superb. The staff were very friendly and very sympathetic when we had to suddenly curtail our stay as a result of our flight being cancelled.

Nothing - everything was brilliant.

Wow on location, plus an amazing 15th-century monastery now refurbished. Staff were amazing, meeting us at an underground car park (we paid extra for) nearby and helped us back with our luggage, and was also proud of the building and showed us around with a smile. The door to the lift was even an original. Room was excellent, good air-con (it was a hot day). It has a MASSIVE lounge area which we didn't get to use, but for an evening if with friends is just perfect. But the location meant we could in 30 seconds be on the lake/water front and ate out at one of the many restaurants into the evening. Breakfast at the hotel was really good too. Will want to stay again, could not really fault it.

Reception was the best. Staff is so friendly and accommodating! The location was right in Cannobio a few steps away from the lake and historic center. Surrounded by shops and restaurants. Secure parking was a plus for us. Breakfast was delicious and plenty to chose from. Even hot scrambled eggs. The building inside has so much history. Accommodations where wonderful and it was quiet.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Property has been tastefully restored to retain its original charm yet provide all modern conveniences. Lovely breakfast a wide range of options included in room rate. Centrally located to lakeside dining options and town centre. Can’t fault this lovely hotel.

Only downside (minor) was there is no onsite vehicle access, however free parking nearby is provided.

The place has a period feel to it whilst having all modern amenities. The hotel is full of character and is in a great location. The staff were exceptionally friendly but also effective. Car parking was straightforward with secure covered parking bays a short walk from the hotel. I had a great time at Hotel Pironi - thank you so much, guys.

I had absolutely no complaints.

Amazing location, feels like you are staying in a palazzo but with modern standards. Roomy rooms with a beautiful bedroom. Good beds, airconditioning if necessary, minibar. The breakfast is a must, since you eat in the most beautiful breakfast room with a complete buffet. Also, you have a cozy lounge at your disposal if you want to relax. For a small surplus cost, you can also book a closed garage for your car in a easy to reach location.

I can't think of anything, really an amazing hotel.

Amazing hotel right in the heart of Cannobio, walking distance to everything! The room we had was amazing, really unique and had a lovely balcony/terrace. We visited as part of our honeymoon and they left us some biscuits as a special treat! The breakfast was also amazing and the communal areas.

The parking was a slight squeeze.
