I loved the location – it was absolutely beautiful. We had a balcony with a stunning view, and everything was just perfect. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from, and the staff were very friendly, even making fresh coffee for us. Our room was unique and beautifully designed, and it was cleaned multiple times a day – at least three – so it was always spotless. I’m not sure about other rooms, but ours didn’t have a TV. The hotel offers private parking for guests only, which costs €20 per night. It’s about a 5-minute drive and then a 3-minute walk from the hotel.

Because the hotel is in a very central and busy area, there’s quite a lot of noise even with the windows closed. After 23:00 it gets much quieter, but until then there are street performers singing and shouting, so if you plan to sleep early it might be challenging. This next point might be specific to our room, but since the building is old, we had three large spiders during our stay. When I went to the reception, they immediately provided an anti-bug spray, which solved the problem quickly.

- breakfast was consistently good and fresh; - the whole atmosphere/ vibe of the hotel and the neighboring area was lovely and inviting; - the view from our room was exceptional and so beautiful; - bathroom was nice, water was hot immediately and with good pressure; - location is perfect - there's a lot of lively restaurants and shops and ice cream shops around the hotel but it has good quiet vibe (good soundproofing); - parking option is safe (underground with own car box); - we would visit again with no hesitation.

- the furniture and the room feel a bit outdated but, to be honest, this brings a charm in itself and gives a retro feeling, rather than a "not modern" one; - while breakfast was excellent, it always offered the same choices.

Room in need for renovation, bathroom window without curtain, confusing message regarding car parking plus air conditioning was not cooling during day time.

A nice hotel in an unbeatable location, with nice staff and a good breakfast. it is a bit pricey, especially on a Saturday night prior to the famous market, but worth it. The car was "valet" parked bty stff, which is absolutely essential in the old city center. The location is walking distance for the boat landing and in the heart of the activities in town.

It was a bit tough to get to the hotel, but staff were very helpful to "schlepp" our luggage from the hotel by cart to the parking spot for the car.

Best placed hotel in town, we had room on top floor with views to harbour and to direct lake that are fantastic. Staff great, breakfast very good.

Beds a little hard, hair dryer needs longer lead so can see in mirror.

Arriving in nothing short of a monsoon - the staff were superb in getting us into the hotel with all our luggage and then taking our car to park in their garage. They happily provided us with a lovely meal in our room. Breakfast was excellent - room was lovely with a view right across the lake. Just could not have asked for a nicer stay and will hopefully return

Absolutely nothing to fault

Perfect location. Beautiful view of the lake from our bedroom windows. Nice decorations and marbled bathroom.

We had a 1st floor room and the windows in the sitting room and main bathroom open right to the busy street outside with only a sheet curtain for privacy. We felt we could not use the bathroom at night with the light on. But the room had another bathroom that we could use n privacy.

Great hotel, great location on the lake side and great breakfast.

The heat was very much on in the room on fourth floor blow the roof. We troede to have it fixed but still too warm.

the coffee was just awful. In fact, I never had worse coffee anywhere in Italy - or even the world! Yes, I think this hotel has the world's worst coffee! and PS: I am the same Jürgen who gave you all the raving reviews over the past years, but your coffee never was this bad. PLEASE, do get a proper hotel coffee machine where guests can just press a button for the coffee they like. Everybody has one now ...
